Katherine Heigl smokes electronic cigarettes! Heigl has managed to not smoke a real tobacco-filled cigarette in six months thanks to the devices, which help ease nicotine craves, and now believes that smoking “sucks”.
Heigl said: “I use an electronic cigarette. I know it’s ridiculous, but it’s helping me not to actually smoke real cigarettes. You feel like you are smoking, and you get to exhale but it’s just water vapour and not nicotine. I’ve been doing it for six months. Smoking sucks!”
Katherine Heigl is not missed on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. Heigl took a few months off to raise her newly adopted daughter, and then made the decision last week to not return. Heigl has been sort of a prissy pain to the show for a while now — after famously not wanting to be considered for an Emmy due to bad writing — so the fact she decided not to return wasn’t exactly shocking.

In one of the longest, most drawn-out departures in television history, it looks like Katherine Heigl is finally throwing in the towel and saying goodbye to Grey’s Anatomy. For some reason, Heigl has had a love/hate relationship with the show and often criticized the writing.

This time, however, she may have a legitimate excuse. Heigl adopted a special needs baby from South Korea late last year and after taking some time off, it doesn’t look like she’s returning.
