After showing Letterman a video of her pulling the same prank on CNN anchor, Anderson Cooper at Times Square, Kathy proceeded to disrobe before a bemused Dave, who stood by leering like a creepy uncle.

Oh, well…it wasn’t as much fun as watching a younger Drew Barrymore flash Letterman in 1995, but after those 2009 allegations of affairs with considerably younger show subordinates, maybe Kathy Griffin baring her middle-aged body to him is a safer alternative CBS producers will tolerate…

It’s quite understandable for most gay men to be nervous about having to encounter such a large amount of female skin—especially if that female happened to be the feisty, hilarious, and somewhat aggressive Kathy Griffin.

If you didn’t already guess, Kathy and Jesse are re-enacting Janet Jackson’s famous (or infamous?) 1993 Rolling Stone magazine cover, in which the singer can be seen posing shirtless while an unknown man’s hands covers her boobs.

Kathy, who obviously played the role of Janet in the photo, told Page Six:

“Jesse got nervous [about re-enacting the Jackson setup for the Out shoot].”

She added:

“I don’t know why. He’s a gay man, and it’s not like I was going to do anything to him. Well, maybe I would have with the right sedatives. But boobs are boobs, and mine are real. Maybe that’s what surprised him. Being a Hollywood actor, he was probably like, ‘What are these things? I’ve never felt these before.’ ”

The racy (but hilarious) photo, which appears on the magazine’s latest issue, was shot for the Out100—a list of the most influential men and women (both gay and straight) in the LGBT community, in which both Kathy Griffin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are included.

Kathy began by making remarks about how making fun of the E!News and American Idol host did wonders for her ticket sales, and openly questioned him about what kind of “smoke and mirrors” game he played to snare hot “Dancing With The Stars” dancer Julianne Hough.

Entertainment news heard Ryan shoot back with a slur of his own about the redhead comedian’s red, red lipstick, whereupon Griffin was on him in a trice and vigorously smudged her lipstick on his mouth in earnest right on prime time television.

“There, I just sold my soul to the devil,”

Kathy declared.

“Your career is over, you realize that?”

Ryan called out to her as she made her way back to the red carpet.

Which just got us wondering….is there some hidden flame smoldering between these two? In secret? Behind Julianne Hough‘s back?

A day after Jim’s self-taped video—in which he confesses his love for Emma Stone—went viral on celebrity news sites, Kathy decided to come out with her own video for Justin.

In the video, Kathy goes:

“Justin Bieber, I want you to know you are all the way beautiful, even with those lesbian bangs—but that is not any diss to the LGBT community… You’re smart and kind-hearted. That’s sort of an assumption, but I assume… you seem nice… If I could, I would marry you. Oh, that’s actually not true. It’s messy, Justin, there’s a distribution of assets. We would just go steady.”

She adds:

“And the sex—whoo—it’s going to be weird… Anyway, the problem is there’s an age difference. I’m a lot older than you Justin Bieber. I’m 29… 39… 49… just look me up.”

Basically, Kathy copied down everything Jim said in his video and read them aloud—with a few changes. But hers was obviously a joke while Jim’s was… well… you couldn’t really tell because he sounded so serious!

Wrong. Several sources say the two have begun dating and are getting to know on another….hmmmm.

“They are not boyfriend/girlfriend but they are definitely spending time together and getting to know each other…”

Kathy Griffin tweeted photos of the two and those who spied on the pair Tuesday while they both attended Costume Designer’s Guild Awards where he was kissing her on the hand and whispering suggestively in her ear.

Talk about the odd couple! But Kathy Griffin is a master at media manipulation. Remember when she attended that awards show with Levi Johnston?

Anyway, you can always count on Kathy to kill ‘em with her drag queen wit. She told reporters on the red carpet:

“Long-distance relationships are not easy, especially when he’s in his igloo and I’m in my Hollywood tower. I have played Alaska, but so nowhere near where he grew up,” she said. “I played a Rosie [O'Donnell] lesbian cruise there and I’m pretty sure Levi wasn’t on that cruise. I mean, I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure Levi is not kicking it with the lesbian cruises.”

What was Levi‘s response to all of this?

“I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I’m told.”

Now that’s something we can certainly believe.

But Kathy, you’re no spring chicken neither.  She said they’ll be life-long friends! He ain’t going to give you any money as a life-long friend. Oh yes, I am bad! Hello, I am a gossip columnist!

“He is an awesome guy, but I have to say he is in the friends category now,” Griffin, 47, told Usmagazine.com at the GLAAD Awards in L.A. Saturday.

“As a matter of fact,” she added, “I got an email last week from him, and he is going to marry someone else… I think he might be married. I don’t really know that for sure, though.”

She insisted there are no hard feelings: He even appears on the upcoming season of her Bravo reality show.

“He is really cute and funny on it,” she said, adding, “He’s totally a life-long friend.”

Griffin and Wozniak, 57, met last year after he watched her perform in Saratoga.
