Billy Joel and third wife Katie Lee are officially calling it quits. We saw this coming months ago, but at the time Joel and Lee were still attempting to figure their marriage out. At least publicly, that is. Alas, the pair confirmed the news yesterday. Parting between an older, short, balding guy and good-looking glamazon is such sweet sorrow.

In a statement to The New York Daily News:
Billy Joel’s wife, Katie Lee, is cheating on Billy with an Isreali designer named Yigal Azrouel as we reported earlier. Billy and Katie got married almost five years ago, and while he’s pushing 60 and she’s only 27, it appeared the two were happy until recently. Of course, Katie swore to Billy the designer was gay (easy to believe, sure).
