Katy Perry ditches a TV appearance for date night with Russell Brand. Uh oh. Katy is canceling scheduled appearances for dinner and a nightcap? That doesn’t sound good for Katy’s career. You can’t cancel things for a man and a booty call!

Katy Perry celebrated her 25th birthday Saturday night with boyfriend Russell Brand by throwing neon paint at her guests. The bash was held at The Beach On Sunset restaurant in West Hollywood  and it was transformed into Willy Wonka’s factory.

Katy and Russell came hand-in-hand to the party which began with a sit-down dinner at 7pm. As reports by Radar Online:

Katy Perry wears Russell Brand’s hat. Katy, who is known for her eccentric style anyway, was out shopping wearing one of Russell’s cast offs. I don’t know if it really matches Katy’s dress, but it’s better that watermelons or cherries I guess.

Katy and Russell have barely been dating for a month but the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer is set to introduce her ex-sex addict and drug-addled boyfriend to her overly Christian parents. Hm. Oh, to be a fly on the wall when this introduction takes place.
