Cattrall tells Ellen Degeneres that playing Samantha Jones, a hyper sexualized character scares away some suitors. The Sex and The City star,54, added, “Writing a book about the female orgasm didn’t help my dating career either.”

“I’m trying; it’s very difficult.” “You would think so, but men like to think that they know it all, especially in that department.”

“They don’t?” joked DeGeneres.

“No,” said Cattrall. “We know what feels good.”

Cattrall has not had too much luck in the marriage department; she has been married three times, the last one ended in a divorce in 2004.  

By the way Cattrall’s book title: Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm. Anyone read it?

Leaked story lines suggest that Miley will bump into Samantha Jones played by Kim Cattrall who end up wearing the exact same dress as the 16-year old superstar in an attempt to look “young and hot”. According to on-set rumors, Anthony Marentino (played by Mario Cantone) then starts to cry, “Mother of God! She’s wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana!” The scene is scheduled to be filmed on October 16, 2009. – via Examiner

Kim is 52 years old and agreed to pose topless with her young co-stars.  Brave.

The Daily Mail says:

The game actress’s latest role called for her to take off her clothes for a worthy cause – to save a valuable artwork – alongside a troupe of super-fit twenty-something performers from theatre production La Clique.

And the 52-year-old actress, who regularly stripped in television show Sex And The City, duly rose to the challenge, holding her own among the nubile young bodies who were assembled to recreate Titian masterpiece Diana and Actaeon.

The painting is in a public collection and the group was trying to raise money to maintain its’ public stay.  They don’t want it to go to a private collector or leave Britain.

Fine, snobs.

Do hear that? It’s the click clacks of a million Manolo Blahniks and martini glasses. The almost deafening, yet universal mating call for women and gay men all over the world. 

Anyway, we weren’t treated to anymore details of the script other than how Cattrall is thrilled Samantha is single because she has “way too much fun” (amen!) and how Cynthia Nixon would love for the four ladies to go on a “wild mad cap adventure.” 

As long as Patricia Field is dressing them, Samantha is carousing, Charlotte keeps her pie hole shut, and we aren’t tortured with anymore Carrie/Big storylines, I’m there!

Yesterday she was diplomatic about why New York lost out, explaining: “This is where New Line Cinema decided to do it, so we started here. We are thrilled to be in London and we will be thrilled to take it to America.”

Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda in the film, tried to placate American fans by implying last night’s London premiere was not the main event.

She said: “We’re having a kind of smallish premiere here; we’re having a smallish premiere in Berlin.

“We’re building to the New York premiere which is enormous and happens just before the film opens worldwide.”

Following the London première in Leicester Square, the film heads to Berlin on May 15 before finally showing in New York on May 27. The film opens on May 30 in the United States.
