Madonna may dislike Lady Gaga mainly because she didn’t think her hit “Born This Way” was too unoriginal (plus the fact that she can’t quite figure her out) but she dared to include Gaga‘s similar-sounding track into her own concert rehearsal anyway in Tel Aviv in Israel recently.

In fact, she even mashed it up with her own song from 1989, “Express Yourself”—the track which she claimed Gaga had based her hit on.

Maybe it was to finally prove that it really did sound similar? After all, she did say that “Born This Way” was a “wonderful redo” of her track.

Hmm. Wonder how Gaga and her fans would react to this one…

Mother Monster‘s has been “Born This Way” opening tour in South Korea pushed through with an age restriction and so did her Manila tour where religious groups rallied for the cancellation of her two-day concert, but she was forced to cancel her sold-out June 3 concert in Indonesia on Sunday.

Apparently, death threats were so imminent that even her own fans ended up protesting on Twitter for the cancellation of the concert for their own idol’s safety.

Gossip Cop reported:

“Members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) called the show’s cancellation a ‘victory,’ and noted they had purchased tickets to the ‘Born This Way Ball’ in an effort to disrupt the show.”

Whoa. Scary!

Lady Gaga then apologized on her Twitter:

“We had to cancel the concert in Indonesia. I’m so very sorry to the fans & just as devastated as you if not more. You are everything to me.”

In order to make her Indonesian Monsters feel a little better, the pop star promised:

“I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown. #GagaSendsLoveToJakarta and all its people.”

What a bummer.

Looks like things are not going as planned for her Asia tour…

After having to cancel her sold out tour in Indonesia due to being banned in the country and losing underage fans as attendees to her South Korea concert, some religious protesters in the capital city of the Philippines are now rallying for the cancellation of Gaga‘s concerts, which are due to take place on May 21 and 22.

Why else, but because of her controversial songs and her raunchy antics?

Roughly 70 protesters, who are all members of the Christian group “Biblemode Youth Philippines, have been chanting “Stop the Lady Gaga Concerts” are apparently non-fans of her music—especially her song “Judas”—and they want her to cancel her concert just less than a week before she arrives in Manila.

However, sources confirm that her concerts will still take place, as long as she regulates her wild ways. As the mayor of Pasay City Antonino Calixto said in a statement:

“We reminded the producers of Lady Gaga’s concert that the show and the event as a whole shall not exhibit any nudity or lewd conduct which may be offensive to morals and good customs.”

As for her song “Judas,” former Philippine Congressman Benny Abante threatens to file charges against Gaga if she performs it, on grounds of offending religion, which could imprison her from six months to six years.

Whoa.

Not only did Lady Gaga lose her man, but she also got barred from performing in Indonesia—the second country that has made it clear that they’re not exactly fans of the singer’s wild, wild ways. Just two months after South Korea banned all underage citizens from Gaga’s concert on April 27, Indonesia decided to go the same route… but worse.

And it’s all because of Gaga‘s infamously raunchy antics.

Gaga was set to perform her tour’s biggest show yet—a sold-out show at a 52,000-seat venue in Jakarta—next month, but due to fierce opposition from Indonesia’s religious groups and political leaders, she was forced to cancel the whole thing.

Apparently, the country’s conservative Muslim groups believe that Gaga’s raunchy outfits and dance moves are extremely “vulgar,” and they believe it would be ”dangerous” to expose their citizens—especially the younger crowd, Mother Monster’s usual demographic—to such things.

One group stated their reason for wanting to keep Gaga away from their country:

“She stated she is the envoy of the devil’s child and that she will spread satanic teaching.”

Satanic teaching? Wow.

In spite of celebrity photographer pal Terry Richardson‘s caption of her photo where she was showing off an “engagement” bling and the rumors that surrounded it, Lady Gaga is definitely not set to get married yet.

Richardson posted the photo this weekend while they were on a trip to Tokyo and calling her bling her “new engagement ring,” but TMZ tells us:

“Our sources say it’s just a ring and Gaga is not engaged to anyone.”

Of course Terry has the last laugh. Or at least Gaga‘s former boy toy Taylor Kinney does.

Lady Gaga, who broke up with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney two weeks ago, is reportedly engaged… according to celebrity photographer, Terry Richardson.

Taken during their Disneyland adventure this weekend, Mother Monster was photographed by Richardson as she was pointing to her bling. Terry captioned her photo:

“Gaga showing off her new engagement ring!”

Hmm.

Nipple-tape again?

Lady Gaga, whose bizarre fashion “sense” is not at all limited, showed off her nipple-tape once again in her latest fierce black-and-white Twitter photo.

Posing with her pal, infamous celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, Mother Monster wore huge specs and what seems to be a leather dress and pulled it down just enough for her to expose and grab her left boob that had an “X” mark tape.

Gaga, who was in Japan at the time, captioned her photo:

“Yes Tokyo! Tonight was the first BTWBall that I didn’t puke during show. (yes its that hard) xoxoxxxo Love, gaga+terry“

Gaga, who is a self-confessed former drug addict, has admitted in previous celebrity news interviews that she had a cocaine problem when she was in her teens, but she never went into detail… until now.

The pop star shares:

“[I was] very depressed when I was 19. I decided to pursue music, so I dropped out of school and I told my parents I didn’t want any money from them. I got three jobs and I just hit the ground running.”

Gaga continues:

“I would go back to my apartment every day and I would just sit there. It was quiet and it was lonely. It was still. It was just my piano and myself. I had at television and I would leave it on all the time just to feel like somebody was hanging out with me.”

But the “Marry The Night” singer, who recently broke up with boyfriend Taylor Kinney, wasn’t sad about being alone—she actually came to “cherish” it.  She says:

“Especially during the period when I was doing cocaine… it was like the drug was my friend. I never did it with other people. It’s such a terrible way to fill that void, because it just adds to that void, because it’s not real.”

After a while, Gaga realized that she’d had enough. She recalls:

“I sort of f-cking woke up one day and was like, ‘You’re an asshole. You’re not an artist. If you were a real f-cking artist, you’d be focused on your music. You wouldn’t be spending your money on the white devil.”

When she finally kicked the habit, the singer found something more positive to “fill that void.” She shares:

“I focused 150 percent of my energy on my happiness.”

Good for you, Gaga!

“Vampire Diaries” star Taylor Kinney, who started dating Gaga after appearing on her music video for “You And I,” is no longer the Mother Monster’s main squeeze.

A source tells Us Weekly:

“[Gaga and Taylor are] on a break… She will be touring nonstop until next year and has found she can’t have relationship at the same time.”

Apparently, Lady Gaga has an extremely busy year ahead of her. She’s not only traveling the globe for her yearlong world tour (The Born This Way Ball)—she’s also going to have her hands full recording songs for her next album.

The insider continues:

“There’s just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming.”

So what happened to all her “Born This Way” talk? Coming from a person who is constantly advocating against bullying and promoting self-love, this is a very disappointing move.

Gaga faced immediate backlash on Twitter after posting a tweet that many took to be a statement supporting eating disorders:

“Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay”

Twitter users were quick to slam the pop singer. One tweeted:

“Seriously what is Lady Gaga playing at? In her last tweet she put #PopSingersDontEat. Great role model she is..”

Another wrote:

“@ladygaga I’m stunned that you would promote such an unhealthy attitude towards food to your fans when you claim to be so righteous.”

So far, the Mother Monster has kept mum on the issue.

You should be honored, Nicki!

They both wear crazy outfits, insanely colorful wigs, and bright makeup, but Nicki insists that despite their shared interest in crazy fashion, she and Gaga have nothing in common.

When asked during an interview with “Nightline” if the comparisons with Gaga “offend” her, Nicki answered:

“Offend me, no. Irks me, yeah.”

She added:

”First of all, I’m a rapper… I’m from Southside Jamaica, Queens.”

And when the interviewer pointed out that she and Gaga were similar because of their outlandish outfits and colorful wigs, the “Beez In a Trap” rapper replied:

“Wigs? Every female in this game wears wigs. Over-the-top costumes? Eh, try again.”

After stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the similarities, Nicki added:

“It’s getting tired now to me. In the beginning I was like, ‘Okay, it’s cool. When they get to know me they’ll understand me.’”

But despite her irritation at the comparison, Nicki had nothing but good things to say about the Mother Monster. She said:

“Gaga is a fantastic artist… She’s paved her way. She’s opened her own lane.”

Nicki added:

“But I feel like I have my own lane, and we never cross… EVER!”

Hmm. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Poor little Monsters!

Despite Lady Gaga’s recent efforts to be a little more normal when it comes to her clothes (which have been pretty tame for the past few months) and her behavior, the authorities in South Korea, where Gaga will be kicking off her world tour, have decided to ban little Monsters who are under the age of 18 from attending her show.

According to reports, the promoter of the South Korean leg of the Born This Way Ball—Gaga’s upcoming world tour—was forced to refund all the tickets that had already been sold to underage little Monsters after the Korea Media Rating Board announced their ruling.

No reason was given for the ban.

Justin Bieber‘s fans may have just caused their idol to engage in war with Lady Gaga and her fans for the honor of being the most followed person on YouTube. With Lady Gaga leading with over 20 million loyal followers and Justin with over 18 million earlier this week, the Beliebers—or at least one of them—was so desperate to have Justin take the lead that the fan tried to have fellow Beliebers take action. And how, you ask? By coaxing them to unfollow Gaga!

A Belieber posted on Twitter:

“To all beliebers this is operation unfollow Lady Gaga.”

The Justin fan continued with her typo-ridden post:

“I’m sorry if your a ‘little monster’ but don’t ou want Justin to be #1 followed on Twitter? Well here is the plan we all know that all beliebers with twitter follow Justin and we don’t have to ceate a million accounts with this plan. First, it’s simple to lok up Lady Gaga on Twitter. Next unfollow her. Simple!”

Finally, fan finished by explaining:

“I’m not trying to trash Gaga or anything I am a fsan [sic] of her music but I think Justin should be #1 followed on Twitter! That’s all but believers please spread the word for me okay? Thank you all that helped!”

After which, quite a few Beliebers created the hashtag #OperationUnfollowGaga. Unfortunately for Mother Monster, the particular tag became popular on her birthday (March 28), causing her very own Little Monsters to reply with messages such as, “Really Beliebers? That’s pathetic.”

The “operation” didn’t seem to make such a big difference, however, as Gaga still leads with 21,888,314 followers and Justin tails her with 19,190,607 as of posting. Looks like many refused to chose between the two pop icons, revealing the fact that there are probably also “Little Beliebers” comprising at least half of their followers.

One can only imagine what would happen if they were all in a single fan group…

Lady Gaga seems to be enjoying her “normal” way of life lately, what with her normal clothes and her unusual media vow of silence, that even she decided to celebrate her birthday without lavish parties or a public bang. Unlike many celebs who would start having their fancy-shmancy party hours before midnight and stretch their celebrations until a whole week, Mother Monster simply started her celebration hours before by going on Twitter and uploading a photo of a rather sad-looking cake.

She tweeted along with the caption:

“This is how it feels turning 26 in three and a half hours. Ha!”

And other than crowning herself with a rhinestone tiara earlier yesterday, Gaga had an exclusive spin class party at Soul Cycle with some of her friends.

A source told Us Weekly:

“She requested [Bruce Springsteen's] ‘Thunder Road’ because it’s one of her favorite songs. Her friends filled the studio, and they had a blast.”

Shockingly, Gaga even opted to stay in with her parents for her birthday dinner instead of painting the town red with multi-colored glitters as we sort of expected she would.

The source shared:

“It was just a small thing with her family. Her mother cooked.”

Although it may just have been a simple case of a superstar wishing to have a relaxing day after being in and out of rehearsals for her “Born This Way” tour, as one of Gaga‘s female friends reveals:

“She’s been ridiculously busy, and has been working herself very, very hard. But everyone had the most amazing time [yesterday]!”

Sounds a little too quiet for a celebrity, but this is tres better than the usual Vegas celebrity party!

Gaga revealed the real face hiding underneath all the crazy colored wigs, dramatic eye makeup, false lashes, and neon-colored lipsticks on Monday by posting a photo of herself sans makeup—save for a bit of eyebrow liner—on Twitter.

The pop star, who recently declared that she was taking a media vow of silence during her recent interview with Oprah, tweeted her barefaced photo along with the caption:

“Have a beautiful day!!”

Has Gaga grown tired of all the attention?

The Lady Gaga we’ve all come to know and love has slowly been morphing into a tamer and more normal version of herself—a version who wears people clothes, steers clear of nasty feuds with other celebs, and tries to stay out of the media.

Strange.

Maybe she’s matured enough as an artist to realize that she doesn’t need those wild, gimmicky costumes or the crazy antics to get people to love her music?

During Gaga’s recent interview with Oprah, the singer shared:

“The latest thing I do is I don’t read a damn thing. No press, no television… If my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about?’ I don’t want to know nothing about anything that is going on… I shut it all off.”

The Mother Monster then announced that she was taking a vow of silence… in the media, that is. She declared:

“Other than this interview, Oprah, I don’t intend to speak to anyone for a very long time.”

Gaga added:

“I have to shut out the noise.”

You’ve got to hand it to Lady Gaga’s fans… they are fiercely loyal to their Mother Monster!

Gaga’s fans, who famously bullied Adele on Twitter after the latter’s album hugely outperformed Gaga’s, have now set their sights on Kelly Osbourne.

The Twitter bullying began after Osbourne slammed Gaga on “Fashion Police” for skipping the red carpet at the Grammys. She said:

“Being part of the music industry is walking the red carpet. You say hello to your fans and you give back to those reporters and those people who supported you. And when you go to an awards show and you don’t walk the red carpet, I find that disrespectful.”

Lady Gaga’s little Monsters immediately jumped to the pop star’s defense by sending Kelly all kinds of hateful comments, including calling her “fat” and telling her to “kill herself.”

After retweeting some of the awful attacks from Gaga’s fans, Kelly tweeted:

“I have been told to die, suck d**k, get raped & that i look like i have aids by @ladygaga fans no wonder they get called bullies.”

She later added:

“i don’t label her entire fan base as bullies because i know they are not but some really are giving you guys a bad rep!”

After enduring extreme vilification and death threats from Gaga’s overzealous fans, Kelly again tweeted:

“@ladygaga really has created monsters. w/ every nasty unjustified tweet u send me u shame your queen. hate it not what @ladygaga is about!”

Gaga, on the other hand, has kept mum about the issue.

Gaga may have an unwavering obsession for Madonna, but the latter does not seem to return the love. In fact, it seems every interview she’s ever had, she’s always dissing Gaga!

When asked about what she thought of Gaga in her recent interview with The Advocate, Madonna replied coolly:

“I have no thoughts.”

Then, when asked to comment about Lady Gaga’s influence on today’s gay youth, Madonna responded:

“It seems genuine… It seems natural, and I can see why she has a young gay following. I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm. I mean, she’s not Britney Spears. She’s not built like a brick sh-thouse.”

She added:

“[Gaga] seems to have had a challenging upbringing, and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men.”

Sorry, Gaga… Madonna just can’t seem to bring herself to return the love you have for her!
