He was simply inspired to do so!

Singer Lenny Kravitz, who plays the stylist and designer of the stunning Jennifer Lawrence‘s on screen characterin “The Hunger Games,” opened up about taking on the role of a gay character and what inspired him throughout the whole filming period.

The “Again” singer shared:

“I actually have a friend who is a dancer who is bisexual, and he was a lot of inspiration for my speech pattern and my rhythm, and kind of the way I sauntered in and out a little bit.”

Lenny went on:

“I’ll be quite frank with you — I didn’t know about “Hunger Games” — so when I’m telling kids and they say, ‘Who are you playing?’ and I say Cinna, they go, ‘Oh you’re playing the gay guy.’ That was an actual answer. I’ve never brought that up yet. That’s how they perceived it. So I thought about it, and I read the book and I don’t see that he is or isn’t [gay]. He’s a designer, he’s a stylist, he has gold eyeliner—that doesn’t mean anything either way.”

The married retro rocker then revealed what his true concern was in terms of his controversial portrayal of District 12′s stylist:

“The question was how far do we go with him. The idea was to pull it back and create a character that’s more like a Tom Ford or an Yves Saint Laurent so he wouldn’t be too outrageous. He’s classic, he’s got his gold. I kind of played him in the middle.”

So just how effective was his portrayal of the supporting character? We’ve yet to find out when the movie’s finally released for the rest of the world to see, won’t we?

The one bond between all three major players was manager Guy Oseary.  Or was.  Lenny gave Guy the boot via the New York Post TWO weeks ago after he was told he was going to be dragged in to the drama surrounding Madonna and Alex Rodriguez intentionally.   Lenny didn’t approve and fired Guy.  Lenny says the affair story was planted in retaliation for being fired.  Ouch!  This story can’t get much better, can it?

Why would Oseary pimp out Madonna and A Rod like that?  God knows they don’t need any more money or name recognition!  Was he trying for an affair of Lenny/Cynthia to take the heat off of ARod?

It’s not A-Rod that stepped out on his wife with Madonna, it’s the other way around!  A-Rod’s wife Cynthia has supposedly left him and taken her kids and hooked up with…Lenny Kravitz!?  What?  Sources reveal that Cynthia and Lenny are in Paris – as we speak – canoodling and have been for some time.

And then we have pictures of A-Rod with a blonde stripper three times last year…maybe his wife is getting even?  Their second daughter was only born in April people…let’s hold it together a little bit longer!
