Leona and Chace were actually filming a music video for her. It’s a love song and there was supposed to be kissing, but it got ruled out of the script. From People Magazine:

Singler Leona Lewis was punched in the face at her book signing. Leona set up shop today in London to sign copies of her recently published book, Dreams. As the British songstress greeted fans, one man in his late 20s or early 30s punched Lewis across the face once he made it to her table.

The Sun broke the story and reported that the man had been arrested and she was rushed to a nearby hospital.
