Was it a hit or a miss?

Leona graced the event in a bright blue Diane von Furstenberg sequined wrap dress with a sexy thigh-high slit, which she paired with chunky black pumps. As for her accessories, the “Bleeding Love” singer opted for a pair of large, star-shaped silver earrings and an oval, gem-encrusted cocktail ring.

Unfortunately, the dress looks a bit too baggy on her. She should have tied a belt around her waist to give the dress some shape. Also, she should have gone with strappy sandals, because those chunky pumps make the entire look seem too “heavy.”

However, despite the outfit’s shortcomings, Leona’s hair and makeup was exquisite. She wore her hair curled and swept to one side (sort of an old Hollywood glam look) and opted for bright red lips and dramatic black eyeliner.

Leona Lewis split from her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa back in June. The two were together for a good ten years! They were reportedly living together before the split.

Leona has known him since she was ten! She has a tattoo of Hebrew letters on her left wrist, symbolizing their former relationship. Must have been harsh. First love is always the toughest.

Leona and Lou had said they would make it work, even though they were adjusting to Leona’s new life. Guess not.

Leona Lewis has ended her decade-long relationship with boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa. A source said: “They’ve finally realised that things are not going to be able to progress. Leona’s schedule means she’s in the States a lot when Lou’s in London. Then there’s the fact she’s been totally immersed in preparing for her tour. They’ve barely spend any time together whatsoever.”

Why does Lou have to work? Doesn’t Leona make enough money where he can quit and travel with her? Doesn’t that seem like an obvious solution?

The Mirror reports that Lewis said: “I performed at his birthday party so he may ask me again. I can’t wait to speak to him, I’m shocked. I really didn’t think it was true. But Mezhgan is absolutely lovely,” She added: “I’ve met her a few times when we’ve been in LA and they’re a really nice couple.”

Cowell and rumored finacee Mezhgan Hussainy dined out with friends at the exclusive Cecconi’s restaurant in West Hollywood. Cowell happily posed for photos with fans whilst waiting for his chauffeur to drive around in his Rolls Royce.

Mezhgan appeared to be shy of showing off the massive diamond ring Cowell reportedly gave her on Valentine’s Day, keeping her hand over it outside the restaurant after spotting the paparazzi, then holding hands with Cowell in the back of his Roller.

I have to say she looks gorgeous and they look so happy together!

Simon has once said he doesn’t believe in marriage especially not in his business then again never say never when the right one comes along.

Leona and Chace were actually filming a music video for her. It’s a love song and there was supposed to be kissing, but it got ruled out of the script. From People Magazine:

The singer says she turned down a chance to smooch the Gossip Girl hunk when he appeared in her latest video because she thought it would make her beau, Lou Al-Chamaa, jealous.

“They wanted me and Chace to kiss in the ‘I Will Be’ video. But I said no way,” she tells U.K magazine Sugar.

Awwww. But it’s kind of scary that her boyfirend would be jealous of acting! He isn’t another controlling male, is he? Does he need anger managemnt like Chris Brown? I sure hope not!!

The Sun broke the story and reported that the man had been arrested and she was rushed to a nearby hospital.

“The man queued up patiently, then as soon as she signed his book he smashed her in the face. He didn’t say anything to her and she is at a loss as to why anyone would do such an evil thing.She is devastated as she comes from quite a humble background and loves meeting her fans. She was doing a three-hour signing and planned to sign hundreds of books.”

Lewis was slated to make an appearance later that day on the The One Show at BBC1 but had to pull out. She is also scheduled to perform on London’s X-Factor in a few weeks.
