Since getting kicked off Ugly Betty, Lindsay Lohan is now officially an unemployed actress. As in 100% non-working. As in no different than the hopeful Starbucks barista who serves her and Samantha their daily lattes. That’s the breaks!

As surprising as it may sound, while Lindsay may rule the supermarket check out line and blogosphere, she’s no longer the young, hot commodity. Producers are worried she can’t “carry a movie” like she once could. A “source” said:

In the world of maybe, maybe, maybe (but, actually, most likely) Lindsay Lohan is looking to purchase a 2.5 million “love-nest” for her and Samantha Ronson in the Dakota building in New York City. She’s planning on turning the luxury dwelling into a “hotbed for parties” (everyone fill up their “water bottles” and put on their “coke pants”!) and according to the source has some t-a-c-k-y interior decorating plans.

Lindsay Lohan has landed herself a guest appearance on the ABC’s Ugly Betty finale.  The part sounds like it’d be right up her alley. The Observer’s source has her playing “a fallen beauty queen who takes a gig as the assistant manager of the fast food chain where Betty’s dad toils… Betty befriends Lohan’s character, who has fallen on tough times since high school.” Perhaps this could help Lohan revive her acting career.
