Star news is happy to report that our very own MARIAH CAREY has finally returned to the stage and singing her world-famous tunes.
Decked out in a classy body-hugging black dress, Nick Cannon‘s wife Mariah Carey took the stage for her first post-pregnancy show held inside the Gotham Hall in New York Thursday night. After being spotted belting out in a studio once again,”Butterfly” singer Mimi sang as part of the “Escape to Total Rewards” series along with Maroon 5 who performed in Chicago, Mary J. Blige in New Orleans, and Cee Lo Green with Lil Wayne in Los Angeles.
MARIAH CAREY may be back (and recording!) in the studio, based on the photo that she tweeted early Wednesday.

In the latest star news was Mariah Carey, 41, tweeting another photo of herself in what seems to be a studio where she was probably (still) working on her upcoming album, which only makes us even anxious. And from the looks of the big smile on her face, the dressed down and makeup-free Mimi seemed to be as excited as we are! The new mother of two and wife of comedian Nick Cannon could just be delivering more powerful lyrics about motherhood and married life in her newest studio installment since “Touch My Body” in 2008.
Hollywood celebrity gossip has learned that NICK CANNON has been hospitalized for “mild kidney failure” at a hospital in Aspen, Colorado, where he and wife MARIAH CAREY spent the holidays.
Mariah, who announced the news on her official website, jokes that the roles have been reversed between her and her hubby—Mariah was the one stuck in a hospital bed last year, after giving birth to her and Nick’s beautiful twins, Morroccan and Monroe, and Nick was the one looking after her. Now, it’s the other way around. The superstar diva writes:
