Mariah, who announced the news on her official website, jokes that the roles have been reversed between her and her hubby—Mariah was the one stuck in a hospital bed last year, after giving birth to her and Nick’s beautiful twins, Morroccan and Monroe, and Nick was the one looking after her. Now, it’s the other way around. The superstar diva writes:

“Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.”

She adds:

“We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am [on the] bed with Mr. C.”

Mariah and Nick were celebrating the holidays in Aspen when Nick was struck with mild kidney failure, so the couple is now stuck there while Nick recovers from his sickness. Carey continues:

“We’re doing OK but we’re “straaaaaanded in Aspen”. #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK.”

The mother of two then pleads:

“…it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers.”

What a sad thing to happen during the holidays. Get well soon, Nick!

The pop diva and the baby mama-beleaguered teen sensation did an “All I Want For Christmas Is You” duet for his number one album, “Under The Mistletoe,” but wouldn’t it only add more fuel to the fire of Justin‘s celebrity scandal to have another older woman, also named Mariah, give him come-hither looks he can’t seem to get enough of?

Mariah (Carey, not Yeater) displays her new post-baby body to its every advantage as she stretches against a brick wall and tries to pull an unresisting Justin in with her gaze and skimpily-dressed frame.

Star news thinks that if her red off-shoulder excuse for a Santa suit were any lower, people watching the video filmed at the iconic Macy’s headquarters store in Manhattan would assume it was an XXX-Mas video.

And it’s creepy how 17-year-old  Justin can’t seem to take his eyes off Mariah (Carey, not Yeater), almost as if he were letting the whole world know he really can’t resist older women….a category Mariah (both Carey and Yeater) belong to.

And how is this going to reflect on his alleged baby mama brouhaha whose main proponent, Mariah (Yeater, not Carey), is insisting on another DNA test, this time with her legal representatives present to ensure the proper “chain of command” is followed?

Mariah showed her new form on the cover of US Weekly this week, but apparently she did her research and read last week’s issue, as well, because Kim Kardashian was part of her repertoire during a press conference at the Four Seasons in New York where Mariah was introduced as the new ambassador for Jenny (Craig)…

“I’m a real person, I’m not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood,”

Mariah said about her marriage to Nick Cannon, who considers himself a very lucky guy indeed that his wife‘s gotten her “1990′s body” back.

“Sometimes we make each other mad, that’s why we aren’t divorced after four months,”

she laughed as everyone around her gasped at her blatant insinuation.

“You know, I had a situation in the past where I was controlled, and I was really young, and it affected the way I trusted people. I had no team, besides my dog and my cat. Me and Nick we always joke, I’m an Aries, I need so much attention!”

Was Mariah trying to send a message to Kim right in the middle of her cracks about the reality star’s short-lived marriage?

But then again, Kim Kardashian seems to be the butt of all jokes these days, and as all butts (pun intended) go, this too, shall pass…

The diva made her first public appearance on a talk show since the birth of her babies riding a crescent moon that was lowered unto the stage, diva-style…it didn’t miss the attention of celebrity gossip websites that she was wearing a skin-tight black mini-skirt and cleavage-baring leather jacket to go with her new post-baby body…

It seems Nick Cannon had every right to be excited. Behold his pre-adolescent dreams made flesh!

The 42-year-old first-time mother of twins told Rosie her new body was all the work of a strict diet and exercise, although she did admit the exercise came much, much later due to the C-section she had to birth the twins in April.

“In the beginning, when I first had the babies, I had so much edema … water and swelling. Most pregnant woman have that just in their feet,”

Carey explained.

“One day I was doing my thank-you notes and I noticed it started rising up the leg, so I had edema. … I didn’t think I would ever be the same person.”

But Mariah embarked on her Jenny (Craig) diet where she lost a good portion of the water that was causing the edema.

“The first week, I lost 40 lbs. … of just water. It was just water, initially. When I started with the program, I lost at least 30 lbs. of weight that needed to be lost.”

Still, she admits she carries one “bad” habit to this day: she never weighs herself.

“I never weighed myself. People will think I’m a liar but it’s true. This is another cliché phrase, I’m a big boned girl … I’m tall and so I always weigh more.”

So Mariah goes by dress size instead.

“I would tend to go, ‘Does this size dress fit me that I wore three years ago? I’m good, let’s go.’ I would go by what it looked like, how I felt.”

Hey now, Mariah Carey was able to do it, thereby sending her husband into throes of lust and adoration. Maybe it’s time we get started on that fitness regimen, too.

Let’s compare the above photos, for instance. There’s Mariah in the 90′s. And that’s Mariah before her husband knocked her up. Now you understand why he’s so excited?

We sure don’t blame Nick for being over the moon. His wife was a legend in the 90′s, with a legendary body to boot. No wonder our boy can’t help but jump up and down about his unmitigated luck in turning back the clock.

“You saw how good she looked on 20/20 Special.”

Nick told entertainment news, excitement in his voice as he revealed how Mariah nearly kills herself each day working out to shed the baby weight she gained over and above her already heavyweight frame after giving birth to twins, Monroe and Moroccan in April.

“My family gives me everything. Unconditional love means the world to me. I mean it is a completion. It’s a beautiful place to be.”

And if unconditional love means his wife working like crazy to regain her 1990′s body back, then Nick Cannon is in an absolutely beautiful place, indeed.

“Obviously [she pays attention to her] diet and eating properly.”

Mariah’s on to something here. Because here she is with those dogs again, and this time at night.

“Jogging puppystyle!”

She tweets.

“I personally think she’s going to come out looking better — looking like it’s 1990!”

Cannon‘s gushed about his wife. We bet he’d love Mariah‘s body circa 1990 even more. How old was Nick in 1990, ten? Old enough to fantasize.

“I think that’s what she’s aiming for, and I think she’ll reach that goal.”

And they call it puppy love…

It’s no secret that Mariah believes she can get toned better when surrounded by salty water. She’s told entertainment news it’s her favorite workout…

Mariah sent out on Twitter. Well it’s about time we see Mariah actually exercising instead of clinging to hubby, Nick Cannon all the time. It’s not as if he’s going to escape his holding pen and go AWOL on diaper duty to twins Monroe and Moroccan, or anything…

According to Hollywood gossip websites, Mariah is also demanding a tasteful spread with their two-month old babies. Nothing sleazy, certainly nothing that doesn’t have touches of pink, peach  and butterflies in them. And with the giant price tag Mariah is putting on this first release of their photos as a family, we wonder if any magazine or tabloid will find it a tempting scoop in the midst of the raging U.S. recession.

In fact, daddy Nick Cannon has expressed his discomfort about having to sell pictures of #DemBabies, as Mariah loves to refer to them on Twitter. Still, why get in the way of what #DaWife wants?

Celebrity websites also learned Mariah‘s into Hello Kitty big time, which reflects on the ad’s predominant colors. Is Mariah attempting to replicate Dakota Fanning‘s Marc Jacobs perfume ad where the precocious Twilight star holds a giant phallic perfume bottle between her mini-skirted thighs? Only instead of a rose-topped decanter, Mariah‘s pastel-colored scent has a butterfly at its peak.

Speaking of butterflies, do you remember when Mariah tweeted her butterfly-decorated, heavily pregnant belly? She even did the art herself. Fancy that.

Apparently, Mariah sees herself as some sort of 13-year-old Lolita…you think? We wonder what Nick Cannon as to say about that. Oh right, he doesn’t.

Alas, it appears Carey won’t have her children taken away, afterall. According to several celebrity gossip websites, the songbird has been behaving herself. In fact, it was all a nurse’s fault! As her husband Nick Cannon explains:

“Child Protective Services actually came to me,” Cannon said, “And said that they were here to see me because there had been allegations that there was drug and alcohol use during the stay in the hospital. It all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness, the dark beer, the yeast improves breastfeeding,” Cannon added. “I don’t know if someone heard that [and] were saying my wife was drinking beer. People will do anything to try to conjure up a story.”

Well, Carey does have a boozy reputations. But it’s good to hear she’s changed her ways (at least for now) while caring for her two babies.

You just can’t make this stuff up. Says Cannon:

“Now my wife wanted to make sure that when the babies came out, that they came out not only to a Mariah Carey song, but a live performance from Mariah Carey — her Madison Square performance of ‘Fantasy’ — so they came out to a round of applause.”

Is this just a precursor of the ridiculousness that is to come? I just can’t wait for the millions of wacky things she’ll do with those children. God bless.

NICK CANNON, Mariah’s hubby, went on ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ to shed some light on the whole drama:

“Child protective services were called with allegations that there was some drinking and drugs going on while in the hospital… Which makes no sense – how would a hospital allow that?”

Nick added:

“It all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink a small amount of Guinness the yeast improves breastfeeding. I don’t know if someone overheard that, but then they were saying my wife was drinking beer. People would do anything to conjure up a story.”

Apparently, according to celebrity news sites, the snitch was hoping to get some money by selling Mariah out to a tabloid.

Mariah and Nick were able to smooth things out with child services, but it must have been a stressful experience for both of them, especially with two newborns to care for.

So who’s to blame for this whole fiasco?

So what are the names? For him – Moroccan Scott – and for her – Monroe, after Carey’s idol Marilyn Monroe, of course.

So why Moroccan? Well, as Mariah Carey folklore goes, the top tier of penthouse is called “The Moroccan Room” and this is where Nick Cannon proposed.

So do the babies have nicknames? Apparently, yes.  tweeted: “Roc and Roe! Let’s go!”

Carey gave birth to a boy and girl this past weekend in Los Angeles after a pregnancy that seemed to stretch on forever.

The singer tweeted earlier today in response to the immense fan interest in #dembabies.

“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies! they’re doing great,” she tweeted. “And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined. So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. both begin w/M’s!!!!”

So what do you think? Michelangelo and Magnolia? Magdalena and Marvin? They’re likely to be “festive” with some of her traditional glittery and glam.

“We just had a wedding in the hospital!”

Rev. Sharpton had this to say of the happy couple and their twin bundles of joy:

“Mariah looks great, and the babies are beautiful… I am so moved by the sincere spiritual commitment of Mariah and Nick. They have not let success separate them from God. I am so proud.”

The couple are now mother and father to a baby girl and baby boy. Unfortunately, the couple have yet to name their two new bundles of joy but a hospital worker who talked to the Associated Press say the two arrived at the hospital in a frenzy.

“When they arrived, Berger told the Associated Press, the first-time Dad was so nervous that he went to the wrong unit in the hospital, and had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse. “It was right out of an I Love Lucy skit,” Berger said.

Both rooms are filled with Parents-to-be’s personal touch and plush stuffed animals.

“I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies,” Mariah tells Life & Style “Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities.”

Of course Mariah wanted nothing less than world-class designers and decorators working on her nurseries.

“Designing the LA nursery with Gail Sedigh of AFK Furniture and world-famous decorator Mario Buatta was so challenging because I had such specific ideas I wanted implemented. I feel like I’m bringing two individuals into the world, so I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink.” And daddy Nick Cannon agrees. He wanted the twins’ side-by-side cribs accented with pink and green bedding instead of the traditional pink and blue.

As for Mariah’s favorite part of the twins’ LA nursery?

The cloudscape, star-speckled ceiling. Mariah says sometimes she would just sit in the nursery and stare at the ceiling because she loves it so much. Of course there are butterflies, winged insects, and all the soft plush stuffed animals!

One thing we can expect, Mariah will spoil the babies rotten! Oh and there will be lots of Hello Kitty stuffed toys as well. Hello Kitty is Mariah’s favorite.

Cowell initially shot down reports that the very pregnant Mariah was going to be one of his judges due to her pregnancy but now Cowell is saying otherwise.

“I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows,” Cowell confirmed to radio host Jackie Brown. “I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with. She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits.”

Carey is eight months pregnant; and has recently posed nude for a couple of gossip magazines.

Auditions for the British import are currently underway around the country; the highly aniticipated show will be airing on FOX in September.

This came out a week after a topless and very pregnant Carey was featured on Life & Style cover. So what to expect on the next cover? Nick and Mariah doing a demo of how they make babies?

Hubby Cannon has initially said they plan to decorate their home with these naked photo shoots as the photos were intended to be a way to commemorate Carey’s pregnancy. But now Cannon is a little hesitant having considered the fact that their soon-to-be babies will also have to feast their eyes on their parents’ naked bods.

“It’s a little nasty,” Cannon said on his radio show last week. “I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked?”

But those concerns didn’t stop them..

“It was something we did at home, in our bedroom — one light, nothing big, no hair and makeup…” Cannon told E! Online recently. “And the pictures turned out so beautiful, we’re like, ‘the world should see this.’ “

“I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl — clearly she’s a diva in training! We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!

Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who’ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother’s Day once a week!”
