MARIAH CAREY‘s good name will remain untarnished as Child Protective Services have decided that she isn’t, in fact, a bad mother. Shorty after giving birth to her twins, rumors swirled that she was an unfit mother and boozing it up while breastfeeding. Needless to say, a huge no-no.
Alas, it appears Carey won’t have her children taken away, afterall. According to several celebrity gossip websites, the songbird has been behaving herself. In fact, it was all a nurse’s fault! As her husband Nick Cannon explains:
Oh, that kooky MARIAH CAREY! File this one under hilarious celebrity news. Word from husband NICK CANNON is that wife Mariah insisted that her babies be born to her music. And not just any of her songs, but a hand-picked live performance of a few tunes from her Fantasy album.
You just can’t make this stuff up. Says Cannon:
MARIAH CAREY was reported to child protective services for boozing! The new mother was visited by an official last May 12 after someone called in to report her, claiming that she was drinking alcohol and popping pain pills in the hospital.
NICK CANNON, Mariah’s hubby, went on ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ to shed some light on the whole drama:
“Child protective services were called with allegations that there was some drinking and drugs going on while in the hospital… Which makes no sense – how would a hospital allow that?”
MARIAH CAREY has finally informed the world about what she named her twins. After giving birth on Saturday to fraternal twins, Carey and husband NICK CANNON said they’d tell us all soon their monikers. One hint: the names start with the letter M.
So what are the names? For him – Moroccan Scott – and for her – Monroe, after Carey’s idol Marilyn Monroe, of course.
MARIAH CAREY won’t disclose much about her new twins other than the fact they’re healthy and happy, but we were lucky enough to receive one bit of information: both their names begin with M’s.
Carey gave birth to a boy and girl this past weekend in Los Angeles after a pregnancy that seemed to stretch on forever.
The singer tweeted earlier today in response to the immense fan interest in #dembabies.
MARIAH CAREY and NICK CANNON renewed their wedding vows in a hospital! The day after Mariah gave birth, she and hubby Nick renewed their vows in a hospital ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. Al Sharpton.
Nick took to Twitter to announce their news:
“We just had a wedding in the hospital!”
