Rapper Nas and singer Kelis are getting divorced. Kelis and Nas started dating in 2003 and were married in 2005. Kelis filed for divorce yesterday in Los Angeles. This is particularly unfortunate as Kelis is seven months pregnant with their first child. Nas already has one kid, a daughter Destiny, from a previous relationship.

The New York Daily News says TMZ  broke the story, saying Kelis is “through with Nas.” She cited irreconcilable differences and would like spousal and child support.

Mariah Carey wanted to sit by Michelle Obama at President Obama’s inauguration on Tuesday. Ha!  Actually, she didn’t want to, she thought she actually was going to sit next to the Obama family.  That takes nerve!  Guess what she did next!

Mariah did perform at the Neighborhood ball for the Obama’s, but not the inauguration itself.  That was reserved for the Queen Diva, Aretha Franklin.  From the New York Post:
