10 Worst Celebrity Divorces
In America nearly one half the marriages in recent decades ends in a divorce. In Hollywood, the incidence of divorce is much higher, with the celebrity having been through not one, but many divorces. The cost of divorce is also much higher among those in Tinsel Town. Here is a list of the 10 WORST CELEBRITY DIVORCE settlements in La La Land and, yes, the word “millions” tacked onto the end of the numbers is correct (six zeros!).
MICHAEL DOUGLAS recently revealed that wife CATHERINE ZETA JONES was forced to reveal her bipolar disorder. CZJ shocked the world last week when she covered People magazine and told the magazine about her stay in a mental ward while she recovered from bipolar 2 disorder.
While Jones told the magazine she came out in order to “build awareness” for the disease, her husband tells a different story.
Michael Douglas is Cancer Free
Michael Douglas has beaten his throat cancer! The 66-year-old Oscar-winning actor made the declaration during a morning talk show interview, saying the tumor at the base of his tongue is now gone after it was first detected six months ago!
After intense treatments of radiation and chemotherapy, Douglas lost 32 pounds during these last six months but has gained back 12. He’s got another 20 – 25 pounds to go. Hey Douglas, I can spare about 7 -8 pounds easliy!
Michael Douglas Looking Frail
Michael Douglas was out in New York, even though he looked frail. Michael has dropped a lot of weight but seemed in good spirits when he was caught out walking in the city. Being able to walk and even smiling surely is a good sign for Michael’s health.
Michael is still getting treatments for throat cancer. He has lost weight, but that’s probably to be epected any time you can hardly eat. From People Magazine:
Michael Douglas will complete his throat cancer treatment this week with his last treatment scheduled for this Friday. After eight rough weeks of chemotherapy and radiation for Stage 4 cancer, the fighting champ is glad that it’ll soon be over.
Douglas’ long-term friend and publicist Allen Burry says there are no further treatments being scheduled.
Douglas’ recovery is expected to take another six weeks after which he’ll have periodic check-ups.
Michael Douglas wants to spend a year travelling the world if he successfully battles cancer. Douglas, the ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ actor – who is currently undergoing treatment after doctors found a tumour in his throat.
Douglas says contracting the disease made him even more appreciative of his family and he wants to spend as much quality time with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and their children Dylan, 10, and seven-year-old Carys as possible.
