Wait… are we still on this? Really?

Though praised by most of the show’s mainstay cast, Lindsay was widely bashed by critics—and the rest of the viewing public—for her not-so-great guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in March, for which she gave a very flat performance. Lindsay was constantly forgetting her lines and looking over (very obviously) at the teleprompter, and at times failed to look directly at her co-stars while exchanging lines with them during a skit.

Her dad Michael, who once called her a “drug addict” and said she needed to go to rehab, offered up a drug-related explanation: prescription pills.

Papa Lohan tells Celebrity VIP Lounge:

“Lindsay was not using any illicit drugs or drinking, but is still on the prescription drugs that they gave her… And the meds that they give her are meds that they say she needs, but she doesn’t need them. But they kind of make her flat. She’s not acting at a full potential. It’s like the screen is down over her.”

But Michael reveals that Lindsay definitely went off the pills for her recent guesting on “Glee,” which received mixed reviews from critics.

Michael shares:

“And now when she did Glee I said, ‘Linds, get off the damn medication and let people see who you really are.’ And for a couple days before Glee, she went off this stuff. And there were tears in my eyes when I watched Glee. THAT was Lindsay.”

He adds:

“Yeah that was her acting. That is Lindsay Lohan at the Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls potential. That is what she was.”

Really? Lindsay‘s appearance on “Glee” was definitely better than her “SNL” stint, but we really don’t think it’s up there with “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday.”

Michael Lohan backs his daughter up again and slams Rosie O’Donnell following her recent blast about his daughter’s alleged inability to portray and do justice to Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor in a biopic titled “Liz & Dick,” especially after his troubled daughter’s past is not exactly that far behind her yet.

Lindsay‘s dad insists that the menopausal Rosie is in no position to judge her daughter, especially after her own shortcomings—such as her getting fired off Oprah Winfrey‘s network—have hit celebrity news just like his daughter’s own problems have.

Michael told TMZ:

“Who the hell is Rosie O’Donnell to judge anyone, especially Lindsay, who has far more talent than Rosie ever had?”

He continued on about the 50-year-old star:

“Lindsay‘s talent isn’t limited to being a comedian or getting notoriety for adopting and raising a bunch of kids. Sure, [Lindsay] has her pitfalls, but she is 25, and how old is Rosie?”

Lindsay‘s protective—and apparently religious—father added:

“Two failed talk shows, a failed marriage, etc … He/she who is without sin. May they cast the first stone.”

We don’t exactly think that Michael is in any position to judge anyone else either for his fair share of newsmaking, but we totally understand where he’s coming from. He’s Lindsay‘s father, after all…

According to recent star news, Lindsay Lohan‘s estranged father Michael says she should not only be forgiven by the courts but also by God Himself. This may have just been what he picked up from rehab because “Father Lohan” was never one to have a well-discerned opinion about his notorious daughter, who seemed to have picked up after her parents on the headline-making jail and rehab stints.

Lohan says on repentance:

“People can make things right with a judge but that doesn’t mean they can make it right with God. On the other hand, judges don’t always pass the right judgment themselves. God is the ultimate judge, and he judges us based upon what he sees and knows — not man! I think we all know that all too well. For those who don’t, I feel sorry for them.”

He continued:

“I’ve been there myself and Lindsay is there now. We all sit in God’s cross hairs, while standing at each crossroad of our life. We have a choice to make and then God will be — and is — the ultimate judge. I’m not worried about Lindsay drinking or doing drugs. I’m still concerned about her because of any prescription medication doctors might have her on. She never needed them before, especially when she was at her best, so why does she need them now? It appears that she is on the right path, and if she gets on the right path with God, he will hold the final gavel for her.”

Shocking.

Lindsay, whose probation is almost at an end, is currently trying to avoid trouble by putting herself on voluntary house arrest… but it seems trouble will go to any lengths to find her, no matter how much she avoids it.

Lindsay’s latest problem? A male porn star called Alex Torres, who recently claimed that he had sex with Lindsay while her dad, Michael Lohan, was in the same house.

Torres, who uses the porn star name Voodoo, did an interview on The Jim Richards Show on Newstalk 1010 in Toronto over the weekend, and it was then that he revealed his nasty romp with Lindsay.

After revealing that his next guest was going to be Michael Lohan, host Jim Richards asked Torres if he had any suggestions about what to ask him.

Torres replied:

“Ask him [Michael Lohan] if he knows about that night I had with his daughter while he was sleeping upstairs.”

To clarify, Richards asked:

“So you’ve been with Lindsay Lohan?”

Torres said:

“I’m saying that.”

The adult film star added:

“Many of these Hollywood celebrities pay me a high price dollar to come and satisfy them. I’m not joking!”

Whoa.

Sounds like a Lohan girl, indeed.

MICHAEL LOHAN‘s equally problematic and attention-seeking ex-girlfriend KATE MAJOR has been charged with three counts of battery, one count of resisting arrest and another of disorderly intoxication (3 misdemeanors!) after she was arrested last January 14 for harassing a Latino couple with racist nicknames and a cop with some drunken tongue-lashing. Major is currently facing four whole years in the slammer if convicted. No wonder Lohan had a hard time with her, she probably reminded him of his own little troublemaker.

You’d think that after being arrested—again—she’d start being a good girl in the eyes of her arresting officers but she also apparently called one of them a “fat f*ck.”

Here’s to hoping that she does get behind those bars because we’re all done hearing about her!

The 51-year-old Lothario, who’s currently in legal trouble for a domestic violence case filed against him by ex-girlfriend Kate Major, was attending court-sanctioned AA meetings when he suddenly collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital – the third time for Lohan in the last quarter of 2011, having injured his foot after jumping from a hotel balcony to evade the police in October, and having had surgery to unclog a blocked artery in his heart this month…

“Michael started to feel light headed during his meeting so he walked outside, and that’s when he collapsed,”

a source told RadarOnline.

“He was taken in an ambulance to Palm Beach Gardens Hospital where doctors found another blood clot in his lung.”

Lohan was subjected to CAT scans and an MRI to make sure the clot hadn’t spread to his brain.

“Michael‘s still waiting on the test results and we’re not sure when he’ll be released from the hospital,”

the source continued.

And when he’s given an all-clear, he’ll have to return to the 120-day rehab stint in Florida as ordered by the court.

Looks like the New Year isn’t looking up for Michael Lohan at all. Let’s hope his daughter does better…

Oh, wait…it’s Michael Lohan. Why are we even surprised?

The ex-con dad, who was recently arrested for domestic violence against ex-girlfriend Kate Major, then arrested again as he tried to escape police by jumping from a hotel balcony, says he’s actually happy for his daughter, fellow recidivist, Lindsay, for taking off her clothes to pose naked for Playboy…

“If she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it,”

Lohan Senior told Dr. Drew Pinsky on an episode of his daytime LCTV show, “Lifechangers.”

“I haven’t seen it and I never look at it, any of it,”

he claimed, just before a life-size photo of his daughter on the recent Playboy cover flashed on-screen in the studio.

“There she is. Do I have to close my eyes?”

He joked.

“It’s a move in a direction where she’s working… so as far as I’m concerned it’s a good move.”

So he thinks a likely career path posing naked in girlie magazines is a good move for Lindsay?

Oh, wait…again, it’s Michael Lohan. We really shouldn’t be surprised.

At least he has some good words to say (skewed as they are) about his daughter now that’s its Christmas…

Now we see where LiLo gets her disregard for the law from.

Michael was arrested earlier this week for domestic violence charges after he physically and verbally attacked his ex-girlfriend Kate Major. Twelve hours after he was released, celebrity gossip websites found out that he was back in the slammer.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad was ordered by a judge to stay away from Kate. The judge had warned:

“If you even dream about [Major] and you violate my order, you will go to jail.”

However, after experiencing a few hours of freedom, Michael called Kate and began harassing her—again. That same day, the police came over to the Tampa motel where he had been staying to haul him in.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Apparently Michael was so desperate to avoid getting arrested that he jumped off a third-floor balcony—which was 34 feet off the ground—and then ran for cover behind some trees. Obviously the cops were able to catch him, and he was thrown back in jail.

Seriously? Jumping off a balcony (in full view of the police) was his big escape plan?

According to the police report, Michael came over to Kate’s house and, after a heated argument over sex, got violent and began shoving her around and squeezing her arms. He even started threatening her. TMZ reports:

“[Michael told Kate that he was going to] slit both his wrist and her wrist. He also threatened to throw her off the balcony (4th floor).”

Kate also claimed that he threw the TV’s remote at her and smashed her phone. The main reason for the violence, according to the police report, was sex. The report said:

“[Kate Major] did not want Michael to ejaculate inside her. Michael Lohan stated he did ejaculate in her and his girlfriend got very angry.”

When the cops arrived, Michael began complaining of chest pains so they had to take him to the hospital. Afterwards, they arrested him for domestic violence.

Michael told the police that he and his ex were supposed to go to court to drop the restraining order she previously filed against him (due to prior abusive attacks)… but it looks like that’s not gonna happen anymore.

Jeez, Michael. And you wonder why your daughter Lindsay is having such a hard time straightening her life out.

Michael spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com and said:

“She’s an addict, she doesn’t care and she’s in denial.”

In a separate interview during a recent TV appearance, Michael talked about Lindsay‘s decaying teeth and said:

“She’s smoking either crack or meth, either one or the other. I’m not going to shade it.”

Michael added:

“I want her in a treatment program for a year. Nothing is going to change in her life.  She’s going to be appearing before judges in the future if she doesn’t get help, instead of doing community service in the morgue she’s going to wind up in the morgue!”

In addition to treatment, Michael thinks Lindsay should get rid of all the people around her who are content to just sit by and watch as she destroys her life with drugs and alcohol. He explained:

“Lindsay needs to get rid of the enablers and have a sober coach around her who holds her responsible for her actions.”

Michael is completely convinced that Lindsay, whose probation was revoked by the judge due to her failure to comply with the judge’s orders, needs to go to rehab if she wants to get her life together. He said:

“My number one priority is making sure Lindsay goes into treatment so she can get off the medication she’s on.”

Sources say she actually went so far as to hide in a closet when Michael intrusively banged on the front door. Wonder if he had his Celebrity Rehab cameras in tow?

“Michael Lohan was reportedly banging on Lindsay’s front door before sneaking around back to peak into her windows. The troubled starlet was inside her apartment, trying to lie low, while her father attempted to break-in.”

Thankfully, Lohan got discouraged and finally scampered away.

Michael was picked up in Beverly Hills after his girlfriend had visible marks on her body. She made the call to police herself after Michael left their home.

Law enforcement sources tell us … Lohan’s girlfriend filed a report with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department between 9:30 and 10:00 PM tonight … claiming they got into an argument that turned physical … and she had some visible marking from the alleged incident.

Cops went out and tracked down Lohan — and arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Lohan will be charged with domestic violence, false imprisonment, preventing the reporting of victimization.

False imprisonment? What in the world was Michael doing? And who in their right mind would date this man with his record?

Lohan told his favorite website RadarOnline.com that he really hopes Dr. Drew will escort him to Lindsay’s next court date – with the camera crew of course.

“Dr. Drew will take me, I hope,” he said when asked if he was going to be there for his daughter. Michael is planning to have the Celebrity Rehab cameras follow him to the court, but they will stay outside the courtroom during the hearing.”

His official statement:

“I am at Celebrity Rehab and participating in the show to deal with the issues of codependency, to stop getting involved with and living through people who have addictions, who exhibit negative behavior and to avoid living vicariously thru them,” Lohan wrote. “I am looking to give my life the balance.”

Give his life balance?! Honestly, it seems Michael Lohan‘s biggest addiction is the media, so Celebrity Rehab is hurting, not helping, that one.

Lindsay has supposedly come out with a statement saying she is shocked over the decision her dad made.

Lindsay Lohan is flipping pissed at her dad Michael Lohan for agreeing to be on ‘Celebrity Rehab’ and is slamming him in the press.

Lindsay and Michael were just starting to make amends recently and working on their relationship, but after Lindsay heard he agreed to be on Dr. Drew’s reality show, she went nuts!

Why would Lindsay care what her dad does if she gets help? He’s getting help so she should be grateful he is making steps to recovery for himself.

Except Lindsay had no desire to appear on the show. Whoops, Michael – it may have behooved you to check with her first. After the news leaked to the media, the show released this statement:

“Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday’s LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, as had been previously announced. We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future.”

Oh, Michael. Everything good he does just turns to rubbish.

Mommy Dina and the family are coming to California from the east coast to visit LiLo over the holidays as for daddy Lohan? He ain’t invited.

Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ.com, Dina’s hauling the little Lohans – Ali, Michael, and Cody – out from Long Island to visit for a couple days next week.

Lindsay had originally wanted to fly back east but sources tell TMZ that the L.A. County Probation Department wasn’t so understanding.
