Celebrity news is happy for the two, but won’t this pregnancy derail the “Lizzie McGuire” star’s career even further? It’s not as if she’s been working constantly these days, but having a baby will push her further back under the radar in publicity-hungry Hollywood…

Unless of course Hilary decides to star in a reality show documenting each phase of her pregnancy, including morning sickness, food cravings, hemorrhoids, ginormous weight gain, and bloated feet. And then have her labor pains and birth caught on film, as well. Won’t that be something…we don’t think that’s ever been done on reality TV before – nine whole months of publicity up for grabs.

Still, knowing Mike Comrie, we don’t think that’s going to happen. Let’s just congratulate the pair and step back for the next 9 months, and maybe they’ll eventually emerge in the public eye with a birth announcement and a bizarre celebrity name for their little bub…

“They weren’t actively trying to conceive but agreed that if it happened, it happened,” her close friend tells Star exclusively.

Hilary married Mike, the Pittsburgh Penguins center in Santa Barbara last August. Her first book, Elixir, made it to the New York Times Best-Seller List.

Mike comes from a very big family and Hilary has recently said they are very excitied about having their own little ones.

Legal documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ.com, state the finance company has tried to repossess the car but the 30-year-old sportsman has “refused to allow Plaintiff possession”.

The finance company is now demanding Mike pay off the $103,398.57 owed on the contract as well as extra costs incurred.

Pittsburgh Penguins player Mike is yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Hilary is selling her Beverly Hills mansion for double the price she paid for it.

The 22-year-old star’s six-bedroom property on Toluca Lake is on the market for $7 million.

The secure property – which cost her $3.5 million in March 2004 – covers 9,800 ft and features a wet bar, a cognac room, a wine cellar, a gym and gift-wrapping room.

In addition, the property also comes with a free eight-seater electric boat.

Currently Hilary is living in Los Angeles for work, while Mike is based in Pittsburgh for his ice hockey career and the pair are commuting to see each other every week.

However, Hilary has no plans to relocate to Pittsburgh permanently.

When recently asked if she would be moving to the US east coast city, she said: “I’m not, no, I’m not moving to Pittsburgh but I’m sure I’m going to be there a lot.

“I have such a busy life in Los Angeles and four dogs and my family’s there and my work. I’ll be doing a lot of commuting I’m sure.”

And Hilary JUST had her birthday, like two days ago. Why not leave the poor girl alone and let her ovaries develop some more.

The actress / singer said, who has a guest role on the comedy as a mean girl, said she is still adjusting to being away from her husband, who plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

“Now he’s gone and I’m like, ‘No, you left me too soon! What’s happening?’ That kind of sucks, ” she explained. “But, we’re used to that long distance thing and we’re going to figure it out. It means a lot of traveling for me this year, but that’s OK.”

The distance and their busy careers will also keep the couple form expanding their family – at least for now.

“Obviously we’re really excited to have kids in the future, but not anytime soon,” she explained. “I still want to work and still feel really driven.”

Do you think they will have a baby sooner, rather than later? I bet they do and Hilary stops acting for a bit. When do you think she should have a baby?

Newly-wed Hilary Duff has been spotted with a new hair color. Leaving Byron & Tracey hair salon in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday, August 19, the 22-year-old songstress, who wed ice hockey star Mike Comrie on August 14, dyed her hair to an orange brown color.

So did they even get a honeymoon? Maybe it was cut off by a practice schedule for him, since hockey season isn’t too far away. Do you like Hilary’s new hair color? I think it looks more natural with her skin tone.

An insider says, “It was a totally amicable agreement. They love each other very much and knew this was just a technicality.”

We all know Duff made her fortune being an actress; as for Comrie, he’s the heir to a fortune! Comrie’s father, Bill, is the founder of “The Brick”, the furniture giant in Edmonton. Bill’s net worth has been estimated to be as high as $500 million. Comrie’s NHL nickname, “The Brick,” comes from the family business.

Now that explains the $1 million engagement ring and a birthday gift of a 100 grand Mercedes among the many many expensive gifts he’s showered her with.

A source estimated, The Saturday ceremony “was out of a storybook, costing well over half a million dollars.”

Sources say Duff struck a deal with OK! Magazine for exclusive coverage of her wedding in a pact worth around $1 million.

Money, money, money where is the love without the money? Seriously people say money isn’t everything.. I say without it, it breaks relationships and with it, everyone is happier, agree?

A source says, “Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy.”

Duff, 22 and Mike, 29, the Canadian NHL player began dating in 2007; they first met on a trip in a resort in Idaho, they were on the same plane together.

Duff says, “We were all on the same plane and it was kind of, I guess, maybe a bit of a fluke. She calls it ironic. No I’m kidding!” Mike told Hockey Night in Canada in back in October. “It [was] one of those things where we were all in a group … we spent the weekend all hanging out.”

Comrie popped the question during a Hawaiian vacation last February.

Duff said, “I’ve never met anyone who can say a bad word about him,” “He’s generous, caring and sunny. We just laugh our heads off.”

Congratulations to the newlyweds! They make a perfect couple, don’t they?

Mike got on his bended knees and proposed and Duff said “YES”. Congratulations to the happy couple! And happier is how generous her man of over two years has always treated her! Mike gave her a shiny 14-carat princess-cut diamond engagement ring which costs a cool $1 million! Comrie has been known to shower Hilary with expensive gifts. On her 20th birthday, Comrie gave Duff a $100 k Mercedes Benz.

 And now, Mike is reportedly looking at a $10 million Beverly Hills home to move into with his future wife.

Mike is from Edmonton, Alberta Canada; he’s 29 and he currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers in NHL.

Snapshots caught Mike on bended knee proposing to Hilary while they vacationed. There’s been no word on either side when and where the two plan on tying the knot.

As reports by Just Jared: Hilary says Mike Comrie is in his hockey off-season, he’ll be around more to support her. She said, “He plays hockey in Ottawa, so he’s in town for the summer…so he’s gotta show up for all my stuff now since I’m constantly going to visit him. He’s a good sport about all of it, and he’s great. I’m happy to have him back!”

We’re happy to see Hilary feeling happy despite her walking around the neighborhood in pj! We love you Lizzie Mcguire.

 Well, there are others but they are sort of rare breeds in La La Land. Looks like Duff & Comrie are getting pretty serious. She goes everywhere with him. Good for them perhaps we will hear another wedding news soon?
