“iCarly” actress and singer MIRANDA COSGROVE broke her ankle when her tour bus collided with a tractor and crashed this morning en route to a concert in Wichita, Kansas. Granted, it’s in farm country and all, but what idiot bus driver would try to challenge a tractor head on? Where did he think he was? In a monster truck rally?
Celebrity news says the teenaged Nickelodeon star had to cancel a series of concerts all over the Midwest on account of her busted ankle. Miranda‘s rep has said:

PETA is taking a stand against a Nickelodeon kids show. They posted on their website about a show called Merry Christmas Drake & Josh, that used a chimpanzee. And you don’t ever want PETA mad at you….so what will the kids cartoon giant say?

PETA posted a long letter urging supporters to let Nickelodeon know they weren’t pleased. The TV show in question stars Drake Bell and Josh Peck, and Miranda Cosgrove – all very big tween names. This is what they say on their website:
