Mischa Barton has finally opened up about her brief hospital stint this summer. For those of you who don’t remember (all 5 of you), Mischa was taken from her Los Angeles home and plopped in a psych ward at the end of July. It was rumored she may have to drop out of her knew CW show, Beautiful Life, which would’ve been horrible. Ladies and Gentleman, Mischa hasn’t worked in eons. This show was a much needed meal ticket.

Mischa Barton is heading back to work. “Work” meaning a role on the CW show “The Beautiful Life” which she starts filming this Friday. The jury’s still out on what was exactly ailing Barton. She was “removed” from her Los Angeles home on July 15th and stayed in the hospital until today.

However it appears the mystery illness has cleared up. Mischa is slated to play an aspiring model attempting to make it in fast paced world of New York City fashion modeling.

Mischa Barton promotes herself and her headbands for the spring.  Mischa’s headband collection is…cheap looking.  I bet a group of junior high girls could create the same look for a lot, lot less money than what Mischa did.  And they would probably look better too.

Mischa must think she is a fashionista, even though her name repeatedly turns up on the worst dressed lists.   She talks to People Magazine about her upcoming lineup with a straight face.

Mischa Barton has just joined the cast of Ashton Kutcher’s new show A Beautiful Life. A Beautiful Life is about a group of struggling models living together and trying to carve out their own catwalk in New York City. Mischa will play the part of Sonja a struggling “supermodel” attempting to stay on top of the pack. OK. She’s a “supermodel” but needs to live in co-ed housing? Tell that to Gisele Bundchen.
