Celebrity news tells us that ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star NEIL PATRICK HARRIS is reportedly set to marry boyfriend DAVID BURTKA in New York, where same-sex marriage has just been legalized. The couple claims they have been engaged for years, and all they needed was the passage of marriage equality.
Neil and David recently became the proud fathers of beautiful twin babies, and now, with the passage of same-sex marriage in New York, their happiness is complete. Neil tweeted:
Neil Patrick Harris and his boyfriend are going to be fathers this Fall. The actor formerly known as Doogie Houser and his man of a few years, David Burtka, have hired a surrogate to have twin babies this October. Wow – can you imagine being Neil Patrick Harris‘s surrogate? I wonder what that screening process was like.

Neil Patrick Harris catches on fire during the rehearsal for a stunt this weekend. The stunt is part of an act for TV Land awards show, to be aired on Sunday night. Neil is the host of the show, which honors old and new shows for their excellence.
