NICK CARTER Didn’t Attend Sister LESLIE’s Funeral Because His Family Didn’t Tell Him About It
According to the latest Hollywood celebrity gossip, NICK CARTER says he wasn’t able to attend his sister LESLIE‘s funeral because his family didn’t tell him about it.
Nick’s sister, Leslie, who passed away last week due to a suspected drug overdose, was laid to rest on Sunday during a small ceremony in New York.
Unfortunately, Nick wasn’t there.
The Backstreet Boy, who was performing at a concert at the time of Leslie’s funeral, tells TMZ:
Backstreet Boy NICK CARTER‘S sister, LESLIE died of a drug overdose, a police report revealed. The 25-year-old was earlier reported to have passed away in Upstate New York due to “unexplained circumstances,” and now we have the reason why.
Leslie was an aspiring singer who performed “Like Wow” for the 2001 “Shrek” soundtrack. According to the police summary, she had a a long history of mental illness and was on medication for depression. She was discovered “asleep on her bed and not breathing” by her stepmother, Ginger Carter, who called 911 from their Mayville, New York home Tuesday…

Nick and his family have reportedly been blindsided by his younger sister’s death. Leslie, 25, an aspiring singer, wife and mom, passed away due to unknown causes in upstate New York. Nick, who’s due to perform in Irving Plaza, New York, has chosen not to cancel the tour, but will instead dedicate it to his sister’s memory…
Nick Carter recently revealed to People magazine his journey with drug and alcohol addiction. Nick told the magazine he spent nearly a decade abusing alcohol and doing copious amounts of cocaine. At one point his weight ballooned to 224 pounds but there was nothing he could do to stop all the partying. His big wake up call was last spring while on tour and he experienced chest pains and fatigue.
