VANESSA MINNILLO now wants people to call her VANESSA LACHEY! Star news has learned that the former beauty queen, who married hubby NICK LACHEY in July, has changed her name on both her Twitter account and her Wikipedia page.
Vanessa and Nick tied the knot on July 15 after dating for almost five years, and in a rare Hollywood move, the gorgeous TV personality took her hubby’s surname.
Yesterday, Vanessa tweeted:

Vanessa recently married Nick Lachey, her boyfriend of four years, in a beautiful, intimate ceremony on Necker Island. Most of their closest friends and family were there, but one person was noticeably absent—the mother of the bride.
Vanessa’s estranged mom, Helen Bondoc, hasn’t seen her daughter in over two decades. She was also not invited to her daughter’s wedding. In an interview with Star magazine, Helen reveals:

According to the latest celebrity news, Nick and Vanessa said “I do” yesterday in a beautiful ceremony atop a cliff on Necker Island. Although they only invited their closest friends and family, they allowed reality cameras to document the wedding for a TLC special entitled ‘Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding.’
When asked about their decision to air the wedding on TV, Nick admits:

He has to. After he’s been shackled with the proverbial ball and chain that will be marriage to Vanessa Minillo, both of them will eventually fade into obscurity. Until they decide to go all out in a messy divorce afterwards, that is. (Of course we certainly hope not)
