NICK LACHEY talks about having kids with his fiancée, VANESSA MINNILLO: “the pressure is on me!” Is Vanessa pressuring him to have kids right away?
Actually, no. Nick isn’t being pressured by his wife-to-be, but he’s feeling it anyway. In an interview with Parade magazine, Nick shared:
“I’d like to be a dad sooner than later… I’m getting up there. I’ve gotta catch up with my brother. [Drew's] got two and I’ve got zero, so the pressure is on me!”
With their wedding date drawing closer, NICK LACHEY and VANESSA MINILLO threw themselves an alcohol-soaked wedding shower where they got rip roaring drunk toasting their relative anonymity in tinsel town.
Entertainment news got a peek into their boozy rooftop bash at the London Hotel in L.A. where Nick‘s brother, singer/actor Drew Lachey, and Houston Texans footie Matt Leinart were the only two other remotely famous faces there.
Vanessa Minnillo shot down the rumors that she and Nick Lachey are getting married on New Years in Italy. Yesterday, Lachey joked to Racheal Ray that he and Vanessa may very well tie the knot in Tuscany, and the future Mrs. has said this is NOT happening.
Instead, she and Lachey want to enjoy a long, relaxing engagement.
Let the Nick Lachey/Jessica Simpson wedding race begin! After getting engaged within a week of one another (ironically almost exactly five years after their highly public divorce), Lachey hinted that he may get married on New Years while vacationing with Vanessa Minnillo inTuscany.

Nick told US Magazine earlier today during a conference call for his NBC show “The Sing-Off”, “I will say the same thing I always say: I wish her the very best.”
