Nicollette Sheridan Suing Desperate Housewives for $20 Million

Nicollette Sheridan suing Desperate Housewives Creator Marc Cherry for $20 million dollars. Nicollette claims abuse on the set of the show and that she was wrongfully terminated. I thought she wanted to leave the show?

Nicollette seems to have a diva tendency just by looking at her, what do you think? From People Magazine:

Sheridan, whose character was killed off the show last year, is suing for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She claims series creator Marc Cherry created a hostile work environment, “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner.”

Ouch! $20 million? She also says:

Nicollette Sheridan alleges the show’s creator hit her in the face on the set and that she was then fired in retaliation for complaining about him, “resulting in her losing millions in future earnings,” says the suit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Nicollette Sheridan Calls ‘Desperate Housewives’ Boring

Nicollete Sheridan called Desperate Housewives boring and is not at all sad she left the series earlier this year. Nicollette‘s character Edie was killed off the show, and while at the time it seemed like Nicollette was done with Desperate Housewives, we come to find out she was told she would no longer be a regular on the show.

She told usmagazine.com that creator Marc Cherry just didn’t like the character of Edie Britt:

[Killing off Edie] was a risky decision that could have devastating ramifications,” she warns creator Marc Cherry. But, she adds, “Somebody up there really wanted her dead. I think whoever Edie represented in Marc‘s life was somebody he didn’t like. And he had a very difficult time distinguishing between fact and fiction.”

Nicollette also complained that Cherry ignored her, and he replied that Edie had slept with all the men anyway, so it was an economic decision:

“There has been tremendous pressure put on me to cut costs … the network is saying to all the shows, ‘The company is really hurting financially. You must find a way to produce these shows more cheaply,’” Marc says.

Nicollette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives. A rumor leaked to E!’s Marc Malkin that she told the girls, writers and directors during their 2 p.m. table read. No word on what project she’s working on where she’s going after she shoots her last scene with DH, but, snitches working behind the scenes think they know how the writers will kill off Edie.

According to E!’s Marc Malkin via a source on set:

[Nicollette said] Bye, it was really nice working with everybody. It’s been terrific and a real honor. Then.. all said, ‘Bye,’ and she said, ‘I have a scene to go do, so let me go study that.’ And that was that. Totally professional. [They plan to kill her off with] an accident…At the very end of [the latest script], she falls to the ground and there’s a loose finger…I’m reading [the script] thinking, Wait a minute—does this mean what I think it means?”

Well, guess this spells the end of the road for Wisteria Lane’s Edie Britt! It’s been nice knowing ya Edie!

David Spade and Nicollette Sheridan Make Out in Public

David Spade and Nicollette Sheridan made out like teenagers in a restaurant over the weekend. Yeah, gross I know. But the most puzzling aspect of all this is how does David keep landing super hot women? He’s not hot, he doesn’t have a great body and he isn’t tall! Why??

OK! Magazine says the two locked lips at Nicollette’s birthday bash.

The duo arrived separately and even started the dinner at separate booths but couldn’t resist each other for long! According to witnesses, Spade winked at Sheridan and stood at her side while she blew out the candles on her cake. After that, the two retreated to a booth where they cuddled and kissed.

He lands Heather Locklear for awhile, he gets Playboy women pregnant and now Nicollette. I don’t get it. And it’s not because he’s funny, because he’s not. Really. What do you think his attraction is?

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton’s on again, off-again love affair is off again. They have broken off their engagement after two years….

….for the second time. E! Online says the pair dated in the early 90s, beginning in 1992 and lasting until 1997. They broke up an engagement than and didn’t start dating again until 2005, when Nicollette broke up with yet another fiance! It seems Nicollette can get engaged, but never married. Is there a diva problem at play here?

Nicollette was briefly married to actor Harry Hamlin, from 1991 until 1993. He later went on to marry Lisa Rinna and are still together.

No reason why the current beau and Nicollette broke up, but I guess more details will emerge soon enough. Why do you think they did?

Nicollette Sheridan, the Desperate Housewives star is still smoking hot in her bikini at 44. Sheridan was seen down a Carribean beach in St. Barts with her fiance, Michael Bolton, 54. They look equally toned & fantastic together!

Looking good, don’t you want to be this fit as you grow older? Is probably way easier to stay fit when you’re in your twenties but it gets tougher and tougher over time.
