Don’t you miss seeing them together?

With the 8th season of “House” wrapping up after its finale episode on May 21, Kal Penn reminisces with an old photo of him as Dr. Lawrence Kutner with co-stars Olivia Wilde as the former Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley and Peter Jacobson as Dr. Chris Taub, all scrubbed and ready to shoot.

Penn, who was casted off after his character committed suicide, tweeted with the accompanying photo:

“So, @SaraHess sent me this pic last night and it made me happy. From back in the day on #House! Cc: @oliviawilde“

And “back in the days” it will not be on the top secret series finale as he and Wilde will be returning to the set as part of House’s army of doctors—probably as a flashback or something, considering that Penn‘s character is supposed to be extinct…

Hit or miss?

The gorgeous actress was practically unrecognizable in her newly dyed blonde hair, which actually worked well with her short-sleeved, leopard print maxi dress from the Yigal Azrouël Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

Wilde accessorized with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch, gold Ippolita hoop earrings, and gold bangles.

A simple updo and nude lips completed the look.

It’s a nice enough outfit, but we can’t help but wish for a bit of skin exposure here and there.

Olivia’s 28 years old, after all… she shouldn’t be dressing like she’s 40!

Do you love it or do you hate it?

It seems Olivia has a tendency to veer towards shapeless, billowy dresses that sadly hide her super hot figure.

What a shame.

Olivia paired the Carolina Herrera gown, which features sparkling embellishments and sheer genie-esque sleeves, with a black Jimmy Choo clutch and simple, chunky black pumps.

Frankly, this dress looked so matronly on her… and the accessories didn’t help one bit.

Olivia completed the look with a simple updo and natural makeup.

A spakly silver clutch, silver strappy sandals, and a more youthful—yet elegant—hairstyle could have salvaged this look.

Prepare for a massive increase in Youtube loop videos!

On February 27, the British GQ Youtube channel posted a promo video for their Comedy Issue for April 2012 that showed a very dressed down and relaxed Olivia Wilde in a white undershirt jiggling her boobs right before several acclaimed “world’s top funnymen” perform a collective beatbox.

For someone who doesn’t like stealing the spotlight, her humble breasts (which suddenly looked twice as big in the video) may have done the trick in getting British GQ the attention that they needed!

The viral video, which is possibly only half as funny as the issue that it wishes to promote, commemorates the magazine’s Comedy Special which can be downloaded for £2.49 (free for existing print subscribers) from iTunes starting March 1.

The issue shows comedians Owen Wilson, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Paul Rudd, a David Walliams in modelling class and Rob Brydon, Ricky Gervais and Jackie Mason sharing their favorite jokes.

Considering they left out so many other more widely known comedians, our fingers are crossed in the hopes of the issue not being outdone by Olivia‘s 3-second live show!

Yes, she should. But unlike the rest of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces, Olivia simply doesn’t want to take on lead roles.

She tells Angeleno magazine:

“Some people think I’m stupid for taking so many supporting and smaller roles, but I love it.”

She explains:

“It reminds me of being in a company of actors, where you might be playing Lady Macbeth in one play and a nameless girl in another; you learn so much.”

However, despite her reluctance to step out of her “supporting actress” rut, Olivia is not a reluctant actor. In fact, she’s wanted to be an actress ever since she was a kid! The “Butter” star admits:

“I lived in my head, I had a very active imagination, I could play alone in my room for hours and see whole movies in my head. This blurring of the line between reality and fantasy is something I think all kids have, and I was very lucky because my parents encouraged it.”

Olivia adds:

“‘I think we have an actress on our hands’ was something I heard very early, most often from my parents’ friends and extended family. It was probably not said as a compliment.”

Olivia is undoubtedly one of the “ones to watch” on the red carpet, as she continuously wows us with her gorgeous outfit choices. At this latest red carpet event, Olivia looked stunning in a simple but sexy Monique Lhuillier gown, which showed off a tantalizing peek of skin through the sheer black lace panels situated on either side of her waist.

It was even sexier from the back, thanks to the sheer black lace and the thick, criss-cross straps.

Olivia finished off the look with smokey copper eyeshadow, a bright coral lipstick, and Cartier jewelry.

Celebrity gossip websites first got wind of Olivia and Jason’s budding relationship in early December after the two were spotted together at an SNL afterparty in New York City… and then we didn’t hear any more about them for a while.

This week they resurfaced, and Olivia and Jason were photographed out in public together for the very first time. The two attended a basketball game in Lawrence, Kansas, between the University of Kansas Jayhawks and the Howard University Bison. The couple was even introduced to the crowd during a game timeout.

Olivia has been linked to a number of Hollywood A-listers ever since she divorced her husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli, and now she’s being linked to “Horrible Bosses” star Jason Sudeikis, who was previously in a relationship with “Mad Men” star January Jones.

Jason and Olivia reportedly went together to an SNL afterparty at Loi in New York City on Sunday. A source tells Us Weekly:

“They walked in holding hands.”

The source adds:

“She’s come to the [SNL] studio at Rockefeller Center, and they’ve gone out to dinner after rehearsals.”

Two months ago, Jake was spotted having an intimate lunch with Rashida Jones and snuggling up to Anna Kendrick on the same weekend… but now, it seems the actor has set his sights on “In Time” actress Olivia Wilde.

Olivia and Jake were spotted having dinner with a group of people at Chinatown Brassiere. Though the outing was hardly intimate, the two were reportedly seated next to each other and—and they looked “very cozy.”

An eyewitness revealed to Page Six:

“They were in a group but were very cozy with their chairs pulled in closely together.”

This isn’t the first time Olivia and Jake were spotted out together. Earlier this year, the twosome was seen together at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles—although at the time Wilde’s rep claimed that they were “just friends.”

The 27-year-old “Cowbows and Aliens” actress has recently gotten a divorce from Italian prince and husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli, and she deeply empathizes with Kim on the pain of going through the ordeal of divorce…

Kim, Hollywood news believes, is currently struggling against the pain of the backlash from a public who’ve had to endure her highly-publicized, heavily product-endorsed media circus of a wedding in August only to suffer from her decision to divorce her groom, Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage.

“It’s not easy. It’s the hardest thing in the world,”

Olivia Wilde, who eloped from her now ex-husband at 19, declares.

She believes Kim

“…thinks the world turned against her. She feels everyone hates her.”

…probably as a result of the “No More Kardashian” movement whose petition has gathered 135,600 signatures to date since its inception in November 2, and spawned a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and even a YouTube video.

“People judge you because divorce is seen as failure. (Kim) took a risk. No one should be attacking her. Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous.”

As scandalous as, oh…issues such the violated rights of the nation’s healthcare insurance industry, for instance, which Olivia has been known to support. Or the deplorable state of education and health services in Haiti, for which Olivia‘s lobbied for as a board member of Artists for Peace and Justice.

Anything but Kim Kardashian‘s divorce. She’s not scandalous enough to deserve a movement to oust her, right Olivia Wilde?

Olivia attended the 2011 Glamour Reel Moments event at the DGA Theater in West Hollywood in a sleeveless black and cream maxi dress, which she paired with hot pink heels.

The stylish actress completed the outfit with a pair of gold leaf earrings, a simple gold bracelet, and a shiny bronze clutch.

Olivia finished the look with a messy updo, black-rimmed eyes, and glossy lips.

To be honest, we’re not really loving this look. The shoes do add a nice pop of color, but there’s something weird about it. It doesn’t really go with the style of her dress.

In “The Change Up,” Olivia has a topless love scene with Ryan Reynolds, but like budding actresses everywhere who’re suddenly holding on to their modesty in a bid for meatier A-list roles, Olivia wore pasties, which were digitally altered with CGI nipples to make her nudity appear more convincing. But it isn’t her.

“I wasn’t actually naked but now appear to be naked because… in that scene Ryan Reynolds is supposed to be covering them (with his body) and he moved and so the pasties were in the movie and so they had to paint in nipples using CGI. And I got to approve the nipples! They sent me an email saying, ‘Please review nipple cover shot one through seven and decide which one is most like the original.’ I don’t know what he (producer) was using as source material… but I think it’s pretty close.”

So now the precedent has been set. Celebrity news bets their knickers there won’t be 100% real nudity in movies anymore. CGI and other digital technology will take care of people’s fantasies for them.

Good news for Lindsay Lohan, but shame on you Olivia Wilde!

Olivia, who the last time celebrity news looked, remains a radiantly ravishing green-eyed brunette, has expressed her disgust at typecasting and calls it shallow and pointless.

“Trying to fight this industry’s tendency to celebrate the physical is a waste of time,”

The “Tron” actress has been quoted as saying. She’s looking into working less days in a week because…

“Striving for physical perfection takes a lot of energy. For me it’s important to come home from work…and spend the afternoon reading a book instead of always running around.”

Wait…is Olivia Wilde trying to tell us something? Because we’re going to miss her sultry face and sexy presence like hell if she’s going to bow out of the Hollywood game so soon. And her career is only just peaking, too.

Apparently, the two got hot and heavy at some party a few weeks ago, but it’s unclear whether or not Wilde was just doing it to get back at Timberlake. Says a source who knows them both:

“They’re definitely hooking up. Olivia acted jealous when other girls came up to him…She thought going with Bradley would make JT jealous. Guys have been coming after her since the moment she filed for divorce!”

“Things seem to be heating up between Justin Timberlake and Olivia Wilde. Timberlake headed to Hell’s Kitchen’s Southern Hospitality on Friday night to celebrate his friend Eytan Sugarman’s birthday.

“Tron” beauty Wilde arrived shortly after to meet him and stayed by his side all night.”

Yeah, this is fairly similar to how Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake began their romance. I think it’s safe to assume that Timberlake has chosen Wilde as his jump-off. Jeez – can the man ever be single?

“The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse. I had that with Tao,” Wilde explains. “But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily — that’s the tragedy.”

So did she give an clue as to who she might be dating right now? Nope. Not a word. Only to say that she’s once again “opening her heart” to dating and taking time out for herself.
