Get ready Middle Earth fans, because Gollum, Gandalf, Galadriel, and Legolas are back for the “Lord of the Rings” prequel, “The Hobbit.” The film is generating so much buzz as one of the most highly anticipated films for 2012, especially with the return of some of your favorite characters…

Director Peter Jackson helms another installment of the successful film franchise based directly on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien, and this time, he directs the backstory of Frodo Baggins’ uncle, Bilbo Baggins and his adventures in “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”

Also unexpected is the tenderness shown between Gandalf and Galadriel, almost as if those two have mighty strong and achingly poignant feelings for one another.

Wow. We didn’t even know the old guy had it in him.

So expect the return of Sir Ian McKellan, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis as Gollum, a whole Shire-full of dwarves…and yes…even the ring that binds them all…

“Lord of The Rings” star Bloom gave a standing ovation as Miranda Kerr, his wife and the mother of his ten-month-old-son, walked the runway in a $2.5 million dollar diamond and pearl-encrusted brassiere and peacock-shaped ensemble on her back, stunning celebrity gossip websites and everyone else with how fast her body bounced back after the birth of her child…

And Levine, who performed at the event, actually walked his girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret angel, Anne Vyalitsyna, down the runway, she in her glamorous under-the-sea themed underwear, and he in his signature A-shirt, all the while boasting about his “Moves Like Jagger.” He even surprised her with a kiss…a very tame one given how much PDA they’ve been displaying in public lately.

How far from the usual and how star-studded these Victoria’s Secret fashion shows have come from it’s first extraordinarily tame presentation in 1995 to this year’s extravaganza, which featured performers like Kanye West, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj (who couldn’t help herself but walk the runway in her outrageous hair, too).

Would the late Victoria’s Secret founder Roy Raymond have envisioned his company to have come this far?

In the tradition of Brad Pitt playing photographer to breastfeeding partner Angelina Jolie, Orlando showed celebrity news he’s a fair hand at the camera…taking this topless photo of his gorgeous model wife.

The photos seem to be random and candid shots, and form part of Rag & Bone’s “DIY Project” where some chosen models were “given free reign to make their own ad campaign”…

“No stylist, no hair and make-up, no lighting,”

The ad’s tagline reads

“Just a girl and her camera, and Rag & Bone.”

We’re presuming Miranda isn’t much of a camera person, despite having posed in front of thousands of clicking equipment in the last few years. How lucky is she to have a hunk of a husband who can take really good photographs?

“Rather than do what every other brand does and have a high-end photographer take very polished shots, we thought, “‘Let’s flip it on its head to get the girls to take over,’”

Rag & Bone designer Marcus Wainwright explained.

“We wanted it to be very real.”

And real it is, indeed. You’ll find several photos of Miranda lying on the grass and gazing at her husband adoringly, and a couple more shots of her cavorting at a pier.

So we’ve discovered a heretofore hidden talent from Orlando Bloom…wonder if he’s taking this photography thing forward…we’d love to be photographed by him.

Miranda gave birth earlier this year to her and husband ORLANDO BLOOM‘s first child together, and she glowed in her first photograph nursing her son while simply telling Hollywood gossip websites her labor was difficult without going into details. Turns out it was a long and arduous ordeal and Miranda thought she was going to depart from the earthly plane…

“I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down on myself – the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, “how do women do this?” But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.”

the feisty supermodel said.

But Miranda survived her natural birth experience with a 4.5 (9.9 lbs) kilogram baby without thinking much of the consequences it would have on her body and her career:

“I have so much more that I want to do aside from modelling. I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it”

And as we all know, Miranda‘s back in the biz with her spanking bikini-ready bod. All’s well that end’s well, near-death experience notwithstanding.

Orland was riding around on a Ducati motorcycle in Brentwood, California on Thursday when he bumped into (not literally, of course) ex-girlfriend Kate, who immediately came up to him and gave him a big hug. An onlooker tells Us Weekly:

“They looked cordial… They were genuinely smiling to one another like friends, but didn’t linger very long.”

The former couple dated for about four years before breaking up in 2006. Orlando is now married to supermodel Miranda Kerr, whom he married in July 2010. The newlyweds now have a baby together, as reported earlier this year by celebrity gossip websites.

Meanwhile Kate is said to be dating ‘True Blood’ actor Alexander Skarsgard.

According to the latest entertainment news, ‘The Hobbit’ by J.R.R. Tolkien will be translated to the big screen in the form of two films, and Orlando has officially signed on to reprise his role as the gorgeous blonde elf Legolas—despite the fact that his character was originally not in the novel.

Director Peter Jackson announced Orlando’s inclusion last Friday on Facebook:

“Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character…. I’m excited to announce today that we’ll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I’m thrilled to be working with Orlando again.”

The first of the two films should be hitting cinemas by December 2012, while the second one will follow a year later.

We wonder why Orlando, who did not return to the fourth film of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise, is returning to his other film franchise. Maybe he preferes the blonde wig to the sexy pirate beard? Hmmm.

Orlando looks to be a proud and protective new papa as he cuddles his baby boy taking a walk around a local park with his sister Samantha Bloom.

Mommy Miranda Kerr said on her blog that she gave birth to little Flynn without any pain medication and he was born 9 pound 12 ounces! Ouch! As expected it was a long and arduous labor but surely it’s all worth the pain.

“I gave birth to him naturally,” Miranda, the gorgeous Victoria’s Secret supermodel says on her blog, “without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labor.” “Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it,” Miranda, 27, added “I could not have done it without him.”

“We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine,” she said. “Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts.”

Orlando Bloom, 34, and Miranda started dating three years ago and married in July.

Congratulations to the happy new parents! One thing we can be sure of youngster is going to be super handsome!

We reported that the gorgeous Victoria’s Secret supermodel, Miranda and Pirates of the Caribbean beau, Orlando are parents to a new baby boy who was born last Friday but now we’re finding out that little tyke is not so little in fact he’s HUGE according to Miranda’s grandmother, Ann Kerr speaking through a family friend to Sydney’s Daily telegraph that he’s almost 10 pounds heavy!

The baby’s name has yet to be announced. This is the first child for Miranda, 27, and Orlando, 33, who secretly married in July!

Congratulations to the proud parents of having a Big bundle of joy!

Refreshingly, Bloom and Kerr have remained rather drama-free throughout their entire romance, which is exceedingly rare amongst fantastic-looking couples who act and model for a living.

No word on what Bloom and Kerr named their bundle of joy but those who are fans of her fashion model work need not worry.

Kerr plans on continuing her modeling career.

“I’ve always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad. I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life, I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives.”

Expect Miranda back in a bikini looking as svelte as ever in two months. Seriously.

Miranda finally came out and admitted she is indeed four months along today in an interview. Congratulations!

Three weeks after Us Weekly reported that Miranda Kerr is expecting her first child with her husband Orlando Bloom, the Victoria’s Secret model has confirmed the news in the September issue of Spanish Vogue.

“Yes, I’m pregnant. Four months along,” Kerr, 27, tells the mag (via The Daily Mail).

The normally tight-lipped supermodel — who wed Bloom in a quiet ceremony in July — recently opened up about her nuptials in Sydney’s Morning Herald.

So how lucky can a baby be to get her supermodel genes and Orlando’s adorable dimples? This baby has super cute written all over its DNA. Do you think she will have a boy or a girl?

So why the quickie ceremony?

That was fast. Only a month after their engagement was confirmed, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have married.

The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr says in a statement that also explains the cancelation of her appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.

Why do you think hey hurried up and tied the know? Was it because they couldn’t wait to be together – even though they lived together – or is it why we think? Is there a baby on the way for another one of the Victoria Secret Angels? Congratulations Miranda and Orlando!

Orlando must have gotten tired of hearing the rumors, so he went out and bought a ring to make it official.

Bloom’s publicist has confirmed the news that Kerr and Bloom are engaged.

Kerr, 27, first met Bloom backstage at a Victoria’s Secret lingerie fashion show in New York in 2006 and began dating in late 2007.

The couple have said little publicly about their relationship, with the supermodel in 2008 admitting to People magazine that Bloom was “a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say”.

Congratulations to the gorgeous pair! They didn’t release any details of the proposal, nor when they think they will get married. Where in the world do you think Miranda and Orlando will tie the know?

A lot of celebrities were in Morroco including Jennifer Aniston (so let’s write off the romance rumor.. I didn’t think so anyway) were there for the lavish gala for the reopening of Marrakesh’s famed La Mamounia hotel.
 

Bloom arrived with girlfriend, Miranda.

“Miranda and I spend so much time apart, she’s working hard, I’m working hard, so we have to grab time together whenever we can,” Bloom said. “A weekend here, a weekend there.”

As for ongoing engagement rumors, Bloom said, “We are just enjoying our time together now.” Bloom, who flew from the U.S. but changed planes in London, where he met up with Kerr, then looked at her, and said, “But doesn’t she look lovely tonight.” – via People

We all know Orlando has been dating his Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr for the past 2 years. But just last year Orlando and Jennifer were reportedly to have been flirty attending a Hollywood gathering at Eva Longoria’s restaurant. Aniston’s rep said they’re just friends.

Then again they were spotted holidaying in Mexico at the same resort in 2007. Friends of Orlando said he’s held a long crush on Jennifer for years. True or not? We can’t confirm at this point but being just friends why would you avoid being photographed together especially in this case when you have the same manager who’s even at the airport meeting you both. - via Daily Mail

It seems that the trip to Venice was not romantic at all, but work for Miranda.  She was doing a photoshoot and this trip had been planned for a while.  No spontaneous loving here!

The false reports from the Sunday Telegraph even went as far as to say:

The wedding is planned for the middle of next year, when both have a break from work commitments.

Bloom and Kerr, who live together in New York, celebrated their engagement with a romantic getaway in Venice last week.

Darn!  They would make such a cute couple too!!

InTouch Weekly reported the pair had split recently and that Miranda had already bounced back to her old boyfriend, Jason Davis.  Jason and Miranda were caught smooching at several spots in New York over the weekend, but Kerr still denied reports of a breakup with Bloom. 

Either that is one heck of an open relationship or we have another Miller/Getty love affair going on.  Deny, deny, deny, even when topless pictures emerge!  Honesty is the best policy kids! Ha!

Orlando had his breakthrough role in the early 2000s as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy of films, and subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including Troy, Elizabethtown and Kingdom of Heaven.

Bloom was born in Canterbury, Kent, England. He is named after the 17th century composer Orlando Gibbons, has one sister, Samantha Bloom, who was born in 1975. He lives in London and he’s a big fan of the soccer team Manchester United.

Bloom also has a tattoo of a sun on his lower left abdomen which he got at the age of 16 after moving to London.

Bloom has sustained several injuries: he broke his left arm and cracked his skull three times, broke his nose while playing rugby union, broke his right leg skiing in Switzerland, broke his left leg in a motorbike crash, broke his right wrist while snowboarding, and broke a toe and a finger.He also broke his back when he slipped trying to reach a roof terrace of a friend’s house and fell three floors. The doctors operated on his back, inserting screws and plates. During the hospital stay, Bloom said that he didn’t think he would walk again, but twelve days later, he was walking on crutches. Bloom also sustained cracked ribs while working on The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and along with Viggo Mortensen, who had broken two toes, and Gimli stunt double Bret Beattie, who had a knee injury, were considered by director Peter Jackson as ‘the running wounded’. Ouch!
