Apparently, they looked innocent and innocuous at first, but then they started pawing the “Easy A” actor and actually started undressing him in public…

Badgley, 25, has his share of fans but never as intense as that crowd of schoolgirls who used their strength in numbers to overpower the hunky actor and practically dry hump him beneath the cover of their uniforms.

“I tried to come down [from the set] and wasn’t able to get to the Met because probably, like, 40 or 50 Catholic schoolgirls all swarmed me and pinned me up against a chain-link fence,”

Badgley reminisces.

“At first, it was entertaining. And then they started pulling at my clothes and it was a little aggressive. Then I realized I couldn’t get out, even though they’re all [smaller].”

Seems almost like a Japanese sexual fantasy gone the way of a zombie invasion, doesn’t it?

“This bodyguard came out of nowhere, reached out like I was holding on to a rock in raging rapids, and pulled me through it,”

Badgley tells celebrity news with obvious relief.

“[It] was bizarre.”

We don’t really think it was that odd, considering the actor’s dark good looks and level of fame, but next time Penn Badgley, beware those Catholic schoolgirls…you don’t know how much they’ve been deprived and the lengths they’d be willing to go to just to get up close and personal with someone like you…

Guess there’s no chance of him getting back together with his “Gossip Girl” co-star and newly single ex, BLAKE LIVELY.

Hot on the heels of Blake’s breakup with Leonardo DiCaprio, Penn was spotted out with Lenny Kravitz’s daughter Zoe, whom he is reportedly dating.

According to Hollywood news, the new couple was photographed holding hands and kissing while taking a stroll down Soho in New York earlier this week. A source tells Us Weekly:

“They’re doing great… So happy!”

Penn and Zoe were first spotted out together in July. They enjoyed an intimate dinner at Brooklyn’s Five Leaves restaurant on July 16, and then attended a “Friends with Benefits” premiere a few days later.

Penn dated Blake for three years before they called it quits in October last year, and Zoe was previously in a relationship with her “X-Men” co-star Michael Fassbender.

According to reports, Rob was working his ass off to get the part. However, out of the three actors who were being considered for the role—James Franco, Robert Pattinson, and Penn Badgley—Penn was the one chosen… and Rob took it pretty hard. A source tells HollywoodLife.com:

“Robert Pattinson is devastated he’s lost out on the one role he really wanted… It was down to Rob, James Franco and Penn for the part, and Rob was really pushing himself to get it.

Rob hasn’t heard ‘no’ a lot lately, so he’s really bummed. He was passionate about this project.”

And for a while, it seemed as if Rob was going to get the part. Jeff Buckley’s mother—who is also the executive producer of the film—said:

“Robert is a fine young actor. I’m flattered he’s been linked to this project. When the time comes we’ll give everybody an opportunity to be seen and heard.”

One of the producers also confirmed that Rob was very much “keen” on getting the role, and it seemed that he was the best choice since they were looking for an actor who could “play music and sing”—which makes sense since the movie’s about a musician. Unfortunately, Rob didn’t get it.

Penn, on the other hand, is very happy about landing the part. The source says:

“Penn is thrilled to get this role and thinks it’s the film of a lifetime… He’s been trying to push out of the ‘Gossip Girl’ image and knows this film will be the perfect opportunity to do so.”

Don’t worry Rob! You’ve got plenty of awesome roles! Don’t you think Penn deserves his chance?

The couple have apparently split up in September but had chosen to keep the break up news private. The break up has been officially confirmed to US Weekly magazine by their rep who also revealed that the ex-couple intend to remain “good friends.”

A source adds, “They’re professionals. They’re still good friends and hang out on the set. (They) kept this news to themselves for a while.”

Blake didn’t want to share a TV show with her then off screen boyfriend. But after Penn met the cast and crew, they liked him. From the SF Gate:

She tells Britain’s Glamour magazine, “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.

“Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”

My first instinct is to say, what a b—- for not wanting him on the show. But maybe Blake had other reasons, like she was afraid working together would make them break up. At least Blake is big enough to admit she was wrong!

CW also announced that it also appeals higher to women aged 18 to 34, a demographic which has become the most-coveted. Their key demo rounded up in three major cities such as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago as reports by Aceshowbiz

I say big cities love to fantasize and Gossip Girl gets your imaginations running, doesn’t it?

They do have very fresh looking cast. Chace Crawford is so cute of course there have been rumors that him and Ed Westwick are gay. The rumors were denied by Chace Crawford’s publicist ”These endless rumors are absolutely untrue” as reports by Nymag.

They have never came out and acknowledged their romance but Kelly Rutherford, their co-star had confirmed their relationship as reports by Starpulse. When asked what Kelly thought of the young stars as a couple, she gave her seal of approval, saying: “I think they’re lovely.” Kelly plays the mother of Lively’s character Serena van der Woodsen on the show.
