While the man who once scrawled lewd words on celebrity pictures, now penning a kid’s book may seem a little odd and out of left-field, Perez is openly gay and has been a big advocate for the It Gets Better campaign after a string of teenage suicides related to bullying. But about the book:

“Hilton is penning a children’s book titled ‘The Boy With Pink Hair,’ celebrating individuality and self-acceptance. “This story is about every kid that’s ever had a dream, felt excluded, wanted to belong, and hoped that one day they could do what they loved and make a difference,” says Hilton in a release.

Well, it certainly looks like he’s attempting to reverse his bad karma. Will you buy the book?

Perez’ real name Mario Lavandeira, 32, grew up in Miami as a gay Cuban kid; he attended an all-boys Jesuit school.

Lately, Perez has been thinking about how much sweeter life would be to share it with someone. Perez goes on to tell that it’s harder for him to date because he’s gay and he’s famous.

But that’s not going to stop him from achieving his ultimate dream of having a family, Ricky Martin–style. “My clock is ticking,” he says. “I definitely feel open and deserving of a quality relationship. And I also really want to have kids. I don’t necessarily need a partner for that; I can do that on my own. Adopting is great, but I want to have my own biological children. I guess that’s where the Latino in me comes out,” he adds with a laugh. “When you have worked so hard for so long, your priorities shift. I think there are more important things in life than what you do for a living.”

Perez experienced his own share of bullying: “I was probably bullied just as much for being overweight as I was for being obviously gay but in the closet. I actually look at the bullying as a positive thing because it led me to find like-minded people.”

But Perez has done the biggest transformation by having stopped insulting celebrities.

Perez says, “I used to justify my behavior saying, ‘These are people that choose to be in the public eye, and they need to be prepared for the criticism.”

“But if I want to encourage others to do good in the world and not hurt each other, then I need to do that myself. I will not be going back to how I used to be. I can’t be the boy that cried wolf.”

I couldn’t agree more. We have a motto: celebrity friendly. Even though they are famous but they are just like us — We all have flaws so why are we so harsh bashing others when we screw up day in and day out? It’s not a great way to make money by insulting others. That’s bad karma!

Good job Perez and he’s really look so much better with the weight loss, hasn’t he? I’m starting to like him.

Perez has pushed the limit a lot…now it might catch up to him, legally!

Early Monday morning, Hilton posted a picture of the 17-year-old pop star wearing a short white dress and no underwear. In the photo, Cyrus is in the midst of climbing out of an open-topped convertible car with her lady parts exposed.

For his two million plus followers to see, the celebrity blogger posted the picture with the following introduction, “If you are easily offended, do NOT click here. Oh, Miley! Warning: truly not for the easily offended!”

But it’s the celebrity blogger that might need a warning. Cyrus is underage. Police might consider her naked image child pornography.

So, part of me feels sorry for Miley, because NO ONE wants to get caught in pictures like that, no matter what your age is. Another part says, get it together and tone the sex down! Do you think Perez should get in trouble for posting the pictures?

Perez thought he could be moved up and bump the other people who were waiting, since he needed to go and work on his blog. That didn’t sit so well with one of the newscasters, who goes off on Hilton. From Popeater:

Hilton tweeted that he wanted “an apology and an on-air correction/retraction!” after KTLA reported he had forgone his interview.

“Perez said we lied about what happened here, and he demanded a retraction…Well demand this you talentless dope, here is what really happened,” KTLA anchor Sam Rubin said.

Ashlee says she had a great time with her husband and they did not fight. I guess she doesn’t deny the drunk story, but she does the fight and the yelling. From Actress Archives:

Shortly after the report appeared on Hilton’s blog, Ashlee tweeted to Pete, “I had so much fun with ur parents last night. Thanx for dedicating the DJ set to me. Love you more magic. I miss u already.”

15 minutes later Simpson added a message directed at Perez, reading “When all you do is make up untrue stories — look in the mirror. Do you even feel human? Karma is a bitch. Your story is WAY off.”

It didn’t end there because Perez responded to Ashlee calling him a liar!

Minutes later, Perez defended himself, noting “I don’t wanna name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels & Kings. I’m not wrong.”

Ashlee’s response? “WRONG. My husband is an amazing DJ and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur own life.”

OK, I kind of want to gag over the amazing love thing, but it does seem like there wasn’t a fight. Were employees making it up to hurt Ashlee and Pete?

Kim has been a frequent target of Perez Hilton’s blog over the years, but she doesn’t hold a grudge. Kim seems to realize how much he can help her career, even. From OK! Magazine:

So last night Kim had some advice for her pal will.i.am, who got into a major face-off with the blogger the other night: You have to a sense of humor to survive the blogosphere.

So, as a seasoned Perez victim, does she think the Queen Of All Media got what was coming to him?

“You know what, I think that a lot of people do take to heart a lot of blogs. But it’s just a job for him. I’m sure he’s not trying to hurt anybody’s feelings by it.

“You know, you have to have a sense of humor about it.”

That’s an interesting sentiment. Kim gets it – it’s a job and a way to make a living for Perez (even though that’s not his real name) and doesn’t take stuff personally. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t really ticked her off – but she gets it. Cool.

The verbal altercation happened outside an after-party for Much Music Awards in Toronto – moments after Perez Hilton claims Will.I.AM went after him like a “heat-seeking missile” and unleashed a verbal tirade at him.

With a crowd surrounding Perez, Will and Will’s manager, Polo – the guys argue back and forth for about a minute, until Perez tells Will, “you’re not a f**king artist … you’re a f**king f*ggot.”

The scene suddenly turns chaotic — and in the mess someone punches Perez in the face.Hilton claims Will’s manager hit him “two or three times.”

Perez himself admits to calling Will.I.Am in an interview with AP

“He was like ‘You need to respect me.’ He was in my face. He was obviously trying to intimidate me and scare me,” Hilton said. “I was like ‘I don’t need to respect you. I don’t respect you and I did say this, and I knew that it would be the worst thing I could possibly say to him because he was acting the way he was. I said ‘You know what, I don’t respect you and you’re gay and stop being such a faggot.’”

He says, she says, I mean he says, he says.. it’s never fun in any altercation, is it?

Yes, says Perez Hilton, who hit the airwaves Thursday morning to detail an alleged recent make-out he had with Mayer.

“He is definitely bi,” Hilton declared on Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS-FM radio show, adding that Mayer is “struggling with his sexuality.”

Of their liplock at NYC club Stereo last year, Hilton said, “He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It was on the mouth with tongue.”

“I thought he was messing with me,” Hilton went on. “Then he kept going and going.”

Hilton claims Jessica Simpson — Mayer’s girlfriend at the time — didn’t mind.

“While John Mayer and I are making out, she is rubbing his crotch,” Hilton recalled.

Mayer’s rep tells Usmagazine.com, “This is all so ridiculous.” Simpson’s rep had no comment.
