Amber named Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door 2009 by PETA. More than 200,000 people voted and hundreds were initially nominated. There were two winners a guy and a gal, Amber tops the female contestants and Monty came out on top among the guys.

 Amber, PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door 2009, she’s 29, a Minnesota native and a photographer. Amber decided to go vegetarian after reading the book Skinny Bitch and doing research on making the switch, and she’s thrilled with the results!

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized. The first guess would be PETA supporters, but then it seems a little juvenile.  When they go for stars,they go where they will get a bunch of attention, not just scribbling words on something, someone will find in a week or two.

Khloe Kardashian is a fur hypocrite. She recently posed nude for PeTA in an anti-fur ad campaign.  But guess what? Khloe was photographed wearing fur earlier in the year! Do you think she forgot?

Khloe was reminded of her transgression by many blogs as soon as her anti fur ad came out.  She had on a fur wrap when she visited Europe this winter.  Khloe explains though that PeTA approached her after that incident and educated her about furs by giving her videos.  She says via People Magazine:

Kid Rock is taunting and daring PeTA to do something about his fur coat wearing antics. Oh boy. Actually, Kid Rock has declared war against PeTA and called them out for some of their high handed tactics.  And let the war begin!

Samantha Ronson is steamed that her gal pal Lindsay Lohan got a flour bomb dropped on her Saturday night. So what does she do best when she isn’t spinning music? She took to her blog to rant about PeTA and fur wearing targets.

Sharon has long since been on the hit list of PeTA for wearing fur coats, leather outfits and being an ‘animal cruelty’ person.  After the recent faux pas about China and Karma, PeTA has this for Sharon.  They offered her a free brain scan, to see if part of her brain in underdeveloped.  Mainly, the part that allows humans to be sensitive to others.  Ouch.
