Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi was on Oprah Winfrey’s Show on Monday. This was their first interview as a married couple.

Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia De Rossi a pink diamond engagement ring.  Ellen confirmed from the red carpet at the Emmy Awards last week that the two are planning a dream wedding.

While the pair said a date was set and preparations were being made, they would not give out a date.  The ceremony will be shown on Ellen’s show in the future.  Maybe for November sweeps?

Ellen DeGeneres is marrying her long-term girlfriend, Portia de Rossi. Today the California Supreme Court ruling strunk down the State’s ban on gay marriage – Long Live America! I am as straight as a line. I can’t stand guys but I can’t live without them but just the thought that I have to deal with another woman like myself, I would literally die!
