Keira Knightley plays a slut!
Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes will pair up as an unhappy aristocratic couple in the 18th-century-set costume drama The Duchess. Knightley, currently collecting rave reviews for her performance in Joe Wright’s Atonement, is set to portray the scandalous Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, in a film adaptation of the eponymous 1998 bestselling biography by Amanda Foreman.
Georgiana was a socialite and celebrated beauty who maintained a famed literary salon, gambled her money away, and led a menage-a-trois with her husband and his mistress – who was also Georgiana’s best friend.
A Qantas flight attendant is in hot water after allegedly having a mid-air sexual encounter with actor Ralph Fiennes, according to Britain’s Daily Mail Web site.
Lisa Robertson is grounded without pay, the Daily Mail said, and will be fired if the airline determines sex did, in fact, take place.
Other crew members claim Robertson had relations with the “English Patient” star in the aircraft’s business-class restroom. Robertson, however, claims Fiennes followed her into the stall where, with door locked, she attempted to stave off his advances.
