The American Idol judges looked…awkward. Fox tried desperately to genereate some interest in the aging show and it appears they…tried? When the judges were all revealed and standing together, it looked like comedy.

Randy Jackson has his eye on a business venture after American Idol ends this week. Randy wants to start a woman’s handbag line. Perhaps Jackson has an eye for fashion like he does undiscovered musical talent? Who knows. There are very, very few straight men I would trust with creating women’s accessories. Very few. And I’m not sure someone who overuses the word “dawg” is one of them.

American idol will be adding in a fourth judge to the mix. That means Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will be sharing duties and opinions with another. And her name is Kara DioGuardi, who is a Grammy winning songwriter. She will debut on the show when it returns in January.
