Hewitt was engaged to her ex-long term boyfriend Scottish actor Ross McCall, who she met when he made an appearance on Ghost Whisperer. On January 5, 2009, People magazine reported that Hewitt and McCall have called off their engagement.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is a player. Since the announcement of Jennifer’s broken engagement to Ross McCall, boyfriends from the past have slinked out of the woodwork to air their own Jennifer Love Hewitt grievances. She apparently has a past of cheating and promising marriage, but never following through.

Former LFO frontman Rich Cronin, is still getting over his intense two-year love affair with Jennifer. She talked about marrying him and then cheated on him. And guess who busted her? Us Weekly! He tells the magazine:

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s engagement to Ross McCall ended partially because she was overly needy and insecure in the relationship, reports Us Weekly. After Ross and Jennifer were engaged for almost a year, they called off the wedding. However, she says the two are both still wearing their rings. So perhaps there could be a reconciliation?

David Beckham made his Major League Soccer debut this weekend coming on as a substitute in the Los Angeles Galaxy’s 1-0 exhibition loss to Chelsea of the English Premier League. Beckham played about the final 15 minutes of the game at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. The former captain of England’s national team has been bothered by an ankle injury that left his status in question. Eva Longoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt & Ross McCall were among the many celebrities that showed up to support Becks. And of course, his good friends, Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes along with his other half, Victoria Beckham.
