Just months after divorcing pop star hottie Katy Perry, it seems Russell Brand is sparking up a special bromance with engaged veteran actor Alec Baldwin—on screen, at least.

Apparently, Russell had the chance to kiss the soon-to-be married “30 Rock” actor right on the lips for the soon-to-be-released “Rock of Ages” film, and he had nothing but good (and a little cringe-worthy) words about the actor and the smooch.

The British comedian told reporters yesterday:

“I get to kiss Alec Baldwin. He is [a good kisser].”

He continued:

“It is right on the mouth. It is sexy because Alec is a sexy man.”

And as if that wasn’t honest enough, Russell went on to reveal:

“I certainly don’t regret [kissing him]. I’d do it again if there was a sequel – or even if there wasn’t.”

We honestly don’t know how to feel about this, but something tells us that Will Smith‘s kissy Ukrainian reporter wishes that their red carpet smooch attempt had been as successful as Russell and Alec‘s.

Now ain’t that sweet?

Brand has definitely been a class act all throughout his and Katy’s highly publicized divorce, opting not to take a single penny of the “Part of Me” singer’s millions, keeping mum about the cause of their split, and even letting her keep the house that they bought together back when they were still Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brand.

And apparently, despite the fact that he recently unfollowed her on Twitter, Russell is not bitter towards Katy. In fact, in a recent interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the British actor had nothing but nice things to say about his ex.

Brand shared:

“I still love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her.”

He continued:

“She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”

The eccentric comedian, who was actually slamming breakup rumors during his last appearance on the show, found himself explaining their breakup on Thursday’s show:

“You can’t absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life… Sometimes thing are just different and then you to just move with that and try and remain in contact with what is beautiful about yourself and each other … with any situation. Just remain beautiful – [Katy] is still a person I still consider to be beautiful…”

How sweet. Props to you, Russell.

Russell and Katy, who reached a divorce settlement in February, have decided to rid of each other’s marks, at least on the social networking site Twitter.

Now almost five months since Katy unfollowed him on Twitter, Russell has decided to do the same. While they may keep their separation amicable, despite past rumors trying to prove it otherwise, it seems the couple felt the need to become ignorant of quick updates from each other…

But why just now? Maybe Russell has had enough of hearing about Katy‘s new boyfriend whom she was packing on the PDA with at the recent Coachella? Or has he decided that it’s time to move on?

When news broke out that Katy Perry had been spending a lot of time with gorgeous male model and singer Baptiste Giabiconi, it seemed as if she had really moved on from ex-hubby Russell Brand. But according to recent reports, the “Part of Me” singer has already been pining for the British comedian… less than four months after he filed their divorce papers.

Which is reportedly why she’s trying to get him back.

A source close to Katy tells Us Weekly:

“Katy‘s been trying to get him back! She’s a lost soul right now.”

What made her change her mind? Her recent solo trip to India—the place where she and Brand exchanged vows back in 2010.

The insider adds:

“She’d already been missing Russell… Being back there stirred up even more old feelings.”

But it seems that Russell, who has been dating quite a bit ever since he became a single man again, might not be too interested in reconciliation. After all, it was him who filed for divorce.

Another source—a friend of Katy’s—explains:

“Right now, Katy and Russell are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends,”

For their latest property settlement agreement, Russell Brand says his soon-to-be ex-wife Katy Perry can have their multi-million love house. Looks like the comedian was serious when he said that he didn’t want a single penny from the pop star, after observing that there was no prenup agreement arranged before their marriage–even after cashing out for a recent phone-tossing incident.

TMZ reported:

“TMZ got hold of a quitclaim deed that Russell filed in L.A. … giving Katy all rights to the $6.5 million house — lock, stock and barrel.”

Looks like many other celebrity divorces could pick up a thing or two from Russell and Katy‘s seemingly amicable and civilized separation.

Wonder if he paid for the iPhone that he threw as well?

Once again, Russell Brand considered himself a free man after he was released on a $5,000 bond following his arrest in New Orleans for two counts of criminal damage to property. Both misdemeanors were because of an incident last Monday where he proudly wrestled with a paparazzo’s iPhone and tossed the phone through a window of a law firm, as we’ve previously reported.

The window that he broke, however, is being repaired after Brand‘s camp paid the law firm $240.

After making a joke about the iPhone snatching incident on Twitter—claiming that he could not “bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently” and that his actions were in fact a tribute to the late Steve Jobs—Brand turned himself over to the New Orleans authorities one day after they issued a warrant for his arrest.

As previously reported, Russell got into a confrontation with a photographer in New Orleans after the latter began taking photos of the British comedian with his iPhone, which caused the actor to get pissed, grab the phone, and throw it at a building… resulting in a smashed window.

Russell is currently in the custody of the police.

Serves him just right!

Luckily, Russell Brand was issued an arrest warrant only for the window that he broke when he tossed a paparazzo’s iPhone through it after wrestling it away from the pap’s hands. At least he got a laugh out of it before facing the authorities, as he has publicly shown his fans and Twitter followers when he said that he only did it as a “tribute to Steve Jobs.”

The former Mr. Katy Perry, however, is currently in the state for the filming of a movie and his reps for the production has not said a word about the warrant.

Katy Perry‘s estranged ex-husband has made celebrity news when he allegedly snatched an iPhone away from a photographer and tossed it through a nearby office building’s window. The English comedian offered to pay for the broken window but has not returned any calls from New Orleans Police Department, although the now phoneless paparazzo did not file any complaints against Brand.

However, Brand jested on Twitter:

“Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”

Man, that Russell can sure make people laugh… except that time when he broke Katy‘s heart.

For a dad whose kid just got dumped, he’s doing awfully well.

Katy Perry‘s minister parents Keith and Mary Hudson were at the 100th bash for the health food company Patricia Bragg in California when her dad was caught in an interview, admitting that his feelings towards his former son-in-law—who filed for divorce after being married to Katy for 14 months—is nowhere close to wanting to beat the damn guy who hurt his daughter. If only his daughter already felt the same way…

Keith tells Us Weekly:

“There are no hard feelings towards Russell — I just received a text from him the other day in fact. He is a wonderful and smart guy.”

The “Part Of Me” singer’s dad also reveals what went wrong in his daughter’s marriage:

“Her career got really busy and she did not get to see that much of Russell — it was just one of those things.”

The minister, who has been married with his wife Mary for more than 30 years, then jokingly tells his secret to avoiding marital problems such as Katy and Russell‘s:

“I always say ‘Yes Honey!’”

Hudson also opens up about the latest rumor about her daughter being romantic with a sexy male model Baptiste Giabiconi in Paris:

“I don’t know anything about this male model guy. She is healthy and happy now!”

It’s nice to know that the depressed singer is getting that much support from her parents.

Ever since news of Katy and Russell’s divorce broke out, stories have been sprouting up left and right about the former couple and their post-divorce activities… the most outlandish of which was a rumor about the British comedian going after recently single Zooey Deschanel, who is a dead ringer for his ex-wife.

In an interview with The Guardian, Zooey sets the record straight:

“That’s complete fabrication!”

She adds:

“I don’t even know him! I maybe met him once, in passing, four years ago. And he definitely doesn’t have my phone number!”

Wondering how the rumor even got started, Zooey muses:

“It’s crazy how that got picked up — I mean how does that even happen?”

It’s easy, Zooey. People make things up for the sole purpose of making the Hollywood world even more interesting than it already is.

Then who is it about, Katy?

Celebrity news has learned that the song, which Katy debuted at the Grammy Awards last month, is widely believed to be about her British ex-hubby, Russell Brand. But the “Firework” singer, who split from Brand after the “massive fight” they had just before the holidays, says it’s definitely isn’t.

“I wrote it two years ago, which is funny because everybody is like ‘God, it sounds so current,’”

Perry reveals to MTV News.

So, two years ago… that would be just after she broke up with her ex, Travie McCoy…

Maybe it’s about him!

Katy adds:

“Some people that I work with were like, ‘You should just say you wrote it a couple of weeks ago.’ I’m like, ‘I’m not a d—, I’m going to tell the truth.’ I wrote it two years ago when I was writing and recording Teenage Dream, [but] it didn’t feel right on the record. I would’ve had to take out one of my other songs that [made the album] a nice, complete package.”

Still, the blue-haired “Smurfs” star does find it weird that “Part Of Me,” which contains scathing lyrics aimed at an ex-lover, seems so in tune with her life now, despite being written two years ago. She explains:

“I always planned to put it out in the spring of this year, to possibly perform it at a big [awards show], but sometimes I’m like, ‘Am I living in ‘The Truman Show?’ … what’s going on?’ Because I sit down and I write all these songs at once, all these emotions and feelings and thoughts, and then, like, it just feels like sometimes I’m caught in this movie where my life is paralleling my music!”

Honestly, it seems a bit more deliberate than Katy‘s making it out to be. She may have written it two years ago, but performing it right after her split from Russell (when she had the choice not to) obviously makes it about him…

Katy who?

Russell, who was recently rumored to have set his sights on his ex-wife’s look-alike, “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel, has been spotted with his new rebound in tow… and she’s a brunette, too.

Russell is rumored to be dating Mexican-born artist Oriela Medellin Amieiro, whom he reportedly met at a Yoga class in Los Angeles. The new couple was photographed shopping together in West Hollywood before getting into a minor fender bender with a teen driver in Russell’s Range Rover.

In addition to being photographed shopping with the “Arthur” star and riding shotgun in his car, last week Amieiro was spotted leaving Brand’s bachelor pad in Beverly Hills late at night.

Meanwhile, Russell’s ex-ladylove, Katy Perry, spent the night in the arms of another man… Elton John! The “California Girls” singer attended the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Pacific Design Center on Sunday, along with fellow divorcees Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian.

Katy may have lost out to Grammys big winner Adele in both the categories she was nominated for, but she definitely shined that night thanks to her amazing, angst-ridden performance, which she used to kill two birds with one stone: she got to debut a new song and send a message to her ex, Russell Brand.

Katy’s new song, “Part of Me,” was obviously aimed at her former husband. Check out the lyrics:

The song is great and Katy‘s Grammy performance was perfect, but honestly, it seems a bit immature of her to slam Russell like that (if that was really her intention)… especially since he’s been such a gentleman all throughout their divorce proceedings.

The comic, 36, who recently finalized his divorce from estranged pop star wife, Katy Perry, sparked fears about his health among the audience when he suddenly announced he was feeling awful in the middle of a spiel. Did the blinding headache he experienced have anything to do with the stress of his separation from Katy?

“I have a terrible pain. I need pain killers. Sorry about this.”

Brand, 36, told his shocked audience at the sold-out ComedySportz Theatre in Hollywood.

“I feel nauseous now. I feel sick.”

Still, despite the pounding in his head, he tried to make light of the situation, finding something to laugh about in the midst of his pain.

“I think I’m such a professional showman this is beyond ridiculous stopping to take medication.”

Apparently, Russell‘s health woes, which date back to his drug-addled past,  have come back in full force ever since he announced he was filing for divorce from his wife of 14 months, 27-year-old Katy.

And who wouldn’t feel awful, having to be forced to walk away from a $20 million divorce settlement because he’s a hard-headed son of a gun because he respects her too much?

Oh, and because they never actually had time to kick one up.

Since there was no prenup between Russell and Katy, the community property law takes effect, which means everything they both earned while they were married will be divided 50/50. And since Katy earned more than Russell did, she stands to lose more.

But, as previously reported, Russell has refused to take the $20 million (of Katy’s hard-earned money) that he is entitled to in their divorce. And, according to sources, both he and Katy have no regrets about not signing a prenup.

TMZ reports:

“Katy and Russell‘s marriage happened so fast, they never really had the opportunity to summon their lawyers and hash out a prenup … nor did either really believe they needed one.”

The site continues:

“…both felt comfortable one wouldn’t screw the other in the event of a divorce — they both knew where the other person stood on money, life, religion … everything.”

Also, according to TMZ’s source:

“Russell is a very simple person who doesn’t need much to make him happy. He would never take money that [Katy] earned. That’s not Russell. And if it was the other way around, Katy wouldn’t have taken it either. They respect each other too much.”

Wow. What an amicable divorce… who knew that could happen in Hollywood?

Russell, whose divorce from pop superstar wife Katy Perry was announced just before New Year’s Eve following a string of breakup rumors over the holidays, reportedly stands to take home over $20 million dollars of Perry’s money… thanks to the fact that the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.

In the absence of a prenup, everything the couple earns during the time they were married is to be summed up and divided equally… and since Katy earned around $44 million from May 2010 to May 2011, Russell is entitled to half of everything she made… which means he stands to rake in quite a fortune.

But here’s the thing… Russell has no plans of taking even a single cent from Katy. He’s more than happy to take home whatever he earned while they were married and let Katy have all of her hard-earned millions.

Wasn’t that gentlemanly of him? A source tells TMZ:

“This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).”

Say what you want about Russell Brand, but we think this proves that he’s a pretty stand-up guy…

If this piece of news is true, it looks like the English comedian likes a certain type…either that, or he wants his soon-to-be-ex-wife to know she’s not the only blue-eyed brunette that rocks his world.

Why Russell would allegedly target someone who looks almost exactly like his estranged wife, one can only guess. Especially as Zooey, who’s recently filed for divorced from her musician husband, Ben Gibbard around the same time Russell filed for divorce from Katy, happens to be a singer too!

“Russell has had his eye on Zooey for a long time. And he’s been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together.”

A source told OK! Magazine.

“He thinks she’s hysterically funny and cute, too. He loves her quirky sense of humor, and thinks they’d be great together both on-and off-screen. There’s a real spark there.”

The tabloid says the “New Girl” star is intrigued by Brand‘s interest (Who wouldn’t be?).

“But she’s heard about his reputation as a womanizer, and isn’t sure whether she’s ready to rush into another relationship so quickly.”

So is Zooey Deschanel going to see where a relationship with Russell Brand will lead her? Especially as she’ll always be compared to his soon-to-be-ex-wife?

Now that Russell Brand has been seen out and about with his virtual harem of beautiful ladies night after night…and has allegedly been trash-talking Katy to them, to boot…a devastated Katy looked for someone to turn to for solace, and reportedly fell right into the arms of one of her hunky backup dancers, Malik Le Nost…

Exactly. There’s not much we know about Malik Le Nost except that he’s currently working at Katy Perry‘s “California Dreams” world tour, and he has the most beautiful skin.

“During the tour last year, Katy became extremely close to her band and ­backing dancers,”

a source told the London Mirror.

“They all lived in each other’s pockets and ­everyone knew how much Katy was suffering – not least of all Malik.”

“Throughout her trip to ­Jakarta and Manila, Katy spent a lot of time with him and the pair would often stay up late into the night chatting and ­drinking in the hotel bar of The Ritz-Carlton.”

“When they were dancing on stage together, it was clear she only had eyes for him.”

Hmmm…bitter much?

Looks like Russell has left a lot of things unsaid before filing for divorce, and is making up for lost time by bad-mouthing Katy in front of the bevy of beauties he’s been seen with night after night. Didn’t these two meet for some last ditch talks to save their marriage? Looks like the dialogue may have turned ugly because Brand is certainly turning on the vitriol…

“She discovered through her friends,”

a source revealed to US Weekly.

“One of the women told a friend of hers and it got back to Katy.”

And here we thought Russell Brand was the kind of English gentleman who’d think to leave well enough alone…he filed the divorce papers, after all.

“He’s spoken terribly about Katy to them,”

the source continued, saying Russell has singled out a particular female from his string of ladies with whom he’d expressed the desire to “explore a relationship” with.

“[Russell] told her he wanted her to move in with him after the divorce is final.”

We think Russell Brand may be hurting very badly and reacting to that hurt in the wrong way, and Katy Perry‘s been keeping her mouth shut all this while in the face of rumor and speculation.
