Russell Crowe challenges gossip columnist to a duel! No, it’s not a gun duel like the old days, but on a bike. Russell didn’t like her comments or her story on his ‘fatty food and cigarette diet’, so he wanted to prove her wrong.

Russell had his agent call her up and give her the chance to see for herself how in shape he was. According to the Huffington Post:

Russell Crowe is looking hot! The actor had put on tons of pounds for “roles” in his last two movies, or so we were told, but secretly people were writing Russell for being over age and over weight.  His pictures released from Nottingham prove other wise though!

The Telegraph has a picture from the movie and I must say, Russell is back to his former self, smoking hot.  He isn’t wearing the tights of Robinhood, but who cares!

Cate Blanchett will play Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood film. Earlier this year, we reported that Sienna Miller was fired from the movie because she made Russell Crowe, the romantic lead, look too fat and old in comparison. Well it seems Cate has swooped in and turned Sienna’s misfortune into another rockin’ movie role. Go Cate!

Russell Crowe is a fat diva on the set of his latest flick “Nottingham” say sources at Page Six. The Robin Hood movie was set to start filming in February but has been pushed back to April due to Russell’s demands. He wants the script re-written and a new director, and is being so nasty about it that Sienna Miller has since dropped out of the production.
