“American Idol” without Ryan Seacrest? Who can imagine the show without the toothy and charming 37-year-old television host? But it seems Ryan‘s steadily escalating paychecks have the network powers-that-be shaking their heads at Ryan‘s astronomical asking fee…

Ryan‘s currently making $15 million a year as the host of “Idol.” Word on the street is, Ryan may have to take a pay cut to renew his contract with E! this year, or the network’s shopping for another host.

“There’s no way Fremantle and CKx will continue to pay Ryan that kind of money when he can be replaced for $2 million to $3 million,”

a source told The Hollywood Reporter.

The question is, will Ryan Seacrest agree to a pay cut, or will he play hardball with the network?

“It’s in Ryan‘s best interest to make them sweat — the company has new people running it and has to play the game.”

The source continued.

Hmmm…looks like an internal battle between Ryan and and the network is in the offing. Care to place your bets on who’ll come out the winner?

Kathy began by making remarks about how making fun of the E!News and American Idol host did wonders for her ticket sales, and openly questioned him about what kind of “smoke and mirrors” game he played to snare hot “Dancing With The Stars” dancer Julianne Hough.

Entertainment news heard Ryan shoot back with a slur of his own about the redhead comedian’s red, red lipstick, whereupon Griffin was on him in a trice and vigorously smudged her lipstick on his mouth in earnest right on prime time television.

“There, I just sold my soul to the devil,”

Kathy declared.

“Your career is over, you realize that?”

Ryan called out to her as she made her way back to the red carpet.

Which just got us wondering….is there some hidden flame smoldering between these two? In secret? Behind Julianne Hough‘s back?

Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough will not marry. Although there is potential for marriage as I keep going back and forth, I just can’t see the marriage. I feel they each think about it and hint but I do not see this relationship coming together to be legal in marriage. There is an uproar between them and Ryan will move on. He isn’t about to marry someone just because he feels pressured to do so, he is busy and when it comes to having a family of his own he would want to spend time with them. Right now he is setting a platform for this foundation of family. I don’t see him settling for another 2 years, but it won’t be with Julianne.

Lindsay Lohan will focus on her career this year and land a large role which will kick start her career. You will see her land big interviews of her talking about her struggles. She will fall again though, relationships are a huge issue for her.

Large earthquake will hit which will greatly affect the California area.

Nicole Kidman will become pregnant with her second child towards late 2011.

She also predicted that I will be very rich within three years.. Ok fine this one is my own prediction!

Well, whaddaya know…apparently he does!

The latest Hollywood gossip found out that Julianne‘s tonsil hockey sessions in the water were all part of the movie she’s starring in with Tom Cruise, “Rock of Ages”, and the cherubic Twilight doppelganger she swapped spit with is no other than co-star, Diego Boneta (Javier on “90210″)

Still, Ryan Seacrest, no matter how many ($45) millions you earn as a TV host, it must hurt pretty bad to see your girl really enjoying herself…if you know what we mean…

But don’t they look so hot together? Ryan, TV icon, host, producer and what not, one of the most eligible bachelors in Tinseltown, who we thought was gay so did his girlfriend before they started dating, looks to be hooked on his girlfriend Julianne. We can totally see why.

Come on Ryan bring back some big news. I say pop the question!

Ryan, 35 and Julianne, 22, have also been spending a lot time with his family while vacationing. Yesterday they were spotted checking out art galleries, shopping and strolling hand-in-hand through the streets of Paris together with Seacrest’s parents and his sister Meredith.

Hough has recently gushed about Ryan being “really romantic,” telling Ellen DeGeneres that for her birthday he put “flowers everywhere. I was almost embarrassed.”

How romantic!

It’s funny how Julianne thought Ryan was gay initially. We did too, he’s too well-groomed, too good looking. Well, he’s not gay and he’s a hot catch!

“Ryan was the one who first suggested Jennifer, but now he’s starting to regret it, because she’s acting like she’s a much bigger star than he is,” the insider says. “Ryan knows the diva behavior is likely to get worse before it gets better. Producers are trying to get them to make peace, but their egos are both pretty big.”

Nah — not so fast, Julianne Hough was just joking when she told a radio show this morning that she and Ryan Seacrest were thinking of having children.

“Didn’t you know? We’re having a baby!” she joked before quickly regretting her joke. “Oh, God,” she added, “now it’s going to be everywhere!”

Indeed! Thanks for the post, Julianne. Oh, and in case you were wondering — Ryan’s got a “little groove” on the dancefloor, but the pair don’t like to go dancing all that often.

TMZ reports, Hough was in town for her birthday dinner the other night with a bunch of friends at a Morton’s steak house. At one point during the meal, she was asked, “How did you and Ryan get together?”

Julianne replied, “He was after me since I was 18 … he totally wasn’t my type … I thought he was gay.” Hough continued, “After a few years, he was persistent … so I went out with him on a date and I realized how much I liked him.”

Oh, we thought Ryan was gay too. Too handsome, too clean out and too few women rumors. We have to say he’s a catch and Julianne and Ryan look terrific together, don’t they?

Ryan seems to have a string of women. Somehow, he and Julianne got serious recently…

On June 13, the couple walked on the beach in Malibu with their arms around each other. Three days later, they dined at intimate new L.A. hotspot Red O restaurant, where a diner says Seacrest, 35, “was very attentive.” And Sunday, Hough, 21, accompanied the American Idol host on another outing in Malibu, where the two shopped at Alice + Olivia.

Well, there are bigger age gaps in Hollywood, but Julianne is young! Being just 21, she hasn’t experienced life like Ryan has. Do you think he is taking advantage of Julianne?

Regardless, the two were spotted out and about this past weekend, but reps for both refuse to confirm or deny the affair. Seacrest took her to dinner last month, but Julianne swore up and down it was just for business.

I was curious about this Seacrest character and did a quick little google search about his dating history. He has “romanced” Australian model, Sophie Monk, Teri Hatcher and some other blonde bimbo-looking chick I couldn’t ID.

Julianne seems like his physical type, but who knows. The man seems more interested in his career then anything else.

As I’ve already noted in mind-numbing detail in today’s American Idol on-the-scene recap, Ryan Seacrest’s behavior was all kinds of bizarre, both on- and off-camera last night. Well, after the show, I got a chance (along with a few other journalists) to ask some of the Idol contestants about Seacrest’s antics.

Leave it to young Katie Stevens, meanwhile, to sleuth out that sleep deprivation was to blame for Ryan’s tomfoolery. ”I asked him, after dress rehearsal, ‘Ryan, what is up with you?’” said Stevens. “And he goes, ‘You know, I’m really, really tired right now, so I’m trying to fool myself into thinking that I’m awake.’ [He was] over-caffeinated.”

Didn’t Katie get voted off last night’s show too? Maybe she sleuthed a bit too much. Do you think Ryan will respond to these comments about his behavior? He was a bit kooky at the Grammy’s, but this takes the cake!

7:00 p.m.: Anna Paquin is wearing something very gold and sparkly and low cut, and she just basically told Ryan to shut up when he was needling her and Moyer for details about their engagement. Good for her.

It’s an engagement – big deal? It’s not like she’s spilling secrets for their show or something like that. Why does Anna want to keep how he popped the question secret? Is there some scandal involved? Why do you think Anna didn’t want to tell?

This is what happened. During a segment on Ryan’s radio show, he said the celebrity he’d like to taser most would be Heidi.  And Spencer was listening. Oops. Via US Magazine:

“I’m disgusted and horrified thatRyan Seacrest would find it amusing and entertaining to have his listeners call in about tasing anyone,” he told Us exclusively. What’s next, Ryan– guns and knives? Waterboarding? It is irresponsible and offensive for someone with your platform to promote violence on this level. For someone who produces reality content, I’m shocked that you’d encourage people to tase reality stars. Would it be funny to you if one of your Kardashians got tased? Is that how you treat your talent, Ryan?”

Since Paula’s contract is up and it appears she isn’t happy, now her co-stars are rallying their support. Suuuure. They just don’t want to have to do it alone! From People Magazine:

After Paula Abdul’s manager said that it appears the American Idol judge would not return for season 8 of the FOX hit, her costars are singing a different tune.

“She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show,” judge Simon Cowell told Extra on Monday. “I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show. ”

Meanwhile, host Ryan Seacrest expressed a similar sentiment. “I think as far as I know you’ll see everybody back,” he told the TV show. “I hope so.”

So, Simon and Ryan – who both happen to make millions more than Paula - want her back on the show. Maybe they can throw some money from their big contracts to lure her back. Would you watch without Paula?

According to Yahoo News: Under the pact, which is believed to be the richest ever for a reality host, Seacrest will be exclusive to CKX in broadcast TV primetime to host “Idol” or any CKX-produced show that might succeed it.
The pact which had been in the works for the past several weeks, more than triples Ryan’s previous salary of slightly less than $5 million per season.

Now could Ryan help me out and get me some sort of pact? I can be hired exclusively! Darn, he’s single, handsome and rich!

Someone close to the pair told RadarOnline:

RadarOnlne.com has learned that the American Idol host and aspiring TV mogul is hoping to tap Lohan to participate in a new series under his Ryan Seacrest Productions. The premise will involve celebrities helping people in need. A source close to the situation says, “Ryan thinks Lindsay would be a great way to start the series, and Lindsay thinks it will help rehabilitate her image.”

Lindsay later tweeted: “”Working on a really great project for television- I am excited! Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC.”

This is quite a gamble for Seacrest, but hell, he did produce that Kardashian show, too.

According to usmagazine.com, the song is aptly titled, “I’m A Celebrity” where Spencer rhymes about being famous, using Twitter, being in the “limelight” and loving his wife. It’s predictable and cliche, but thankfully the studio drowns out Spencer and really all you can hear is some generic voice blathering on. No word on whether this is a self-depracating joke (please, yes) or if Spencer is delusional enough to think he can make it as a hip hop star. You be the judge.

This morning on his radio show, Ryan Seacrest announced that he heard from a “reliable source” that Brit is pregnant again.

There have been rumors about her relationship with a backup dancer as well as the random story about the real estate agent that her people denied. Plus, earlier this week the news broke that Britney might be ending her tour early.

Oooooh…I didn’t know about the tour ending early!  I thought it was economy based, but maybe that’s just a convenient cover.  What’s your verdict – Britney’s pregnant or rumor?  A pregnancy wouldn’t be a good thing for Britney right now either…not only her physical health, but her mental health may suffer.
