Three years after her first pregnancy, the stunning blonde beauty is again with child—her second with husband of almost 10 years, Freddie Prinze, Jr.

A close pal of the couple tells Us Weekly:

“She and Freddie are thrilled… They’re amazing parents.”

And indeed they are. In fact, the two are so enamored of parenthood that they actually fight (good-naturedly, of course) over who gets to spend one-on-one time with their two-year-old, Charlotte Grace Prinze.

Gellar recently shared:

“We fight over who gets to stay home… You’d think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, ‘No, I’ll go to work!’ but he’s like, ‘You stayed home for two years! It’s my turn!’”

The “Ringer” star added:

“He and Charlotte have too much fun. I’m jealous!”

Aawww! That’s so sweet.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, the star of the age-old “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” is only one of the celebrities who have had their famous characters’ names and personas shadowing them. But apparently, the 34-year-old Sarah wasn’t always fond of it even though the bewitching series, which first aired in 1997 and ended in 2003, was what made Buffy—I mean Sarah—a household name.

She shares in an interview:

“Back then, if you’d called me Buffy I would probably have been really annoyed. Now, of course, I get it and I’m appreciative of it. But that’s something that comes with maturity, which most people don’t have when they’re 24 years old.”

Because of the fact that many of her fans saw her as Buffy, Sarah has always been somewhat conscious of her public image. And that couldn’t have been an easy challenge, imagine having to avoid being caught doing anything remotely bad by celebrity gossip websites so fans won’t be disappointed.

Sarah recalls:

“When I was younger, I was very careful not to… I just didn’t want to be seen with a drink in my hand. People looked up to ["Buffy the Vampire Slayer"], and she was a character that girls respected.”

Now that that was sort of out o the way, she can move on to being referred to as her character in “Ringer” and being a good role model for her 2-year-old daughter Charlotte, alongside hubby Freddie Prince Jr.

Hit or miss?

Sarah Michelle Gellar landed herself on many “worst-dressed” lists by various celebrity gossip websites with this dress, but what do you expect? It was picked out by little Charlotte, her 2-year-old daughter with hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr.

The former “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star, whose blue and white ink blot print strapless Monique Lhullier ball gown earned quite a few disses, admitted:

“It’s funny — I didn’t try on that many dresses. They had them all lined up and I was working all week and my 2-year-old walked in, walked up this dress and said, ‘Mama, wear this! So I put it on and said, ‘OK!”

The blonde stunner completed the outfit—or rather, her daughter did—with Jimmy Choo heels and Bulgari jewelry.

Sarah complemented the gown with a high ponytail, blue eye makeup, and old rose lipstick.

Contrary to popular opinion, we think Sarah’s look wasn’t all that bad… it was rather cute, actually! And to all the fashion critics who keep putting her down as one of the “worst-dressed” celebs at the Golden Globes… come on, have a heart! Little Charlotte will probably feel terrible when she finds out that the dress she picked out for her mom totally bombed…

…but, then again, she might be too young to understand it anyway.

Sarah Michelle and Freddie were married six years ago.  And they are still married!  It’s a Hollywood miracle…they weren’t hounded by the press and they still like each other!  From People Magazine:

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child together, a source close to the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. “They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that the actress, 31, is due in the fall.

What nice friends, to spill news like this to the press.  I bet Sarah Michelle and Freddie are thrilled it was leaked this way!  Congratulations to the happy couple anyway.

Sarah Michelle has been working as a producer and actress on an HBO pilot.  Freddie shot a pilot, but no word if it was picked up by ABC.  They might both have a lot of time on their hands if the shows don’t work.

A researcher has been studying many women and writing a book on her findings.  Dr. Kristen Aune, via INO says:

“In short, women are abandoning the church. Because of its focus on female empowerment, young women are attracted by Wicca, popularised by the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Young women tend to express egalitarian values and dislike the traditionalism and hierarchies they imagine are integral to the church.”

That puts a lot more weight than necessary on TV shows and their draw, doesn’t it?  I mean, who watches TV and says, hey, I’m not going on Sunday because I want to be like Buffy!  I think people are just tired of certain churches, their intolerance of other lifestyles and rigid rules.  What do you think?

on having kids:

“I can’t help it—every day people ask me that question. I sometimes feel like I’m doing something wrong. But when the time is right, we will. I just turned 30. There’s traveling I want to do. There’s charity work I want to do. I’m learning to believe in myself more, and I’m realizing things that I’m capable of accomplishing. And when we do have children, my husband and I will have such a strong foundation because we’ve given our relationship time to grow.

Gellar has pretty much the same thoughts about having kids as she did a few months back when she posed for Maxim magazine as well.  she told Maxim  magazine in its December issue that she’s not ready to have a child yet. “Right now I want to live my life and have fun. I want to go sit in my Jacuzzi and drink wine all night.” Great thinking! Sarah was namely Woman of the Year by Maxim magazine last year.
