Celebrity news has learned that ANNASOPHIA ROBB is the new Carrie Bradshaw on CW’s prequel to the popular New York-based series, “The Carrie Diaries.”
And as a townie Carrie before she even stepped on the concretes of New York.
The young blue-eyed star from “Soul Surfer” AnnaSophia Robb will be leading the new series, “The Carrie Diaries,” which serves as a prequel to the HBO original sexy and smart “Sex and the City” that starred Sarah Jessica Parker as the original Carrie Bradshaw after it aired its last episode in 2004 and movie sequel of the same name in 2010.
Blake Lively might get to play the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw in a Sex and the City prequel. There are rumors flying about that the young starlet could land the role – since she is good at playing characters with a fashion sense?
Blake has been in Gossip Girl and a few movies. Does she have what it takes to headline a giant movie franchise like this?
