Shania Twain will be a guest judge on American Idol.  The Idol producers aren’t wasting any time filling Paula Abdul’s vacant seat. It almost makes one wonder if they are proving they have no intention of meeting Paula’s demands, even after she relented and said she would consider coming back…for the right price.

Shania Twain announced she and her husband of 14 years were getting divorced last month.  Yesterday, she finally made a public comment on her MySpace Page about the heart-breaking ordeal.

The split was rumored to be because of an affair between her husband Mutt Lange and a friend who ran one of their estates.  Both parties denied an affair, but Shania’s blog seems to say otherwise.  This is what she said:

Shania Twain filed for divorce from her music producer husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange of 14 years apparently because of Twain’s ex-secretary & house manager, Marie-Anne Thiébaud, she’s the one on the right side, Shania on the left!

Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship,” says one source, adding that the Swiss employee was a fixture in the household Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, shared with their son, 6-year-old Eja D’Angelo. – People magazine.
