SIMON COWELL: I Don’t Want Kids
Unlike some people we know who have 14 of their own, “X-Factor” boss SIMON COWELL says he doesn’t want kids. We’re guessing he’s really in touch with his inner meanness and is being realistic about it by not starting a family. Not by a long chance, no way.
So it must be quite a disappointment for his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy who must face the fact the she won’t be having any tiny replicas of her man, all because “Simon says”.
The latest entertainment news is that former ‘American Idol’ judge PAULA ABDUL has just officially signed on to be a judge on ‘The X Factor’. Looks like Paula will be re-united with fellow ex-’Idol’ judge SIMON COWELL once more—admit it, you’ve missed the catty exchanges!
Paula, who left ‘American Idol’ to start her own show, ‘Live to Dance’ (which was a flop), was Simon’s first choice for his show. She signed the contracts last Saturday, making her an official part of ‘X-Factor’, which will be airing in September.
SIMON COWELL wants PAULA ABDUL and CHERYL COLE to be on the judge’s panel of The X FACTOR! It looks like Cowell has finally made up his mind about his judges for his US Version of The X Factor; which debuts this fall on Fox.
Cowell told Deadline.com all about how he’s been assembling his judge’s panel.
“First of all, it’s like casting a dinner party. You’ve got to have people on the panel you get on well with.” Cowell has made it clear that he has finally decided on his judging panel.
MARIAH CAREY has been confirmed to take part in the star-studded “X Factor” show; Simon Cowell has confirmed on a recent radio interview that Carey will be taking part on the show. As to what role? We aren’t 100% certain but looks like she’ll be the judge of all judges!
Cowell initially shot down reports that the very pregnant Mariah was going to be one of his judges due to her pregnancy but now Cowell is saying otherwise.
X Factor Wants YOU!
Simon Cowell’s highly anticipated X Factor is kicking off its search for the next big star in LA today, March 27! $5 million prize! Interested? Get on with it..
What will Simon and the other judges be looking for when it comes to inching towards X Factor’s life-changing $5 million prize?
“We want to find somebody who in the real world can compete with some of the most successful artists around at the moment, be it Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Glee,” Simon tells Life & Style. “You don’t just want a talent show winner, you want to find a star.”
Simon Cowell is set to be a judge on his US version of X Factor. Simon is releasing a few details on the show to generate a bit of buzz. The show isn’t set to air until the fall of 2011. Can he make this one a success like American Idol or are there too many talent shows out?
Does the US really need another talent show? Are there that many people who can really sing that haven’t been discovered yet?
