Steven was hurt this summer when he fell from a stage, but Joey Kramer (drummer) says things have been escalating for a while. From People Magazine:

Steven Tyler is injured on stage. The frontman for Aerosmith was performing for a big crowd at the Bike Rally’s in Sturgis, South Dakota when things got a bit tipsy. Steven appeared to fall backwards, and not in a stage dive to the crowd.

People watching the concert said that Steven went out on a catwalk by the stage, but then fell over backwards. From the Associated Press:

It seems that Steven Tyler wasn’t in rehab for his ‘foot’ disorder. More like the drugs he took for the foot disorder…

Steven showed up with his band Aerosmith over the weekend to promote the release of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith version and had a few words for the press. People Magazine reports it was pain and sleep medications he was addicted to and had to get clean over, not foot problems.
