The 18-year-old former “Gossip Girl” actress and now frontwoman of the band, The Pretty Reckless, sings a surprisingly soft breakup ballad…

…which is quite a departure from her usual hard-edged rock, where she’s screeching out tunes onstage while taking her clothes off at the same time. Okay, so she’s pretty much undressed in this one, but we’re surprised that she’s surprised us (once again) with this music video…

Momsen, who got kicked out of “Gossip Girl” for alleged unprofessional behavior, shocked everyone after she cleaned up her act long enough to make a sexy appearance at the Marchesa show at New York Fashion Week last February 15 wearing a stunning black lace dress by the brand, toned down makeup, and her hair done in a semi-orderly swept up style.

Despite trying so hard to cultivate a hard rock image, complete with nipple pasties, girl-on-girl action onstage, and stripper heels, Taylor Momsen, who once played Cindy Lou Who in “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” is filmed through a soft-focus lens looking wistful and vulnerable in her form-hugging tank top as she reminisces about an old boyfriend in a shabby chic-style apartment that features packing boxes for furniture.

She pulls out a reel of 16mm film and flashes black-and-white footage on the wall of a naked, faceless woman we presume to be her, having tender sex with a former lover, while her voice lends a sweet melancholy ode to lost love.

The “Pretty Reckless” singer, who is known for her racy rocker fashion choices (nipple pasties and lingerie, anyone?) donned a conservative—for her, that is—look at the Marchesa fashion show earlier this week. She walked the red carpet in a lacy black dress with long sleeves and a high collar, which she paired with simple, nude pointed-toe pumps.

Taylor wore her blonde hair up in a loose updo and sported pale pink lips and a slightly toned down version of her signature “raccoon” eye makeup.

Oh, and of course, Taylor was sporting her favorite accessory… a scowl.

Taylor loves wearing nipple pasties and showing off her breasts… it’s obviously not a surprise that she loves stripper shoes, too.

The 18-year-old “Pretty Reckless” rocker, who appears on the cover of this month’s FHM issue, tells the magazine:

“I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones!”

Taylor continues:

“I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes. I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that’s funny. I’m 5’8”. So I’m really tall.”

She adds:

“I got into heels when I was little… My mom’s really short so she always wears really tall heels and I used to steal them and now it’s just a part of my everyday life.”

Ironically, despite her tendency to overdo the whole badass rocker chick look, Taylor says she isn’t likely to take notice of a guy who tends to “overdress.” The former “Gossip Girl” actress shares:

“I don’t like guys who overdress. And I don’t like guys who try too hard.”

“I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band. That’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully, I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life.”

Its pretty much all that’s left for her to do, after getting on the wrong side of the “Gossip Girl” powers-that-be.

Taylor claims all she wants to do is concentrate on her music and on her band The Pretty Reckless, and of course, flashing her now legal (as of last month) boobies onstage, making out with female members of her audience, and adding camel toe to her concert repertoire…anything to escape the stigma of having played Cindy Lou Who in “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”

Yes, the former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress is at it again. While performing at an intimate show in Barcelona, Spain, Taylor decided to give celebrity gossip websites something new to talk about by straddling a female fan (who was wearing nothing but a black bra)—while surrounded by a bunch of other half-naked girls—and giving her a very raunchy lap dance.

Taylor seems to really like playing up the lesbian thing—this isn’t the first time she’s done a sexy dance for a girl while onstage, and we’re guessing it won’t be the last.

The underage bad girl has done a lot of shocking things on and off stage, including flashing her breasts during a concert, telling people that she “f**ked a priest,” burning her neutered dog’s testicles in the recording studio, and a WHOLE lot more.

Who thinks Taylor NEEDS to seek professional help?

If you know Taylor from her ‘Gossip Girl’ days, then you’ve watched her transition from sweet, social-climbing Little J to raccoon-eyed, out-of-control Jenny. And apparently, she’s undergone the same transition in real life. Now that she’s a rockstar, Taylor has done everything in her power to shock people, including flashing her breasts (though covered with nipple pasties) at a concert. And we’re guessing she liked it so much, she’s making it her new “thing.”  She hasn’t been on Hollywood news and gossip lately, but she definitely made her comeback last June 12, at the Download Festival 2011 in the UK.

How? The singer/actress strutted her stuff on the red carpet in a grungy sleeveless black top with huge armholes that reached past her chest area… and everyone could see her boobs in all their 17-year old glory. And of course, true to form, she had them covered with nothing but some X-shaped nipple pasties.

Celebrity gossip websites reported that the ex-Gossip Girl regular had been suspended last November due to her controversial antics “creative reasons”, having channeled her temperamental teen star character, Jenny Humphrey into real life, big time.

Frankly, we much preferred her as Cindy Lou.

So what’s in store for 17-year-old Momsen now, apart from throatily groaning her way through her band’s, The Pretty Reckless’ gigs or rocking raccoon eyes, streetwalker fishnets, and lucite heels on the street?

Well, Momsen would like to say she’s sorry. Especially toward her parents as she told the press last year they forced her into acting at a young age.

“[After reading the article, they felt] horrible! I love my mom and dad. Maybe I didn’t have the childhood people think you should have, but I still went through the ages, I was still a child. Maybe it wasn’t a conventional one, but you know… I like where I am now so it’s okay. I think my parents have learned by this point that none of [what they read] is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth.”

Grat she apologized, but do you think Taylor Momsen has truly outgrown her outbursts?

Momsen took the stage in Glasgow, Scotland and yelled to the crowd:

“We’re The Pretty Reckless and we’ve heard that Glasgow is the craziest crowd in all of England.”

“Glasgow, I love you,” she tweeted after the concert. “I now HAVE to tour SCOTLAND.” She added in parentheses, “haha, sorry bout the slip up!”

She said in a Celebuzz.com interview:

“I’m a promoter of masturbation. Don’t sleep around—learn yourself first! Guys do, but girls don’t. And that’s why girls have so many bad experiences. But you can know your body, know yourself, know what feels good. You don’t have to give yourself away just to have sexual relevance. Because I don’t think sex is something people should be afraid of. It’s part of human nature, so I don’t think it should be so shameful—particularly for girls and young girls.”

Deadline Hollywood was the first outlet to pick up the story and they say Momsen has entered an “indefinite haitus.” While nobody went into details, it’s likely Momsen was fired due to her outrageous interviews and skanky stage performances.

“Although reps for The CW and producer Warner Bros. declined to comment, sources confirm that Momsen’s Jenny will be MIA for at least four episodes beginning with the show’s midseason finale on Dec. 6. The news comes as the 17-year-old Pretty Reckless singer’s off-screen antics continue to raise eyebrows.”

Momsen said in a recent interview:

“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?’ My parents signed me up with Ford (modeling agency) at the age of two. No two year old wants to be working, but I had no choice. My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”

According to an eye witness who was at the show in New York City:

“Wearing stripper heels and a necklace that said “Slave,” Taylor opened up her shirt and exposed her breasts (“tasetfully” covered by pasties) during a PAPER Magazine & Express Celebrate “Rock The Sidewalk” event! Not only that, she ran her hands up and down her body, groping her chest after exposing it!”

Tim made a cameo on her show, Gossip Girl and it didn’t take long for him to form an opinion.

“What a diva!” he told E! News of the 17-year-old. “She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself ‘why are we all being held hostage by this brat?”

The main problem, he says, was her constant BlackBerry use.

“I’d say, ‘You know young lady, there are hundreds of thousands of girls who are just as attractive and even smarter than you. Why are you acting like this show is a huge burden on you?’ She was on her phone during every break, I wanted to tell her, ‘If you weren’t on your BlackBerry, you can retain this stuff.’ ”

Gunn says that he’s not trying to assasinate her character, but that she annoyed the director and the entire crew.

I bet Taylor will come back swinging, saying something to try an assasinate his character. What could she possibly say about him?

Momsen by any 17-year old standard is super successful, she’s an actress and a singer yet she’s always under scrutiny for being too bold, too much makeup and of course the way she dresses plus her smoking habit.

According to a source, Rihanna didn’t enjoy being talked down to by a 17-year-old (which is understandable.)

“Rihanna did not take kindly to a 17-year-old making such rude comments about her, especially since they flooded the internet as soon as they were released,” a source said. “She got Taylor’s number through a friend and called her up, telling her to back off and act her age. Rihanna is not the kind of person you want to mess with.”

Part of me believes this seeing as Taylor took it all back a few days later, but I don’t know, do you really think Rihanna cares what Taylor Momsen has to say about her wearing leather jackets? Seems a bit petty.
