Taylor dazzled sans the innocent light-colored dresses and the sparkles with her sleeveless Elie Saab gown at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, where she was awarded “Woman of the Year.”

Keeping up with her incredibly long streak of winning looks, the country crooner opted for a red full-length chiffon sleeveless gown with a flowing skirt and an elegant lace bodice with sheer panels and accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry.

It seems Taylor has truly said goodbye to her trademark curls as her glowing blond hair was, again, sleek and straight. Smoky red-and-black shadows and a natural pink lip gave her a vampish look.

Her overall vampy look seemed a little heavy on sweet Taylor mainly because we have gotten used to her light and creamy outfits, but we are definitely intrigued by the new direction.

Coincidence?

Taylor Swift, who arrived without her cancer-stricken date, handled herself like a pro after being called the wrong name by a reporter who interviewed her on the red carpet of the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas Sunday night. The “Lorax” star, who won the Entertainer of the Year award later that night, simply looked to the side with an undeniably puzzled look and walked away as the camera zoomed in on the reporter as she wrapped up her report.

Maybe it was an April Fools’ joke? If it was, it could’ve damaged Taylor‘s image but good thing everyone—excluding the seemingly clueless reporter, obviously—knew who the “Love Story” singer was!

And it’s not even April Fool’s yet!

Justin Bieber successfully pranked Taylor Swift for the pilot of the newly returned “Punk’d” and he was totally right about the country sweetheart breaking into tears! Luckily he didn’t get reprimanded for it.

As previously reported, the pop singer intended to prank his pal by making her think that they were going to write a song together but “accidentally” caused a fire at a nearby boat, making the wedding party swim back to shore for their dear lives.

You could almost feel the fear and embarrassment as TSwift started to panic! Aww, poor girl!

A few months after debuting her first official ”Hunger Games” song, “Safe and Sound,” Swift played her second song for the movie, “Eyes Open,” for the very first time at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

Before playing the much-awaited track, Taylor teased the audience:

“You don’t think I’d get in trouble if I played it now? Probably not, right? I don’t know, what do you think?”

The top-selling artist, Taylor Swift, sings a far from mellow track titled “Eyes Open” for for “The Hunger Games” (which is out on the 23rd starring the gorgeous Jennifer Lawrence) and many have speculated that the rocking track may very well be for its end credits. We haven’t listened to the whole thing yet but with Taylor singing it delicately for the first few seconds and rocking out the next—unlike her other folky track for the movie titled “Safe And Sound”—this one definitely sounds fitting!

Hell hath no fury and success like a woman scorned!

Taylor Swift has no reason to be unhappy no more as her latest album “Speak Now” earned her at least $35 million just for last year, earning the top spot as the top money maker according to Billboard 2011! All that inspiration from the country pop’s numerous unfortunate relationships did her good after all.

Coming in #2 was the band U2, with a little under $32 million, followed by Kenny Chesney, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne.

Taylor Swift may just be seeing Tim Tebow as her new potential man of the moment after having stopped dating for so long. We wouldn’t blame her, the religious (and virginal!) Denver Broncos quarterback is definitely far from the types that she used to date, namely John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and Joe Jonas. After being spotted having dinner before the Oscars and confirming that their friendship was strictly platonic, it seems that our little “Love Story” singer is definitely feeling something else!

A source tells Us Weekly:

“The ‘Mean’ singer looked upon the famously pious, abstinent NFL star ‘like a little puppy dog’ at Tosconova.”

The observer adds:

“There were no public displays of affection between Taylor and Tim but she surely looked happy to be there!”

Another source shared:

“Yes, she has a crush on him. She is a massive fan, but I don’t think he sees her that way. They actually have been speaking a lot about the Bible and Christianity . . .Right now it’s on the friendship tip – even though that frustrates her.”

Definitely doesn’t sound like the fairy tale love that Taylor‘s always sung about. She’s gonna have to do more than just being pretty and famous to get her new prince!

What happened to Ashton Kutcher?

After a five-year hiatus for the MTV celebrity prank show, producer Ashton Kutcher leaves the rails of “Punk’d” to Justin Bieber who then decides to punk country pop singer and friend Taylor Swift. In the pilot episode, Justin persuades Taylor to set off some fireworks that would “accidentally” land on a yacht where a wedding ceremony was being held, leaving the yacht in flames and the wedding party swimming back to shore to save their lives.

Apparently, it was also the “Baby” singer who suggested that they prank Swift:

“I think we should start with Taylor [Swift]. She’s the sweetest girl ever.”

However, entertainment news say that Justin won’t be hosting the show for long as the rest of the episodes for the ninth season is set to be hosted next by Miley Cyrus, Neil Patrick Harris, “Twilight” star Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera and former “Punk’d” actor Dax Shepard among others, whose victims include Khloe Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Liam Hemsworth and Tyler Posey.

So it seems more likely that Taylor is not dating the footballer after all.

A rep for the Century City restaurant in California, where the “Mean” singer had her “date” with Tebow, confirms that the two did indeed have dinner together. However, one of the diners—who was also at the restaurant at the time of the Swift-Tebow dinner date—reveals that the couple’s dinner seemed completely platonic.
The eyewitness tells PEOPLE:

“I would say they came in more as friends… Taylor came in with another young male and seemed to be with him more than Tebow.”

The source adds:

“However, it was very hard to determine because they all seemed to be good friends.”

Apparently, there were five people in the group—Tim, Taylor and her mystery guy, and two others.

Doesn’t sound like a date to us.

Could he be Taylor‘s newest man?

Recently reported by star news to be flirting with each other at the WME’s pre-Oscars party last Friday, Taylor Swift and football quarterback Tim Tebow were spotted once again arriving and having dinner together at the Toscanova restaurant in LA. Well, okay, they may have been with their agents but their “business meeting” alibi sure won’t fool us! The country pop princess, who recently denied romance rumors between herself and “The Lorax” co-star Zac Efron and claimed that she was determined to stay single for a while, was also escorted out the restaurant doors by Tim afterwards.

Considering that they seem to share the same Christian values—not to mention the fact that Tim doesn’t seem to be afraid of being in close quarters with the singer who is very public about her many failed past relationships (at least lyrically)—we have to admit that they would sound like the ideal, God-fearing couple.

And if it doesn’t work out in the end, at least we can expect another composition with obvious hints of an Italian restaurant or a pre-Oscar party incorporated the lyrics!

Taylor seems like such a good person, doesn’t she? The philanthropic singer has plenty of good deeds under her belt, including organizing a tornado relief concert to help the victims of the tornado disasters last year and donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Red Cross to help those affected by the floods in Iowa back in 2008… and now she can add one more.

It all started when a fan named Victoria McGuire created a Facebook page—which went viral overnight and has since garnered support from over 100,000 Facebook users—to plead with the “Sparks Fly” singer to accompany her cancer-stricken brother, Kevin, to his prom on June 1. On the page, Victoria wrote:

“My little brother- Kevin McGuire- was first diagnosed with Leukemia ALL when he was 13 years old and was in the seventh grade. He fought the battle of his life.. undergoing years of chemo, digesting over 35 pills a night, hundreds of spinal taps, and numerous bone marrow screenings.. and ultimately won his battle with cancer on April 24, 2010.”

She continued:

“All through out Kevin‘s treatment he kept his character in tact, remained playing basketball, and even started varsity football as a freshman. Kevin is known through out the community as the High school’s “real life SUPER MAN!””

Victoria added:

“Tragically, Kevin had a relapse, and is now fighting cancer for the second time. Kevin is the kindest, most noble 18 year old a person could even fathom meeting, and through out his ups and downs Kevin never even questioned ” why me?” Nothing, and I mean NOTHING brightens Kevin‘s day more than Taylor Swift. Kevin DESERVES more than anyone a special event in his life.. and the one thing he wants is to GO TO PROM WITH TAYLOR SWIFT! Let’s make this happen people! TAYLOR PLEASE GO TO PROM WITH KEVIN!!!!!! NO ONE DESERVES IT MORE! PS PROM JUST SO HAPPENS TO FALL ON HIS BIRTHDAY!”

When Taylor got wind of the page, she posted a reply on her own Facebook page:

“Kevin, I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up.. Would you be my date?

Love, Taylor”

Wasn’t that sweet of her?

The way we see it, it appears as if it’s Zac Efron‘s first public try at the guitar, but hey…he’s been in three “High School Musical” movies, so the singing wasn’t too much of a big deal for him. But the questions remains…if they make beautiful music together onscreen…does that mean they’re singing love songs to each other off-screen, as well?

“We are not a couple,”

Taylor Swift stressed on the show.

“He’s awesome, but we are not a couple.”

Bet she’d want to be a couple, though…eh? Too bad he’s already taken.

I know what you’re thinking… How can a party that is named as such be fun? We were dying for Taylor’s explanation.

The single 22-year-old country singer was on “Ellen“ with Efron to promote their new Dr. Seuss movie, “The Lorax,” when she shared how she turned her otherwise lonely Valentine’s day around by celebrating her being single—without boys or any of her famous exes, Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, or her recent secret fling, “My Week With Marilyn” star Eddie Redmayne. The party was said to be exclusively for her and her single girl friends.

Taylor explained:

“I’m not saying that being single is pathetic. We’ve talked about this. I think it’s awesome.”

She told Ellen:

“[Taylor and her guests] just ate whatever we wanted and danced. We made these little profile cards about why we’re single.”

Would there be new hit coming from this yet another poignant occasion in the life of Taylor Swift?

Taylor, who last walked the red carpet in a sparkling gold dress at the Grammy Awards, opted for a simple, clean look for the premiere of her first animated movie, “The Lorax,” in which she lends her voice to Audrey, the love interest of Zac Efron’s character, Ted.

The style of Taylor’s Honor dress is something we often see on the 22-year-old country singer—sleeveless, fitted around the waist, and with a pleated A-line skirt.

It might predictable, but there are a few interesting details to note, such as the peculiar neckline and the sheer nude panels on both sides.

Taylor finished the look with low-heeled gold peep-toe shoes, Neil Lane jewelry, a soft updo, natural eye makeup, and glossy pink lips.

We’re sure by now most of you are aware that Taylor’s go-to look for the red carpet is a strapless gown that’s in the color gold (or silver) and is usually adorned with sparkling beads and sequins.

Predictably, the singer used the same formula at the 2012 Grammy Awards—but thankfully, it wasn’t strapless.

Taylor went with an intricately embroidered Zuhair Muard gown, which featured a Chinese collar, a sheer panel on the bodice, and a long, flowing train.

She completed the outfit with Prada heels and simple Neil Lane jewelry.

As for hair and makep, Taylor opted for a bun (quite a departure from her usual cascading curls), shimmery gold and brown eye makeup, and pink lips.

Wait…what? We didn’t even know they were dating!

If this report is true, it would appear Taylor Swift is bent on setting the record for the youngest celebrity ever to be dumped by other celebrities…John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner…and now Eddie Redmayne…

The two apparently met when Swift was auditioning for the role of Eponine (which she lost to Samantha Barks) in the big screen version of “Les Miserables.”

“They hung out in New York City with the movie’s execs,”

a source told Hollywood Life.

“And Taylor developed feelings for him fast.”

So this Eddie Redmayne…is he a smoothie, or what?

“Taylor loved the image of a British boyfriend,”

the source continued.

Unfortunately, Taylor wasn’t cast as Eponine, and Eddie Redmayne, while interested in Taylor, wasn’t into having a girlfriend in the States while filming in London.

“Eddie’s not interesting in a long-distance relationship. The elements were against them. It’s a shame.”

The source lamented.

And we’re guessing Taylor Swift will be lamenting in the form of another song. Watch for it…
