The armed forces are watching America’s back 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without asking for anything in return, just being proud to serve their country and protect the freedoms most of us take for granted.
Now it’s time for Americans to return the sentiment. With the “Got Your 6″ program, jobs, education, health care and housing are secured for America’s veterans, who might otherwise find it difficult to get those same necessities the average citizen might take for granted. Here are a couple of celebrity-endorsed PSAs:
Hollywood news and gossip has the latest on upcoming movies – JULIA ROBERTS and TOM HANKS are teaming up to film a flick on the recession. In “Larry Crowne”, Everyman Tom plays the title role as a guy who loses his job and Julia plays an alcoholic teacher in a movie that focuses on the recession raging in America and how ordinary people have remade themselves to cope with the financial crisis.

Tom Hanks was on Regis and Kelly earlier and he mistakenly called Kelly Ripa “Kathie Lee”! Kelly has been the co-host for the past nine years prior to that it was Kathie Lee who co-hosted the show with Regis Philbin. Hanks quickly apologized. (watch video below)

Julia Roberts had a dirty mouth, swearing and using several curse words at a tribute for Tom Hanks. Julia attended a Film Society at Lincoln Center event on Monday night and stormed the stage with a raunchy roast of Tom Hanks, saying he looked like an “immigrant lost” in his movie The Terminal and she couldn’t stand his hair in The Ladykillers.

Tom Hanks can’t film his latest movie – Angels & Demons – in ANY Roman Catholic Churches, according to the Catholic Diocese. He and the movie company had sought approval to film in two different churches for the prequel to the Da Vinci Code movie.

Once they heard the name Dan Brown, who is the author of the bestselling novels, they refused immediately out of principal. His story refutes what the Catholics have been teaching for years.
