Tony popped the question on Candice’s 24th birthday.. Oh thinking of birthdays, Tony booted Jessica on her 29th birthday. That was very mean. Could have done it on a different occasion Tony. Candice turned 24 yesterday on December 16.

Tony started dating Candice shortly after breaking up with Jessica. You do the math, Jess’ birthday is on July 10th so.. the couple must have been dating for over a year.

Well, glad he’s found true love. Jessica herself is engaged to her beau, Eric Johnson. Coincidentally her other ex, Nick Lachey is also engaged to his 5-year girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo. So looks like everyone is happy.

Congratulations to all the happy couples! So despite the midst of so many breakups, we have lots of happy pairs!

Yes, the Crawfords have great genes, Candice won the title of Miss Missouri in 2008. And surely you must agree that Chace is very good looking, right?

ESPN reports that Romo said, “It doesn’t feel good, but it’s just normal,” “I didn’t know that it was broken. I was kind of in shock. When it happens your body kind of goes in shock and I had a hard time breathing. I tried catching my breath, and when I did, it was hard to move this [left] shoulder. It felt like a good sprain and I was just trying to get back in. I was just really light headed.”

Romo tried to return to the game in the second quarter, but associate athletic trainer Britt Brown pulled him back to the sideline area.

Romo added, “I was upset, disappointed, I was frustrated,” “You work very hard to play in these games, to be in these positions. We were in a good position. I don’t remember the exact score, I think it was around 10 or something we had right at that point we were leading the game and that was a big possession.”

We all know Tony used to date Jessica Simpson, right? He’s been seeing Candice Crawford, the gorgeous sister of Chace Crawford.

“Normally you would think that somebody you care about would keep those intimate details to himself,” she continued. “I mean, it was definitely a compliment—in a way—but I don’t really want people to know that about me. I’m like the good girl, and then that happens.”

 
Jess did say that John is a great musician and a great guy as well and she’ll always care about him. Very Diplomatic and classy I thought. There you go Jessica!

Carrie Underwood did an interview with Esquire magazine recently, and made sure it was clear her song “Cowboy Casanova” was not about Tony!

She said in the article, “No, I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit.”

Ha! So she admits Tony did her wrong too. He dumps Jessica Simpson on her birthday eve and he dumps Carrie. What is it with the guy and blonde bombshells? He can’t keep their interest?

If a normal person had gotten dumped like Jess did, they would be bent on some sort of vengeance. I mean, he left her in a store parking lot and dumped her the day before her birthday. What man does that? Via Hollyscoop:

After the Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, she wrote: “My pink jersey was nowhere in sight ;) I was screaming in my parents’ TV in Dallas gear though.”

She also wrote “‘Tougher Than The Rest’ YAY 9,” which is believed to be a shout-out to Tony, who wears that number. We’re surprised Jess would admit to still rooting for the Cowboys, since so many fans gave her a hard time when they were together, even calling her a “jinx.”

Jess seems a bit too nice here. She isn’t working on rekindling a romance with Tony, is she?

“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for Jessica. It’s opened up a lot of old wounds. She’s pretty insecure about herself.”

The funny thing is Candice is the spitting image of Jessica. She’s literally just a younger, thinner version of Jess.

Gee, what do you think Tony’s type is? He dated Carrie Underwood before Jess, so I’m guessing he is in to long haired blondes with blue eyes? Somehow, this doesn’t make me like Tony…I feel bad for Jess, since he seemed to move on quickly.

Girlfriends trying to “comfort” JESSICA SIMPSON post-breakup helpfully divulged that dog Tony Romo hit on not one…not two…but THREE of them while he and Jess were still together!

One friend told her: “We were at a party when you were out of town and I ran into Tony. We were friendly, just talking. But the more he drank, the more friendly he got. Finally, he said, ‘You know, you and I should get together – Jessica doesn’t need to find out!’”

Others said Tony would get “all grabby and kissy-face,” but they’d push him away. The girls never told Jessica, knowing she’d “kill the messenger…or confront Tony, who’d swear the girls were hitting on him, and a stupid war would start,” said the friend.

“This is tearing Jessica apart. Every guy she’s been with lately, like John Mayer and Tony, have had womanizing issues. She’s picking ‘em worse, not better.”

You know you’ve reached a new low entirely when John Mayer’s douche-tastic ways seem gentlemanly.

Tony Romo, the NFL star dumped Jessica the night before her 29th birthday last month.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: “Jessica is normally a really sweet girl, but she still can’t believe Tony callously dumped her.”“She found a woman in California. The two met at the star’s Beverly Hills home where they lit a candle, burned some incense and performed a couple of incantations.” – via The Times

As the story goes  Simpson hopes this will also taint Romo’s career, and is waiting in readiness for his next match on September 13, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, Jessica has reportedly been seeing Tony Romo’s football rival, Colt Brennan – the Washington Redskins’ quarterback.

Don’t know what to believe but I think the best thing is to just move on.

His name is Colt Brennan and according to the magazine, he pursued her. Jessica purchased football tickets and plans on (probably) wearing one of those tacky jerseys and showing up at his game. Ugh.

“This is a huge stab in the back for Tony, because the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins hate each other,” a source tells Star. “Jessica must really want revenge!” Colt, 26, began chasing Jessica back in July with sexy e-mails and text messges . The pair even set up webcams so they could chat face-to-face through their computers. And now, “Colt sent Jessica tickets for his Sept. 13 game against the N.Y. Giants,” the source adds. “And on July 31, Colt FedEx’d her a Redskins jersey. If she wears that jersey to the game, you know it means she’s playing rough!”

Oh, wow. Looks like Jessica wasn’t crying at her birthday party afterall!

Multiple sources tell Us Weekly that Romo had been sending “flirty texts” to Natalie for months while he was still dating Simpson. Apparently Smith is the daughter of the associate athletic director at Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University.

“We hung out for, like 10 to 15 minutes, backstage,” Smith tells Us Weekly (on newsstands ). “She [Jessica Simpson] was cool and nice.” Sources say that Romo was having an emotional affair with Smith months before dumping Simpson on July 9, the eve of her 29th birthday.

Romo, 29, and Smith, 22, “are are not officially dating, but they are having an intimate relationship.”

Her support system has opened up to People.com to say she “doesn’t take break-ups well.” Afterall, she did consider Romo the “love of her life.”

“So far, Simpson has been coping with the split by living a low-key life and seeking solace with her parents, who “encourage her to go out and have a good time, like she did this week…she feels she’s being judged by the world and opts to hide out at home. The family feels bad for Jessica. They worry for her a lot…the family used to have such faith in [Jessica] and they worried about Ashlee. Now they are fully confident in Ashlee‘s choices and they worry most of their days about Jessica. It seems she just can’t catch a break.”

“He’ll win. Tony is playing with Tiger tomorrow. That’s all I’m thinking about.”

Nice, diplomatic answer. As usmagazine.com reports, Tony was asked the same question a few days ago by  Entertainment Weekly and waved it off with a: “There are none that I can think of…I’m sure you guys can tell me something new here soon enough, though.”

Jessica quietly slipped in to relax mode after being on tour for several months with Rascal Flatts. It looks like she lost a bunch of weight too. Jessica looks hot! But back to Tony’s birthday present. Jessica bought him a large, very expensive boat. This is what TransWorld News says about the boat:

Jessica Simpson reportedly gave boyfriend Tony Romo a speedboat for his 28th birthday last month. Sources say the singer spent $100,000 on the boat and surprised him with it at their home in Texas.

“Jessica knows that Tony has always wanted a boat,” says a source.

Simpson allegedly had other motives for giving the Dallas Cowboys quarterback the expensive gift – marriage. “(She’s) hoping that her birthday gift will lead to marriage, and by this time next year she’ll be walking down the aisle with him,” the insider adds.
