“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” hits theaters today! The Transformers sequel is one of the most anticipated movies of the summer if not the most; it should be nothing less than a huge box-office hitter. Exhibitor Relations expects a five-day U.S. box office total of $175 million (including a $110 million weekend haul) as reports by Forbes.

Shia LaBeouf almost lost an eye when shooting Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. In his own words, Shia “mistimed” a scene and “impaled” his eye. This sounds almost too gruesome to be true, but then “dark, dark purplish” blood began pouring out of his eye.

While one may shriek in horror at such a sight, Shia says the dark purple was actually a good sign. He told Access Hollywood:

I’m Not Obsessed reports that Megan had a heavy hand in casting calls for other women in the Transformers 2 movie. It seems that every brunette was tossed immediately because…they were brunette. She wanted to be the star of the movie…in a brown haired way. Beautiful blondes were cast, but they didn’t threaten her like the brunettes I suppose.
