Congratulations, Jasper… err… Jackson!

Edward and Bella may have been the first (and only) ones from the Cullen coven to successfully procreate, but it was actually Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone) who was the first to do it in real life.

According to the latest star news, Jackson and his girlfriend, Sheila Hafsadi, are expecting their first child. Rathbone’s rep tells Us Weekly:

“[Jackson and Shiela are] thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child.”

Shiela is actually already five months pregnant, and Jackson couldn’t be more excited. Us reports:

“A source tells Us he recently traded in two of his vehicles for a Lexus Hybrid SUV to make more room for the family’s little one.”

Aaww. Congratulations!

Did Rob actually visit Russia for his interview in the magazine? We kind of enjoy imagining the image of him frolicking in the snow wearing a babushka and valenki winter boots…and not much else. How does that grab you? Of course, we can’t really expect the magazine’s inside pages to contain such risqué photos…what would Kristen Stewart say! But we can dream, can’t we?

In a more plausible reality, Rob probably called the interview in, and since GQ Russia seemed to want to focus on him as a person, and not as the superstar vampire (oh, wait…that’s Lestat), the only photos you’ll see of him will be ones where he’s fully dressed…but ye gods…that stare!

No naked (or even near naked) Rob here for this particular issue, but we hear people chock-full of vodka and working with a lot of imagination can still cop a thrill…

Uh, wait…who’s George Takei again?

If you’re not a Trekkie, you poor, unfortunate soul, you wouldn’t know that George Takei played Hikaru Sulu, the USS Enterprise’s helmsman from the original television series. Yes, that makes him a septuagenarian, and likely not worthy of your notice. But hark, George Takei is still a force to reckon with a 248,000-strong Twitter following and 310,000 Facebook likes among Trekkie fans. And he fancies himself an ambassador among science fiction nations, too…

Mr. Sulu…that is to say, Mr. Takei, fully aware of the ongoing battle between his beloved “Star Trek” fans and George Lucas‘ “Star Wars” die-hards, sought to bring peace between the two warring factions by urging them to unite against a common enemy.

Said common enemy being “Twilight.”

“Fellow Star folks, cool it down and shut your big wormholes,”

Mr. Sulu eloquently elucidates in a YouTube video.

“Each is wonderful in its own special way. What’s needed today now more than ever is star peace, for there is an ominous, mutual threat to all science fiction. It’s called Twilight and it is really, really bad.”

What is he saying? Does he not know how many millions of “Twilight” fans are sharpening their fangs even as the video makes it’s rounds on the Internet?

“Gone is any sense of heroism, camaraderie or epic battles. In its place, we have vampires that sparkle, moan and go to high school.”

George Takei complains.

“Now, I’m not above mixing in a little sex appeal to spice up the fantasy, but sci-fi fans be warned, there are no great stories, characters or profound life lessons to be found in Twilight. Nooo…In Twilight, the only message that rings through loud and clear is: ‘Does my boyfriend like me?’”

And apparently Stephenie Meyer, George Takei really, truly doesn’t like you.

“Let us band together to combat this mutual threat.”

The video, which contains some introductory rants by “Star Trek’s” original Captain James Kirk, William Shatner, and “Star Wars’ Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher, has just very recently been posted, entertainment news learned. Which means not a lot of “Twilight” fans have woken up from their “Breaking Dawn” hangover yet and seen the video.

Watch out, Steph. You don’t want to anger the Twi-hards… some of those people actually wear fangs.

In her recent interview with E! News at the red carpet premiere of “Breaking Dawn,” Ms. Stephenie Meyer admitted:

“I don’t really like ‘Twi-hard.’ It sounds awful.”

That’s kind of a huge bummer for all your Twi-hard fans, Stephenie. But we kinda get what you mean about it sounding “awful.” It does sound a bit obscene, actually, thanks to the “hard” part… but we won’t get into that.

Now Stephenie may not be a fan of the term Twi-hard, but she does like one “Twilight”-related word:

“I guess the Robstens are really funny to me… You know, because they care so much about that relationship. It’s just, I find it amusing.”

We wonder if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the two people for which the moniker was made, find it amusing, too.

How sad. Does this mean they’ve all gotten sick of each other?

In her recent interview with Seventeen magazine, Nikki talked about her experiences as a part of the “Twilight” family, and how it’s not all fun and laughter between everyone. The gorgeous newlywed, who tied the knot with “American Idol” alum Paul MacDonald last month, explained:

“In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family – it was like being at sleepaway camp.”

Unfortunately, all that changed. She added:

“…then success comes along and changes the dynamic. We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.”

Nikki, who plays Edward Cullen’s adopted sister Rosalie Hale, admitted:

“It was very, very sad. Let’s just leave it at that… Attachments grow when you’re working with the same people for so long. People are friends, people fall in love, people get in fights. We’re not all robots in that way. Sure, things have gone on, and it’s weird to have them be in the public eye.”

Interesting. We wonder which members of the “Twilight” cast aren’t on such great terms with each other… any guesses?

Uh… how is that possible?

As it turns out, the actor who played the priest in “Breaking Dawn”—the one who marries Edward and Bella—is no actor at all… he’s a real priest! Rob revealed:

“The wedding scene’s funny because we used a real priest. So technically we are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony.”

He added:

“So we don’t have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married.”

Hmm. Is Rob trying to give us some kind of hint? After all, now that Kristen’s (accidentally) admitted that they are dating—and have been since the rumors started floating around—it’s quite a big possibility that they would end up walking down the altar, much like their “Twilight” characters.

Reed, 23 and McDonald, 27, have been engaged as far back as June’s “MTV Movie Awards” when Nikki revealed her engagement ring, gushing to reporters,

“He’s the one…he’s the one.”

The ceremony took place with only family and close friends present, as well as “American Idol” alum Stefano Langone and members of McDonald’s band, the Grand Magnolias.

Nikki‘s good friend and former “Spy Kids” star, Alexa Vega was maid of honor, and the groom and his band serenaded wedding guests with a few surprise performances.

“We couldn’t be happier!”

The bride bubbled happily.

“[We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come.”

Just because he happens to be gifted with boyish good looks (hey, he’s only 19…give the kid a break), has a buff bod (he’d needed that to play a werewolf, or else lose his job), and is so assiduously well-groomed (well, thank heavens…here’s a guy who isn’t a slob), the rumor mill has sparked off talk that he bats for the other team…inside the closet.

So why isn’t anyone saying the same thing of Robert Pattinson who happens to be way prettier than Taylor is? Is it just a case of Team Edward trying to sabotage Team Jacob?

Well, for one thing, gossipmongers point out, Taylor‘s been linked to all sorts of beautiful women, including namesake Taylor Swift and “Abduction” co-star Lily Collins, but all these so-called relationships were superficial and short-lived. On the other hand, what male teenager in his right mind would trap himself in a long-term relationship?

For another, Taylor drives a 2012 silver SLS AMG Mercedes-Benz, a car reportedly for gay people who prefer to proclaim they aren’t. Seriously, a gay car? They’re kidding right?

And also because he lives with his parents despite the money he’s been making. Well, maybe he has a close relationship with his family. Besides, there’s a recession out there. Taylor‘s not a fool to move out and spend money like water when he isn’t sure his career won’t bottom out in fickle Hollywood.

“The thing I love is that my home life hasn’t changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn.”

Taylor‘s been quoted as saying. Now that there’s an old-fashioned guy who’s been raised right…fit enough to bring home to momma.

So is he gay?

“No, definitely not.”

Taylor has said.

Not only is the movie’s lead single so infectious, entertainment news learned the singer put all of his pain into the song, guaranteed to be a tear-jerker when juxtaposed with Edward and Bella’s more emotional scenes together.

“After seeing the movie, I thought that it would be a perfect fit,”

The singer, born Peter Gene Hernandez said.

“The ‘Twilight’ movies for me [are] a love story. But it’s a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is: It’s the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up.”

Star news learned R-Pat tried to make a go of it while filming in between movies, and he’s finally realizing his dream of cutting a full-length album at a recording studio.

“Music is his first love! He’s tortured because he avoids it. When he’s sitting around jamming in the studio, it’s his favourite moment of life.”

A friend says.

“Rob has been kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn’t allow it. Now he’s got some weeks to get everything in line before going back to promoting ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’.”

Declares another.

The question is, will Robert Pattinson‘s first love be a hit with the same fans that brought him to international stardom when he was still known as the vampire, Edward Cullen?

So Hollywood gossip websites are looking forward to the sight of thousands of Bella fans lining up for their tickets at cinemas nationwide dressed in Edwardian-inspired Carolina Herrera knock-offs to attend Bella and Edward’s wedding in “Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ on the big screen…

The dress design is still under wraps, mind you, but keep an eye out for its unveiling just before the film premiers. And especially be prepared to shell out between $500 to $5,000 for a replica. That’s not so bad. An original Carolina Herrera will knock you out 10 or 20 times more that amount.

And is the dress worth it?

“It’s magical,”

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen said.

“That’s the only way I’ve been able to describe it. It’s magical and beautiful.”

But…

“The dress was tight, it was so tight,”

an already very slender Kristen said during the recent ComicCon.

So be prepared for magical, beautiful, expensive, and very tight. That’s the price for owning Bella’s wedding dress.

Lea met Taylor at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon when she introduced him onstage. She revealed to Marc Malkin of E! Online:

“I was shaking… I was so nervous. I was just shaking and shaking.”

The overexcited Lea insisted on giving Taylor a hug in front of the audience, saying:

“I promise to control myself.”

After taking a couple of pictures together, Lea shared:

“I told him it was going to be our wedding picture… He is going to think I’m crazy.”

Did he? Of course not! When asked about what he thought of Lea, Taylor admitted:

“I love her. I had never met her before. She is such a doll.”

Hmm. Taylor‘s ex, Taylor Swift, did go out with Lea‘s onscreen boyfriend and glee club co-captain Cory Monteith. How weird would it be if Lea and Taylor (Lautner) started dating, too?

While Twi-hards all over the world are itching to see Rob and Kristen get down in the bedroom as their characters Edward and Bella in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ one of their own co-stars has expressed reluctance in seeing it.

Michael tells E! Online:

“I have not seen [it]… And I’ll be honest, I can’t say I’m looking forward to it, because these are good friends of mine and I don’t really want to see that.”

The actor may be uncomfortable about seeing Rob and Kristen‘s sex scenes, but his co-star Jackson Rathborne—who plays Jasper Hale, Edward’s adopted brother—isn’t. He’s seen it, and he thinks it’s super hot:

“It’s definitely sexy… It sizzles, man. It sizzles like bacon!”

Michael also reveals that, while he may not be looking forward to the Rob-Kristen steamy bed scenes, he’s definitely looking forward to seeing Kristen in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman.’ The actor says:

“She’s going to make a wonderful Snow White… She’s gonna do it in her Kristen-y way that only she can. But I’m really looking forward to it because I’m a big fan of her work.”

Is Michael really just uncomfortable (and possibly a kind of male prude)? Or is he jealous?

Aside from being a Twi-hard, Nina shares that she is also a big fan of ‘Twilight’ actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who play the main protagonists in the four-part book/movie series. In an interview with MTV News, she says:

“I think that we’re all really happy for each other… I’m very happy that they exist because we exist because of them. Their success is our success. I’m kind of sad the movies are almost over.”

Well, it’s true that ‘Twilight’ is the main reason for the public’s reawakened obsession for vampire literature, so it probably does stand to reason that Nina’s show could not have been as big as it is now if not for its predecessor.

Taylor appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last May 24 and shared his thoughts and feelings on reaching the end of the phenomenal ‘Twilight’ films:

“It’s very weird… We’ve literally been filming for the past three or four years, and it’s strange to know I’m not going back — I’m not going to film as Jacob Black anymore.”

Taylor also revealed that Kristen was the one who was most upset when ‘Breaking Dawn’ wrapped:

“I was pretty upset myself, but I think the biggest surprise was Kristen… I predicted, ‘Guys, we’re going to be kind of sad when we finish this.’ On the last day, we did get emotional.”

Fortunately, we haven’t seen the last of Taylor and his cast mates Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Taylor revealed that, since ‘Breaking Dawn’ will be broken up into two films:

“We’re going to be promoting these movies for the next two years.”

The good news? Yes, K-Stew and RPattz will get married. The gross news? Get ready for a morbid-looking birth scene. According to director Bill Condon:

“We shot everything — whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth — as potent and powerful as it can be,” says director Bill Condon, who knew he was working within the constraints of a PG-13 rating. “It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.”

Kristen Stewart for her part added:

I’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex,” she says. “The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book.” She sighs: “I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

One cast member, Tinsel Korey, tweeted her remorse at being told to leave:

“They’re evacuating us 4 a tsumnani [sic] warning. If this this is my last my tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz.” She followed up her initial tweet with, “If this is the moment. Then I’ve lived a good life. And I’m thankful 4 everything I’ve been given.”

While its unlikely the Twilight cast will lose their lives, it certainly put a kink in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ production. Let’s hope they can go back to work soon.

I guess a red carpet lasting three hours is no big deal since fans have been sitting out for five days!

Thousands of “Twi-hards” jammed Los Angeles this week for a chance to see the premiere of Eclipse, the latest movie adaptation in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. And last night, the dream came true for the lucky ones who got a peek at the stars — and at the movie.

Looks like a great time! Taylor and Robert signed autographs, as did the others like Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. So, what is up with the red suit of Robert’s though – do you like it?
