Valerie Bertinelli: “Tom and I like being able to walk around naked”

Being Naked with Tom:

“I like it when they’re here [their kids from their previous marriages], but Tom and I also like being able to walk around naked, and you can’t do that when the kids are in the house.”

#1 Marriage Rule – No Cheating:

“My position is, if you ever think you’re going to start looking outside, we need to talk. Because either it’s going to be over right then, or we’re going to work on it so you don’t feel the need to look elsewhere.”

Lessons from Previous Marriages:

“Tom’s ex-wife left him for another man, and I failed at my previous marriage – I did terrible things, as Ed did. We both have been through that kind of pain, and we’re never going to do that or have that done to us again. I need to be beyond that as a human being and as a partner.”

Ed: that’s Eddie Van Halen, her ex-husband. Yes I’d love to walk around naked too if I could lose a few chubby pounds LOL.

Wow, that’s definitely some heavy duty weight loss. Bertinelli, the ex-wife of rocker, Eddie Van Halen  has become a spokesperson for the Jenny Craig weight-loss program.

“She wanted to get her bikini body back, and now that she has it, she’s sharing it with the whole world!” People senior editor Galina Espinoza told “Today.”

According to Espinoza, Bertinelli wants to spread the message that women “can change anything they want to change—[at] any time.”

The Bertinelli quote is, “It’s never too late to get your body back!”

Valerie is currently promoting her new autobiography, Losing It—And Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time, which culminates in a description of her Jenny Craig experience. Besides weight loss, Valerie also dishing about her cheating on Van Halen, drug use, her dating Steven Spielberg and so forth. Heck, she looks happy and she looks amazing that’s what matters. Who doesn’t have baggages?

Bertinelli taped a segment for Oprah that airs Monday and says this:

“He’s a handsome young man, qsn’t he? I went up to read for Raiders of the Lost Ark, which I was so wrong for, way too young for… And the next day I got a call and some flowers … [Spielberg] asked me out. We went out a few times, um, and did more.”

She also dishes drugs and cheating:

“I cheated,” she confessed. “[Ex-husband Eddie Van Halen] claims to this day that I cheated first, but I don’t know. I don’t know about the timing.”Bertinelli, 47, also admitted to using cocaine during her marriage to Eddie, 53.

We all have a story to tell, don’t we but Bertinelli’s book will likely be on the best sellers’ list just because she was involved with Steven Speilberg and Eddie Van Halen.
