Let the Nick Lachey/Jessica Simpson wedding race begin! After getting engaged within a week of one another (ironically almost exactly five years after their highly public divorce), Lachey hinted that he may get married on New Years while vacationing with Vanessa Minnillo inTuscany.
While making the talk show rounds this morning, he told The Racheal Ray Show:
Jessica Simpson is sadden by her ex, Nick Lachey’s engagement news! Oh! In case you missed it Nick and Vanessa Minnillo are engaged to be married!
A friend of Jessica tells Pop Eater, “Even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her,” “Nick was the love of her life then, man, and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She’s deeply saddened.”
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are getting married! Lachey is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo! The couple are ready to say “I Do.”
“We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,” the couple tells Us magazine in a statement.
According to another source, Nick, 36, proposed with an Asscher-cut diamond with baguettes from Bader & Garrin.
Jessica Simpson had nothing nice to say when she unexpectedly ran into Nick Lachey and girlfriend Nick Lachey at an LA-area restaurant. Simpson and Lachey married and called it quits after three years in 2005, since then it’s rumored the two never talk.
When Jessica spotted the couple across the room, a witness says she started drinking lots of margaritas and taking shots. Getting really loud, and then she sniped to a her server of all people:
