In the days before her sudden death, Whitney had reportedly been telling her friends that she “really wanted to see Jesus” and that she had a feeling her life would be over soon.

According to the singer’s friends, Whitney became extremely spiritual in the days prior to her death. She reportedly talked a lot about Jesus Christ and the afterlife, occasionally quoting scriptures and singing religious songs.

Just one day before her death, Houston reportedly told one of her friends:

“I’m gonna go see Jesus … I want to see Jesus.”

And hours before she was found lifeless in a bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton, Whitney, who had been discussing a bible passage with some companions, said:

“You know, he’s so cool … I really want to see that Jesus.”

TMZ reports:

“Whitney had been telling friends she “felt like her time was coming” … and wanted to make sure she spent her time praising her lord and savior whenever she could.”

Sadly, Whitney was right.

But we’re glad to know that she seemed prepared for it.

Quite a step up for the 31-year-old singer whose one other claim to fame came from peddling a video of his male member making thorough acquaintance with Kim Kardashian‘s prominent behind. And now he has another notch in his belt…it seems he was Whitney Houston‘s last boyfriend, as well, if Hollywood rumors are to be believed.

Who’d have thought Whitney was such a cougar?

The idea of Ray J as Whitney‘s romantic interest was doubly cemented when he was among the first people to rush to the Beverly Hills hotel room that fateful Saturday as soon as he heard of Whitney‘s death, only to be turned away by law enforcement officials.

And the last image photographers had of him was of Ray J with his head bowed on his hands, seeking solace from his sister, R&B singer, Brandy, right after Whitney‘s passing.

The rumors began in 2007 when the late Grammy winner was photographed with Ray J enjoying dinner at Beverly Hills hot spot Mastro’s just a year after divorcing her husband of 15 years, Bobby Brown. They were also spotted at the Bernard Hopkins-verses-Joe Calzaghe fight in Las Vegas.

“We like singing, music, movies.”

Ray J told People Magazine at the time.

“We just watched ‘The Pursuit Of Happyness.”

However, just last week before Houston‘s death, Ray J acted coy when asked about their relationship during an exclusive interview with The Insider .

“We’ve always tried to keep our relationship as private as we could, but when we go out she’s such an icon it reaches the masses,”

Ray J was quoted as saying.

“But for the most part, we’ve just been friends and we’ve always just kept things hush hush and just quiet and we don’t focus on that.”

We think its silly Ray J would try to hide his relationship with a woman who had more talent in her pinky fingernail than the porn star reality starlet whom he continues to relish his backdoor sex-ploits with on the Internet.

After members of her staff pulled her out of the tub at around 3:30 pm that day, hotel security was immediately alerted, and fire department officials who arrived found her unconscious and unresponsive despite administering CPR. They pronounced her dead at 3:55 pm. While officials found prescription medication in Whitney Houston‘s hotel room, they were ruled out as not “alarming” or “out of the ordinary”…

“There weren’t a lot of prescription bottles. You probably have just as many prescription bottles in your medicine cabinet.”

L.A. assistant chief coroner, Ed Winter said at a press conference 10 hours ago , adding that they were all “pretty normal” prescriptions.

“I have more prescriptions than what was found in her [Houston's] room.”

A source also informed ABC News that one of the prescriptions was amoxicillin, an antibiotic commonly used to treat bacterial infections. Houston‘s official cause of death will not be determined for six to eight weeks, pending toxicology results.

As of press time, the late pop star’s family have been making arrangements to fly her body home to her native New Jersey for a funeral to be held at the end of the week.

As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized twice following Whitney’s death. During the second time she was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel—where her mother’s body was found—and had to be taken out of the hotel on a stretcher. According to sources she was “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.”

Due to Bobbi Kristina’s “hysterical” reaction, her family members are afraid that she might try to commit suicide. TMZ reports:

“The family believes she might try and take her own life. According to one source, the family feels Bobbi Kristina needs help and they are considering rehab as an option.”

Poor girl. We hope she gets the help she needs.

L.A. County Coroner officials have concluded that Whitney Houston, who was discovered lying facedown in a hotel bathtub, could not have died from drowning, despite the fact that water was found in her lungs. According to their findings, the award winning singer actually died from a cocktail of prescription drugs, which she had taken with alcohol.

Houston’s family, according to TMZ, was told that the singer died from a mixture of Xanax, alcohol, and other prescription drugs, and that she may have already been dead before her head became submerged in the water.

“American Idol”  finalist, Hudson, 30, belted a powerful and teary rendition of Houston‘s most popular tune,  “I Will Always Love You” during a Grammy tribute to music industry professionals who died last year, and in particular, Whitney Houston…

Hudson began the song a capella, which garnered her quick applause for her vocal pacing and her uncanny ability to capture the mood of Houston‘s version of the song, a Dolly Parton original that became one of the biggest songs of all time when Whitney sang it for the soundtrack for the 1992 film “The Bodyguard.”

Hudson fought back tears as she sang lyrics pledging unconditional love, and breathing new life into the iconic piece that tells the story of “bittersweet memories” and promises to “think of you every step of the way.”

Though Hudson is clearly capable of mimicking Whitney‘s signature climatic high note at the end of the song’s chorus, she tastefully opted not to do so in honor of the late entertainer. Hudson closed the song with an emotional and soft-spoken, “we love you” addressed to Whitney Houston.

When the news of the six-time Grammy award winner’s death broke out, a tribute to the late singer was immediately planned for the event, despite her passing overshadowing this year’s awards. Hudson, another Grammy winner, will be honoring the late singer by performing one of Whitney Houston‘s biggest hits and most memorable song from her movie, “The Bodyguard”…

During impromptu rehearsals on Sunday, Hudson was overcome with emotion and broke down in tears.

“Whitney, we will always love you,”

Hudson sobbed.

She had previously presented her rendition of the  song at the BET Honors for Houston in 2010 when Whitney was still alive.

It looked like Whitney Houston‘s passing hit Bobbi Kristina pretty hard, and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment of stress and anxiety. Earlier when Houston was discovered lifeless in her Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub, Bobbi Kristina, 18, had a shouting match with law enforcement officials who refused to let her in to see her mother’s body…

After she had left the hotel following a verbal altercation with the police, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was was taken out of the Beverly Hilton hotel on a stretcher on Sunday and transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

This was Bobbi Kristina‘s second trip to the hospital this week. Reports say she was also hospitalized the day before for symptoms suspiciously related to illegal drug use.

“It’s going to be very hard for her,”

Ian Drew, senior editor of Us Weekly, told ABCNews.com.

According to family sources, Bobbi Kristina was more than just close to her mother… she became Whitney‘s caretaker as the six-time Grammy winner struggled with addiction.

“Bobbi Kristina basically grew up her mother’s caretaker, similar to Frances Bean,”

Drew continued.

“In a way she was the adult in relationship.”

Bobbi Kristina was eventually released from Cedars-Sinai earlier today as her mother’s body made its way to the morgue to undergo autopsy.

How sad.

Just a few short months before her sudden death, Whitney Houston did an interview with Access Hollywood on the set of her last film “Sparkle,” which also stars Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green, and Tika Sumpter.

In the interview, Houston appeared healthier and happier than she’d looked in a long time… and she definitely seemed optimistic about what lay in her future.

When asked about how she felt about her big screen comeback, Whitney admitted:

“I feel honored. I feel humbled that I’m still able to do what I do.”

She also said:

“I’ve got 30 years under my belt now… There’ll be ups and there’ll be the downs… But you believe in your faith and your determination. People who encourage you to do and be the best you can… It is a blessing that I have a mother who is very strong and a family that surround me and constantly tell me that they love me. And my daughter is my greatest inspiration. She loves me.”

Whitney added:

“I’ve got some good saints out there that pray for me constantly… You got to have that support. It’s a major strength.”

The R&B singer took to the stage with the New Edition at Landers Center, just a few moments after receiving the news of Houston‘s death, and despite having had a troubled marriage with the multi-Grammy awardee, peppered by domestic abuse, drug co-dependency, and trouble with the law, he grieved for Whitney while continuing to profess his love for her…

“First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all,”

Brown told the audience.

“Second, I would like to say, ‘I love you Whitney.’ The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage tonight.”

And while Brown didn’t come onstage until the second song, “Hit Me Off,” which he performed enthusiastically, he broke down while singing his solo hit, “Tenderoni,” and had to ask the audience to help sing the song with him as he cried.

Brown and Houston were married from 1992 to 2007, and have an 18-year-old daughter together, Bobbi Kristina Brown. They’d also collaborated professionally on the 1993 hit, “Something In Common”…

The 18-year-old daughter of Whitney and ex-husband, Bobby Brown rushed to the scene as soon as she heard of her mother’s passing, but was denied entrance by Beverly Hills law enforcement who informed her that no one was allowed to see the body…

According to sources, Bobbi Kristina got into a shouting match with the police, screaming, cursing and demanding to see her mother’s body, to no avail. She was eventually turned out and left the premises.

Whitney Houston‘s famous cousin, singer, Dionne Warwick, arrived a few hours later, but was also turned away by police officers.

While no criminal intent was established in the death of the troubled multi-awarded singer, apparently the Beverly Hills police refused to have the scene contaminated by anyone until it could be concluded no foul play was involved in the incident.

While no illegal drugs were found in the Beverly Hills Hotel room where the 48-year-old singer and actress died yesterday, prescription drugs were present, and it may be possible the six-time Grammy award winning entertainer may have drowned in the bathtub.

By the time the EMTs had arrived at the scene, Whitney‘s  body had already been removed from the tub by those who had tried to resuscitate her, and its unclear whether the cause of her death can be attributed to an overdose of prescription medication, inadvertent drowning in the bathtub, or other causes, until an autopsy can be performed.

The Beverly Hills police had earlier searched her room and found various bottles of pills, but no illegal substances or alcohol.

New details about the shocking death of Whitney Houston have emerged—the singer was reportedly found in the bathtub of the hotel room she was staying at, and was discovered by her entourage, who promptly called hotel security to alert the police and the paramedics.

The paramedics, who arrived within minutes, tried to revive Whitney and performed CPR, but the singer was beyond help and was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM.

Sources tell TMZ that there were no illegal drugs in the room where Whitney was found. However, there were several bottles of prescription drugs.

The cause of death, however, is still yet to be determined by an autopsy.

According to the latest hollywood gossip, Houston has realized she needs major help and instead of signing up for therapy or rehab, she’s decided to go the life coach route.

“Sources close to Whitney wouldn’t elaborate on what the additional treatment entails — but we’re told the singer has hired a round-the-clock life coach to help keep her on track.

We’re told Whitney personally decided to seek out treatment over a month ago as part of a longstanding recovery process — entering the out-patient program completely on her own accord.

As one source put it, “She really wants it this time.”

Houston as we know is a major party animal and enjoys her vices. Cigarettes, the source says, is one the singer isn’t prepared to let go of just yet.

Although she checked herself into rehab this spring, she isn’t really serious about getting healthy. The doctor, continues this source, is afraid she’ll die a “horrible death.”

Sources have revealed that Whitney was in attendance at several Prince concerts over the last few weeks, and she seemed to have been drunk (or high) at every single one of them.

TMZ has learned that Whitney was constantly demanding to be allowed onstage, but was refused every time because Prince’s staff “didn’t want her to embarrass herself.”

Aside from her crazy drunken behavior, Whitney also made repeated and excessive ticket demands, until finally Prince and his people became fed up and banned her from all the other concerts.

What makes her think she can act this way?

So while we don’t have any details as to what pushed Houston over into the dark side this time, we do know that her drug of choice in the past was always cocaine.

She very famously told Diane Sawyer in 2002:

“I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let’s get that straight. Okay? We don’t do crack. We don’t do that. Crack is whack.”

The National Enquirer published a follow-up to the first story saying Bobbi is now seeking help for her addiction.

“In an attempt to save her adolescent daughter from repeating her own mistakes, the 47-year-old mama has reportedly canceled Bobbi Kristina’s 18th birthday celebration at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, is taking back the Lexus she gifted her daughter and is sending her straight to rehab…Houston credits her own mother, Cissy Houston, with saving her from her addiction to crack cocaine. Houston told Oprah in 2009 that her mother forced her to rehab after getting a court injunction that allowed her to stage an intervention with armed police at Houston’s door in 2004.”

While Bobbi has denied all of this, a trip to rehab probably wouldn’t be the worst thing for her. She certainly has a genetic predisposition to substance abuse and it would be good to nip it in the bud now.
